hello all... i am trying to create a trace of tears on a person face, but i cant seems to make it...
huhu~... someone gave me some ideas on how to do it... i tried from scratch it look so creepy, when i used stock it look out of place... -
for some weird reason Yoo Ji Tae reminds me of Kim tae Woo (G.O.D) maybe the smile and the height? ahaha...
however, i'm gald this movie was accepted greatly by the critics... and i hope the movie will atrract ALL the people from Korea to watch it.. huhu~ i will definitely watch!

Wow, finally this question was brought up. This is a very good question. What is the difference between coloring and colorizing? Here is what I know so far:
[+] Coloring - improving the colors
This is very common on icons but also for making your base looking better. Let say you want to make a colored icon. You open your image and crop it to 100x100 px. You don't make it black&white; you keep it as it is. By using the adjustment menu and different blending options, you will get a colored icon.
For this example, I took a pic from veer - cropped it - duplicated it three times - changed blending options to screen and softlight - adjustment menu - selection colors. And just like filtering, you play around with the amount until you're happy with the results. Usually, you'll see when the colors are right
. [+] Colorizing - changing the colors
This is a tecnique that requires patient; finding the right colors can be really painful. You open your image and make it black&white. Then you start making new layer and set it to color and find the right/nice color to use. The pick a round brush to use (which brush to use is up to you) This step can be repeated.
As you can see, the example is really ugly and I only did two parts because I don't want to spend time on picking a nice color for the skin and other parts. This takes time so don't get all worked up because the result isn't nice.

Hello all... i just want to ask something... i hope someone will answer.
As a newbie in photoshop, i had always wonder what does filtering means when i browse through the art section. Almost everyone will go 'Oh, nice filtering.' 'That's a good filter' and such... When i try playing with my Photoshop, it seems using filters menus, you can do a lot more things, not just 'filtering' like it has infamously termed... and few pages back, there's a tutorial that is very enlightening, i now know that here in Soompi, 'filtering' means the bright light thingy that is usually seen on graphics. Thanks to espèce* and everyone else who had patiently explains this, many thanks, again.
But when someone says colourise or colouring (i.e. colorize or coloring) what is it actually? Is it just Image>adjustments>hue/saturation, or colouring the images using the steps to colourise black and white image, like new layer>set blend mode to colour>and use the brush and the colours, or just copying the layer sooo many times and change the blending mode... or is it all of these steps? or more than these?
for example, these icons made by asianrice a.k.a. linh, http://www.soompi.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=131477, i adore the colours so much... they look simply good. I have extra fondness of bright colours, so can someone clears up my confusion? Thank you.

Full House with more than 30% rating, and WSAYF #1 in the allocated time slot... i hope he will continue to produce great work! He is the one who bring our BiKyo together... if i were about to met him, I will thank him from the bottom of my heart... :blush: -

anyway, talking about the street i love the most in Full House when Ji Eun pushed Young Jae down quite a bit so that they were at the same height... i absolutely adore the smiles they have on their faces... it looks so genuine, as if they were a real couple, having real fun.
the way they glanced at each other, must be loving each other so much. Er i mean, Young Jae and Ji Eun. well, as for the karaoke scene, you can tell SHK was really tearing up... well she definitely is because just after the scene she shed a couple of tears (OMG how can tears be counted, but anyway) because it's time to part with all the FH cast... and i remember Bi rushing off early... he got schedule maybe...
aish...The other person I love most, guess who? The director!!! I kinda miss him. haha

oh, 'Chusung ahn mida' and 'Miah ne' is the same thing, means I'm sorry. But You said 'Chusung ahn mida' as in formally, especially to someone whom you are not very close to, and maybe someone older, u said them with respect, that sort of thing. But one say 'Mi ahn ne' to someone closer, like close friends and such. doesnt mean that its disrespectful, its just unformal...
and yeah, i had watched Full House so many times already... but i still cried when Ji Eun confessed to Young Jae on 'D-day'... i dont know why. i find it touching... and my fave cute scene is the one when Ji Eun caught Young jae eating bibimbap, he was getting indigestion, when she said 'why is your arm so long?'
and i love the one when Young jae and Ji Eun where having conversation abt Min Hyuk where Young Jae ask her to be careful... and i love YJ expression when Ji Eun said 'Everyone in Korea knows that i am your wife... bla bla bla..' hehe... YJ expression, priceless!

Kyo was laughing again... and at the end of the clip, he said, 'Chusung ahn mida' to all, and said a softer 'Miah ne'... wonder he said that to who? and i also love this one, at 2:30, when Bi put his arms on Hye Kyo's neck... Bi suddenly got up... they wrote on the clip 'Hye Kyo, are u okay?'

In this show,there was quite a long segment on rain, he was jeolous that rain was on top of him.
He even made an own "how to avoid the sun" mtv.
Rain is gettin more and more recognition in the US....though he wasnt in the list, but he got so much

wahhhh... i love the Celine bag!!! but i know it will cost me an arm and a leg to buy that. i went to Harrods few months back in London, and saw Celine section, so i went just to see the average price... they were like £400+ and above... how can one like me afford something so pricey like that????
i wonder if the bag will be sold here too... hmm... maybe later if i went to London, i will check... looks like SHK unnie herself love celine bag... huhu~ she has the money, she can buy almost everything...

yeah, she did... she said 'Chu go!' = jokingly like Ji Eun love to say... or even Young Jae... i found Bi's expression were priceless during the end of the song... he was trying very hard not to laugh... Hye Kyo unnie just too cute!
and i remember at the beginning of the clip, even the director said 'Don't laugh~' ah i LOVE and ABSOLUTELY ADORE the director... he has this witty way to make people laugh watching his drama... after Full House he directed Which Star Are You from and the drama was a rather successful one. I hope he will direct more of this genre... and hopefully gathering Full House cast back, maybe Min Hyuk's or Hae Won love story where Young Jae and Ji Eun appearances, with a solid marriage and maybe couples of eutiful children?? Ha...
