is it just me or are all the women in here full of plastic.
this drama is so childish, but so funny, however i am iffy about the various love triangles.. it could get really ugly really soon.
not really sure but I think in the 2 episodes aside from the hot guys in this drama, I can't help to look at Kim Nam-joo's and Lee Hye-young's faces, like they never get old or something, plastic or not, they still look all glam ^ ^
I hope to stick watching into this drama entirely, I can't help myself why I love watching these type of dramas ^ ^

^ not sure with this answer minah, but i think Dal-soo did that because Joon-hyuk belittled him, as the flashback showed that he courted Ji-ae but because of what Bong-soon did to lure him, Ji-ae dated Dal-soo instead and he felt a little jealous and mad I guess that why he also hated Ji-ae and same goes to Dal-soo, now that he is jobless and Joon-hyuk is a senior manager, he tries to fight back his anger towards Ji-ae, which now I wonder if he is really mad at her but I think he still likes her but he fights back over his feelings for her now that they meet again
btw, I like Oh Ji-ho and Kim Nam-joo's chemistry here, they make a good husband and wife team, loved all their scenes together, sorry for being biased
and as you noticed, the elements of an ugly duckling that turns into a swan theme still reminds me of Get Karl! Oh Soo-jung, where the writer is also the one who is currently doing this drama, in Get Karl! Oh Ji-ho was the ugly ducking and now in Queen of Housewives, we see pretty Lee Hye-young as an ungly girl who later on vows to get in the nerves of Ji-ae

I haven't seen Episode 1 in it's entirety , I missed 10 mins of it so I was just able to grasp the scenes after Ji-ae married Dal-soo, and all the men were in envy since DS married the most popular girl back then, but sadly after all these years, even if Dal-soo graduated from a prestigious school, he wasn't able to find a job and Ji-ae has got to do something to help him and her family, as all her friends are also rich and successful, so she tries to befriend Young-sook, who is the President of the Pyeonggang Ladies Club, and a powerful woman, in her neighborhood by volunteering as her assistant, doing errands for her, and eventually, Young-sook liked Ji-ae though some of the members dislike her. Young-sook's husband is one of the company director of Queens Food where Ji-ae wants her husband to work for, YS arch enemy is So-Hyun, who is the wife of Tae-joon, the company President who doesn't love his wife and womanizes a lot which make So-hyun's heart broke, and she cries in the ladies room while Dal-soo, who was applying for a job there, notices her, and in fact So-hyun knows him from their college days as his Sunbae (nothing much happened yet after their encounter), basically Ji-ae does the things mentioned above to help Dal-soo get a job in Queens Food
the last part in Episode 1 just confused me, why and how did Young-sook let Ji-ae go to Bong-soon's house, at first Ji-ae wasn't aware but after Bong-soon opened the door and stares at her, JA couldn't believe her eyes that the one that she visits is Bong-soon, the girl in high school that she bullies...
sorry for my confusing summary, tried my best to digest the drama as personally I think it's not yet that appealing as we are just introduced to all the main characters of the drama, I hope it gets better in the next episodes

thanks for this one ^ ^ I think ratings will go up for this drama after BOF finishes, the charms of an Ajumma drama, that's why like dramaok said, it's a guilty pleasure watching them ^ ^ oh well, I'm optimistic that the thread will move as more will watch the drama...
my streaming was pretty bad last night that I didn't understood the entire episode! I need to rewatch Episodes 3 and 4 again
