Now that I've seen two more episodes (to ep 4), I find myself liking Oh Ji Ho's character A LOT! He's hilarious. He's so smart yet he's also so clueless. He's sincere and straight up, but then he knows how to be sly too. I think in fact, he might have a tendency to be slick deep down. I was soooo amused when he climbed the Hanggang Bridge just cause he wanted Jiae to let him off the hook, lols, that was totally clever of him. His interactions with Jiae or even Sohyun are always to look out for. Heck, he's even funny with the coffee cups
. Oh Ji Ho, despite being a total mohmjjang, can really pull off comedic roles. The last time I saw him was in the 2006 Fantasy Couple and Super Rookie before that. He was so stiff in Super Rookie, and he lacked subtlety in Fantasy Couple. But now I think he's really good with comedic roles.On Jiae vs Bongsoon, I'm honestly still leaning more towards Bongsoon. I love Jiae to bits, she's a total hoot, but I think until Bongsoon gets even with her, I will still sympathize more with Bongsoon. I think insults regarding money don't even come close to insults regarding physical appearance. Imagine the words 'You're so poor.' and 'You're so ugly.', no matter how I look at them, the latter is just a lot more harsh. Especially since High School Jiae seemed to take much care into driving that point (how unattractive Bongsoon was) home. Therefore, even though Jiae is awesome and Bongsoon's being such a biyotch, Bongsoon's conducts now are easier to forgive.
Kim Nam Joo and Lee Hye Young are doing superbly. This if my first KNJ's drama while I've seen LHY in Dalja's Spring and Heroine 6 in the past. I wasn't sure I could buy them donning high school outfits and acting out their high school days when they're about 20 years older than highschool age. Surprisingly, they looked just fine. Sure, they looked too old to be high school students, but they were able to make viewers (or at least me) put that issue aside and focus on other things.
My only problem is Joon Hyuk. I can't seem to like this guy. Tae Joon treats his wife worse, but I still have some sort of affection for him. But Joon Hyuk is not very likeable to me.
about Oh Ji-ho's character, Ohn Dal-soo, like I think some have mentioned here, it really reminds me of the drama Super Rookie, being as newbie in a company and there are people trying to underestimate his abilities, I really hope it will not be the case, and may his morals rule over, and avoid the temptations that await him...
about Bong-soon and Ji-ae, at first really I was still liking Ji-ae but after watching all the episodes that was aired, we could understand where Bong-soon was coming from, and why she was doing these things, after it was just discovered by Joonhyuk, I think it will go complicated, added by Tae-joon and So-hyun, I wonder how Ji-ae and Dalsoo will conquer all, by their love for each other, or by their own capabilities since you can also see a lot of power struggles in between the storyline...
Kim Nam-joo and Lee Hye-young nailed their roles perfectly, in fact they are good friends in real life so it may be hard at first to play characters that are pitted against each other, but it's just a drama anyway
minah I think I was the one haha...anyway the writer placed some elements from Get Karl into this drama, like the one you pointed out, but aside form the comedy, the side stories I think were written pretty well, but I hope it will stay like that all throughout ^ ^

currently watching episode 7, can't help but laugh at what Jung-won said to her mom when Ji-ae was trying to get her to sleep, "to set the mood" and also when Joonhyuk entered the room where JA brought Dalsoo some food and he said he wasn't hungry but he almost ate everything...lol! haven't finished watching yet but it gets more exciting

I haven't kept up with watching episodes 7 and 8 but will do so since I'll be on vacation ^ ^ I'm happy that it's now number 1 in the ratings and I'm waiting for it actually to happen as I enjoy the story so much ^ ^

