  1. I will watched again. Unless she says explicitly that JC was killed while attempting murder, she does not know what happened. Viewers watched him do it.
  2. I watched the part when Chairman Yoon sneaked into the hospital to kill HJ and there was some tussle between them. She said that HJ was lured there but I did not catch her saying that JC was killed by HJ to defend herself. Ok will watch again.
  3. I did say I might have missed it. My FFW finger’s fault. How could HW guess that JC tried to kill her? She could have tried to kill him. We know he did but HW was guessing the correct scenario? How did she find out it was self defence? Just curious now because it makes HW a super sleuth. Only two people knew JC tried to kill her, JC & HJ. Even the caller to the escort guy wasn’t in the room where they fought.
  4. At present, what HW knows is that Ji Chang is dead when he met her sister who was bent on breaking up her family and killing her baby plus a host of other diabolical deeds. It would be natural to jump to that conclusion, even if it’s wrong. I might have missed it but she has not said anything that hints or implies that HJ is innocent and she is just being vicious to blame HJ. Not a scene. So she’s going against HJ for the belief that HJ killed JC. Unlike us viewers, the writer is keeping her ignorant, perhaps until a grand revelation. I just wish they didn't make it like Hye Won was so brave for pursuing the art MIL's death when really it was just grief and rage. I didn’t get the impression that she was rational and cool about clearing MIL’s name and getting her justice. It was hinged on her attachment to MIL as the mother-she-never-had. The MIL was more mother-child with JC and her relationship with her DIL was great, but still with reservations. However, It was heckava better than 99% of other MIL-DIL relationships. Her feelings for MIL seemed stronger from her side which explained to me why the previous writer put her on an avenging path. The new writer has changed it to JC’s death. HW hasn’t changed much, just her hairstyle and coats with football player pads in the last episode. I don’t think anyone could avoid running into someone who falls in front of the car. He would have died from the fall if not instantly, even with the miracle IV.
  5. This is kdrama which depends on the writer and rating. So anything goes, but if the writer decides to follow HW’s character, then would she forget everything else if she knew that JC’s death was due to his failed attempt to kill HJ? I don’t think she would let it slide. She would see HJ jailed, pay for her crimes, and then accept her as her sister. But I am ready for anything. I had watched “Tale of two sisters”. The baddie sister was a criminal, but she was almost canonised at the end. It can happen here. Murder is never right but he sounds more like avenging himself, for being made into a fool.
  6. HW has decided HJ is her enemy. If it’s not JC’s death then it’s the lift accident, if not the lift, it’s the deliberate car crash … HJ has done many things to peg herself as HW’s enemy, bent on destroying her family and killing her unborn child. So the truth that JC died because he tried to kill her would not make any change to her treatment of HJ as her enemy. That is the whole picture. I am not denying that HJ was fighting for her life, I am not HW. The Chairman blames HJ for JC’s death, I doubt if it would matter to him that she was defending herself. She had made a fool of him. JC’s death is another item in his list, right or wrong. But there are still many more episodes. She was still calling him ‘oppa’ during her visit.
  7. You are not getting the whole picture @LeftCoastOppa HJ is her enemy first before her sister. The details of the crimes are not accurate but HJ had inflicted her a lot of pain. Made her the target of her bile from day 1 of the series. If HJ had not been into her evil machinations, the kdrama gods may still let him live. So HJ may turn into goody-goody little sister but many will not forget that she had started it. That includes the aunt, father's sister. Blaming HW for what happened years ago? OK I can buy there. There are people I knew who are dead yet I am struggling to forgive them. There was no attempt to get the root of her problem by talking to her father. Why? She was evil. But being brought up by two bottom feeders could do it.
  8. Sorry to break the bad news @nohamahamoud2002 but JC has been dead for a few episodes, stone cold on the slab in the mortuary. No, it makes no sense. I hope there won’t be a HJ and HW’s ex romance. Jung-H is not just an ex but one who still has strong feelings for her - good or bad. I want to know how HW feels about SY. At least give us an idea to predict the ending. For it to be a kumbaya ending, HW and HJ must not share a man, so I don’t see JH being with either if HJ started dating him. Which means ML ends up with FL. Maybe JH with the lawyer. I only see HJ in jail at the end.
  9. DJ has her mum in her corner and SR has her mum in her corner. A more interesting fight now. There are 20 plus episodes left. There is only one secret i.e. Noel/DJ mother daughter. I think Grandma is now afflicted with something - subs needed. So we have time to see the mother-daughter evil duo caught and jailed. Don’t forget a wedding too.
  10. The old man is spotting a young hairstyle. He looks weird, like mutton dressed as lamb. We have another ‘imagine’ scene: HW smothering HJ in the preview.
  11. After he married her, according to him. It’s possible because only Shin and Cheong knew DJ was GE. And SR.
  12. I like the old HW. She chose “what’s right” over power or money which was why she wanted the tape of HJ instigating Lim’s murder, I think. It was stolen from her during the time tries to run her down. She would rather take the chances of her or YJ being hit by a scandal than let HJ off. JC and his grandma wanted to hide the tape so that YJ corp wouldn’t suffer a loss. Until she was threatened by the loss of her son. Then she mutated. Is she good or bad? My prediction is that she will be similar to Miss M, sticks to what is right and turn in HJ at the end. In the process she will not hesitate to do wrong - like the end justifies the mean. But I do agree @Lmangla, she does not wear dowdy clothes anymore and her make up is more polish. Turning the chairman into a grieving father seems off. In the earlier episodes he didn’t care much for JC. It was just him and his young mistress. But I need to rewind and remember ‘ new but old show’. The ML hasn’t much chance to show his acting skills. Not sure if I like the new lawyer with ML. Too obvious. Covered that “twitchy woman, show some Asian decorum and stop throwing yourself at him too much “
  13. A trusted lawyer of the old lady has incriminating evidence against chairman Yoon. I am guessing he’ll be the key when he fights HW for control.
  14. It’s becoming really crowded. They removed the old woman but added Chase Lee and a woman lawyer who’s hitting on the ML.
  15. Maybe the rating made them change the storyline? The fight between two sisters are going to be changed to the usual triangle from looks of it. Or a perhaps a pentagon, we must not forget the autistic stepbrother. Maybe HJ will fall for the new guy (could have been her brother-in-law). Then the corporate side, it’s HW vs CJE, she’s taking HJ’s place as the antagonist, looks like. The changes portend boredom and cliches. I hope I’m wrong.
  16. We’ll see if the writer likes ML or SML. it’s not HW who will decide. I said she could be ML’s first love. Whether he saw her before SML remains to be seen. Kdramas always have unforgettable scenes in their elementary school or kindergarten days.
  17. I can see a love triangle. Writers love that. Even if it were not the main couple. The first love is another trope. For the ML, it could well be it.
  18. But he wouldn’t be able to go through destroying her, first love and all that stuff. The guy was having flashbacks but none was on the day HJ tried to kill HW.
  19. If the old woman was in character, she would have HW killed and set it up to look like a suicide. Problems solved. Now we have two guys one woman instead of two sisters.
  20. Which is also filler @Ameera Ali. It does not help the development of the storyline. DJ assaulted her in the lockup, now she is being assaulted in Bobaejung. A duplicate.
