I hardly post here at Soompi but just had to at this thread as I also adore Choi Su Jong, saw him in Emperor of the Sea, but admittedly *blush* got smitten by Sung Il Guk instead in the end!!! Hae Shin???? OMO must check it out! I also watched him as the doctor drama - Man of the Sun! I only watched it because Choi Su Jong was in it!!
I only get to watch DJY on our newly launched KBSWORLD on our local Satelite TV station Astro but only got to watch after 110 ep. onwards *slaps on head* !!!! I must find a way on how to watch from the start but with the necessary English subs!
Argghhhh AUSSIE, so miss your brand of personality and enthusiasm on a thread, miss our LOVERS days! Have you been on YISAN....opps. OK before I get wacked for talking about other threads... on DJY...
This drama is so engaging, so many personalities/figures that provide great acting and the story too is griping! Again tonight's episode ended in a cliffhanger but shan't say as you are at Ep. 41? Don't you think Choi Su Jong has gotten more charismatic? I think he is performing even better than his Emperor of the Sea days!

Ahhhhh it's so good to see some Soompiers on this drama! Only got to watch it when ASTRO showed KBSWORLD recently into our airwaves but I was hooked even from just a few episodes from like Ep. 112 ???!!!

I have not even watched one episode nor have I come over to Soompi for a while, but one of the first things I did was ensure I came to YISAN thread to read your summaries Dramaok!!! (Will go go Lobbyist thread shortly *winks*)
One of the things reading does is with the so many characters, I get confused on who is who, but I guess that'll just have to do until I get to watch it....don't know when!
BIG HUGS to MrsKorea & Mily2 and the rest helping with the subs Suz07, Sanbi etc.- Wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww so fast the subs come out near in sync with the episodes gosh!!!
I was feeling the same when I read the summaries till episode 10/11 - aiya why the same conspiracy things over and over and no WOW factor when they finally meet LSJ & HJM on screen - Ep. 10? But looks like things are heating up!

The only reason I popped into Soompi is because of LOBBYIST and see how it is doing - I've been so busy OMO!
And from what I'm reading.....it's coming along but raising quite a no. of eyebrows in quite alot of areas - I had expected it to have some violence (sell guns what else can one aspect!) but not in such a quantum....
Well we'll see!

Yup dear Dramaok is still overseas, but I sure hope she will be back before ANGEL / LOBBYIST starts in October 2007? I must go visit her soon on her blog - a beautiful place for SIG....what a doll, she keeps us so abreast with our darling's updates.....
I was rewatching Terms Of Endearments....and EVERYTIME I would be so overwelmed by him and his character with Han Ga In, he did such a great portrayal that I cried EVERY TIME and felt so warm EVERY TIME for his love and dedication to Han Ga In's character.....what a LOVE story....LOVED it so much....I don't know about you gals, but I ONLY practically watched all scenes with HIM only....how bimbotic can one get yes??!!!! Didn't even bother with the start of the drama with Ji Sung! My heart would dance with pure delight when he comes in at Ep. thirthy something....
I so want to rewatch EMPEROR of the SEA but they are with a pal of mine *wails*...and today as I was rewatching All About Eve(after soooooo long), FINALLY, I caught a glimpse of him too, so small part but I had to rewind and see it a few times! ha!ha!
Amongst all the many actors in K-dom, he to me has the deepest male voice that timbre that warms my heart so....and when he laughs, chuckles, giggles or ROAR in grief....I just get so caught up with it!
I so can't wait to see him again on his upcoming drama....
Aidalr dearie, bet you have gone through crates of Soju eh after learning about *daughter-in-law* perhaps latest news by Dramaok on his mum denying is giving you some reprieve!......But I would really like him to be happily married.......
But admittedly, I have some challenge with myself when I know my fav actor is married and deeply in love with their wifes....I get a bit distracted in "believing" in the romance on screen at the start...for instead of getting into the grove of the "fantasy" created "story"...my realistic zone in my brain captures "acting only lah, no real romance lah, married already lah"...so it takes me a while to release these realistic captures to immerse myself to the drama/story.....and hope that the leads do actually feel something for one another when their chemistry sizzles on screen......just like LOVERS with Lee Seo Jin and Kim Jung Eun......my naueri.....

ANYONE who LOVES or LIKES JANG HYUK Absolutely MUST watch him in the new drama showing now in Seoul called THANK YOU......to me, shaping up to be one of the VERY BEST DRAMAs of all times....
For those who think it is a SOB SOB story with lots of crying....please hold that thought, OK it does have that BUT....It's such a beautiful story that unfolds with so many interesting characters that you would fall in love with...the story and script would captivate you and all throughout, it is also infused would delightful good humour that could make you laugh out so loud or cry with the irony of it all .....and the acting from Jang Hyuk, Gong Hyo Jin and the little girl Soon Ae is simply so commendable....
PLEASE DON'T MISS THIS DRAMA...IT'S BEING SUBBED BY WITHS2 also....

Though I do like my this Naueri JJH from Dae Jang Guem but I would have liked someone with a harder/edge to be the big brother...Ji Jin Hee looks too nice somehowll*shrugs* guess we'll just have to see! As for Jeong Ryo Won, I totally didn't even envisage her AT ALL in the Trio in this drama, JRW and SJS....I'm having a hard time thinking how that'll work....but I guess we would just have to trust the PD/writers...
Jeong Ryo Won.....she speaks very well in English (migrated to Australia during her teens), maybe that is that factor as it would be filmed in the US and using someone fluent in the language would make it more credible?....my first time watching her was in the popular My Name is Kim Sam Soon...then in Autumn Showers with Oh Ji Ho and finally in Which Star are you From with Kim Rae Won....I've read what people say of her acting etc.....some not very favourable...but I thought she was rather good really in all her roles undertaken. In WSAYF with Kim Rae Won, there are some OTT moments of a countryfied bumpkin she was suppose to be, but I thought she always have very good chemistry with the lead actors...and she puts all her emotions and feelings into her roles with good results......So, I do think she is a capable and a pretty good actress BUT I'm not sure how it would gel with SJS and JJH...that's my only concern.....At the moment, I JUST can't picture our darling SJS shi kissing her or falling in love with her........well, we'll just have to see won't we?....Good luck to them all!

Oh just finished Ep. 128 - What an episode !!!!
I'm an ardent Saguek fan and I must say Dae Jo Young ranks amongst the very best!!!
Oh....I so must watch this drama in it's entiety, I know it is going to cost a bomb if it even gets to the stores, and if it did it would be slashed to just a fraction of the episodes like the fantastic "The Immortal Admiral Yi Soon Shin - from 104 - 33 episodes......but Mister X said it was done well and edited by the PD himself.....
DJY ..... hwiating !!! So can't wait for next week's episodes....EVERY EPISODE ends in a cliffhanger....man this drama never have any gaps of boringness and NEVER drags....ok so I only started watching from Ep. 110....but dang I'm sure it must have been fantastic from Ep. 1 itself....