Re COMPANY POLITICS, if this is of any help, here's the synopsis of director KIM and his wife JANG (or "Lady MacBeth" haha...):
Kim Hong-shik (age: 47, Young-sook’s husband / company director) / actor Kim Chang-wan
He is the company president’s right-hand man and handles all of the company affairs, including the slush fund set aside for bribing politicians. But he also keeps records every impropriety committed by the president. He plans to blow the whistle one day to force Tae-joon to resign in disgrace.
Jang Young-sook (age: 43, Wife of Hong-shik, a company director) / Nah Young Hee
As the wife of the company director, she has a charismatic personality.
She’s also the chairwoman of the Pyeonggang Women’s Social Club within the company and the most powerful woman among them.
If she dislikes any of the members, then that woman will be ostracized by all of the other members and the husband of that woman will never get promoted as well. But her rival and archenemy is So-hyun, the wife of the company president. She finds her to be intolerable because she is younger and shows no respect. She also can’t tolerate the way that So-hyun criticizes her in front of the wives of regular company employees. So she is waiting for an opportunity to get even with her.
I am sure KIM and JANG are in this together and that's why they are keeping tabs on TAE JOON.
currently watching Episode 6...I think the couple want Tae-joon out since they think he doesn't deserve to become company president, bcoz he is immature and doesn't think much about the welfare of the company, so they got surprised when TJ wanted to have an investigation on the food poisoning incident, maybe bcoz he saw Ji-ae beg on her knees to Bong-soon, might be for pity too I guess. and the couple might want to get more power as well

1. she knew where exactly the meeting room was
2. only her kid got poisoned
3. dalsu and ji ae recorded those who got surveyed
4. dalsu got photographic memory
5. they only gave out the surveyed goods produced by the Queens, so basically, the recipe department should be checked.

I've seen Episode 5 and I'm guessing that Bong-soon's husband also might have to do with it as he has also bad blood towards Dal-su, If I remember right there was a scene where Dal-soo rode an elevator then he saw him with another new employee, like he is telling something, this is just a hunch and I felt bad for Ji-ae and and Dal-soo even more...
I haven't seen tonight's yet episode as my connection went bad again after last night, so I just posted today...

here's my take on the last pics that I posted. I think Bong-soon consulted a doctor since she decided to do something on her face/plastic surgery. then she showed a picture of Ji-ae, maybe she said to the doctor that she wanted to be or at least to look like her
now re-watching episodes 3 and 4...the rivalry between ji-ae and Bong-soon gets fierce, and I'm now feeling pity towards Dal-soo, but I'm currently watching episode 4

I just finished checking the pages from 110 till 130 (still 10 pages to go for me) and I saw some pictures and interviews buried in this thread that I've never seen before, so adding these link would be very helpful.

lime, the problem is that I lurked in some other threads for other actors/actresses here, and I found them to be absolutely stylish and easy to use for new comers to the thread. I personally enjoyed Song Hye Kyo and Kang Ji Hwan threads a lot and kudos for those girls taking care of them ^^ check 'em out:
They have these amazing designs. And the most important thing is they have an index to important pictures, events, interviews and other stuff withing the thread itself. It's becoming really hard for me to look for any pictures and news in this thread (which is only 240 pages! then what will happen if it became 1000 something pages!). Unfortunately I'm totally clueless about photoshop (I just know the basics and the maximum thing I can reach is blending two pictures together and making a simple gif!). Like I tried doing that yesterday and that's what I got:
I still have a long way to go, but let's all join and start creating banners for the main page. We need to make a large banner as the main banner in this thread (with SIG's pictures on it), then we need to make banners for each section of this thread (preferably 300X100 pixs) for profile, movies, dramas, CFs, Fan Mad MVs, personal address, fan letters address, pictures, interviews... etc. You know, these type of stuff.
This is a photoshop tutorial I found in soompi and it was of a tremendous help to me to do that previous gif:
if anyone of us here have time and patience (or even better, know how to use photoshop and make banners) please help us with ideas and designs and hopefully we can keep this thread updated and colorful ^^ think of it as a project for all the SIGers

I'm not good in photoshop as well, I can lend a hand in collecting the info on the pages and organizing it into one page. though I currently manage a drama thread, which is not really easy also since you have to update it most of the time, for SIG I will volunteer for it ^ ^, Gabjumz can include my name on the list as well ^ ^
