It is impossible to imagine anyone, other than Cha Seung-won, as playing Dok Go-jin in MBC's "The Greatest Love" which has made many women a fan of the show. The actor himself calmy attributes it to "habits or practices (of the character) that the body has gotten used to" since he spends more time on set than living a normal life but that is probably not the only reason to it. From a long time ago, it was his "dream to become an actor who can play roles in both comedic and conventional projects" and he knew of exactly sort of character would make womens' hearts flutter because he said, "Someone who says things like, 'I didn't do it because I like you. I did it because I had to.' That sort of cuteness exists in men and I wanted to play a character that's like that." Hence Dok Go-jin is the result of the fusing of a man on paper and the things actor Cha Seung-won had usually had in mind.

    Like Dok Go-jin who tried to protect Goo Ae-jung even in the face of death, Cha Seung-won too has something he wants to protect. "My family including myself. Because to protect them, I have to be there for them. Being in entertainment, there are many elements that try to step beyond the boundaries of our lives. So I need to protect them from those." And he is not talking about the obvious need to harmonize work and his personal life. "When I need to do something in order to protect my family, I need to make a decision. I don't care if that doesn't make me a nice guy." This man, who is utterly professional when it comes to work, showed a glimpse of his true emotions when speaking of his family as being his absolute priority. In other words, he is a romantist. Is it possible not to become enamored with this man who says he wants to do another project like "The Greatest Love" because he believes "the good things about portraying love will be that it probably won't change even in the future." Tomorrow, "10Asia" will reveal its interview with Cha Seung-won through which viewers will be able to find immediate comfort in, particularly with the show ending its run tonight.     @antonia i actually watched parts of it (before erm really 'appreciating' CSW), and it was kind of boring... had originally wanted to start watching city hall proper after best love ends... but with chathena right in front of me now...... >.< *ack*

    as for athena... maybe i'm blind by CSW's hottnes but i find it entertaining... even when i dislike the good guys... I want Athena to win!!!!!! keke

    happyshirt sunny_dance i know it's hard to watch the necklace. right i must force my eyes to focus. certified dangerous YESSS!!!

    and happyshirt i think episode 13 of BL is the best so far. his eyes at the end are so expresive... i love his acting cause it doesn't look like he is acting at all. sometimes i forgot he is CSW and think he is DJ and he is in love with AJ and he might die so i'm desperated:tears:

    i really need something to forget my blues (at least until i get to see epi 13) and what's better that CSW the hottie;)

    i love to see so many comments on this thread!!!! i love to know we are all supporting our CSW:wub: to see the ones from the BL thread like shintsuyo,  melancholiac and nik_esma and oldies in this thread like jeatvvon (i'm always grateful for all your goodies) and now sunny_dance. though i missed tarits. i saw all your past comments, i tell you i examined every bit of this thread. and i didn't forget you QD, chingu your the best, you are making this thread so alive with your gutter adiction;)

    shintsuyo i'm checking all his older works too, but since BL started i can't advance, cause BL takes like 300% of my time. but the ones i saw before BL started i love them so much. and as you say as much as i love all the characters he played i'm more in love with the real CSW

    Melancholiac you must watch City Hall you will die of CSW hotness there, and the chemistry between him and KSA is out of the charts. till now CH is my fave drama (i said till now cause now its nose to nose with BL, but i will wait until BL ends to gave my final verdict, cause in terms of romance, chemistry and swooning is better than BL but i think CSW has a better character in BL so i don't know yet)

    antonia, that picture is what caught my attention as well... did you see the stare... i think it can melt a glacier... *swoon*

    Rachel is so pretty and the happy looks of CSW is melting me... i read somewhere he's crazy about his daughter!!! and yes his wife is the only one who has the right to can claim "he is mine" (though i always say he is mine!!!!)

    melancholiac thanks for the tatoo info, i knew what the rachel one means, but i don't know if the ankle one has some meaning

    QD love i missed you yesterday!!! thanks for the pics. i love his long hands and his short nails... if you remenber in CH there's a scene when he was writting the contract and it wasn't his hands.. it fells so weard.

    I looove CSW's hands, I always thought that tall people have long fingernails but he has relatively short nails that look very cute and different, his hands are just so beautiful he wouldn't need any other model hands.

    bebo i used to think the same... but he made me love short nails and also tatoos (wich i like only on him). and he has short nails in his feet too. on episode 11 of BL you get to see his dirty feet... and i love it. plus didn't you see the big footprints on the blanquet... that's the gutterchick talking:blush: not me...

    shyangz thanks for the video.. he got a lucky wife and i guess she has to be strong with a husband like that, i don't think it's easy for her
