    Huhu i agree with you! i dont think i can bare to watch EH brokenhearted seeing DI with anyone else.

    His 7 years was enough. I hope DI will slowly seeing him more than a brother soon

    Happy to see this thread is getting more and more crowded filled with many love thoughts for this drama! Made me feel i'm not alone with all of these mushy feeling after watching all the episodes. :wub:

     

    I really really love the plot in this drama, very promising! hoping the story development will go even better in the latter episodes. Im rooting for the main leads!! So curious to see EH reaction when he knows about SJ and DI 'casual' relationship :P

     

    anyone knows about the rating for this drama? Just curious..

    anyway, hello everyone! Out of curiosity (due to promising premise) i watched episode 1-2 and my oh my i just instantly hooked up! Hoped the rest of the episode will be more and more interesting; love it too cause it was pre produced (got my bench mark from DOTS and goblin which i love so much). Thanks for the recapp too!

    I think KES knew very well what she did with her script and what story had planned to tell from the get go...it's not the case of a writer going lala land in her last episodes just because she "lost it" like some stories leave us be and wonder what happened with the writer to end her stories and characters...Many say and u can correct me but i heard that writers start first with the ending or at least that how are they taught to do ...I think she knew from the start Eun Tak will die and gave us hints here and there...If u think about it the bittersweet ending for our Goblin couple is quite in tune with the overwall fell of the show...This one was one of KES deepest dramas she did till now and every word spoken has it's deep meaning and why it is said so for sure this one can't be added in the type of superficial dramas that lack all sense,being all fluff without content...

     

     

    I can say i'm quite sad that Shin lost his one single true friend,that is one think i really am sad about...

     

    Also hope to see Lee Dong Wook soon in another great project,adored the way he gave life to Wang Yo/Reaper,love his expressions and the way he acted him(the way he spoke) and hope for a complex character in next drama...

     

    Thank you pointing that one out, i guess you're right. I'm not saying it like i didnt like this drama, it was still the best drama i've watched to date with all the deep meaning, great quotes, cinematography etc. And yes, i agree the hints are always there maybe i was the one who neglected it in hoping they'll come as fluffy and warm ending. So i was deceived by my own thoughts. Lol. After letting the ending sinking in and watching the episodes again it was my conclusion for myself. Even before watching it i actually already preparing myself with the bittersweet ending but it didnt really worked out the way i wanted it to be at the end ^_^

    Yeahh, I'm too waiting for another epic project from our leads! They will be on top of my watching list starting now for sure! Especially the swooning Gong Yoo :wub:

    Juat woke up and went straight to this forum and suddenly feeling all sad again reading all the analysis with the ost playing in the background.

    But to think of it, i just realised that most of the ost are mellow songs... it really support this bittersweet ending. Goblin was the very first drama that had me crying my tears out and left me so invested to the point I cant help to not picture KS loong long sad life and feel extremely devastated about it. Made me realizes that life isnt fair but we have our choices, yet like the ahjussi in the last scene (the one that gave KS sandwich) that life will get better some later time in life.

    I think i will have a hard Goblin-Ending-Withdrawal. Kinda need GR to erase my sad visualisation of KS lonely and sad waiting that i have in my head.

    Still cant let go of the ending for ShinTak..... sorry for my mood swings and ramble. But i cant help to not be sad for KS. Eventho ET death is unavoidable but.... still...... :tears: to know that he'll get through that pain of loosing ET again and again not to mention the years of waiting. 

    Eventho it was his choice to be that way, but still..... why it have to be this bittersweet?! In my head i'm still replaying thousand and thousands of alternate endings that i prefer it to be. Hufff. I guess tonight i'll be having a hard time sleeping.

    While as a steadfast ShinTak shipper I wish there could've been more, I do find what was aired beautiful in its own way.  3 more lifetimes together to figure out how to be together, 3 more lifetimes to nurture their love and relationship, and finally reap what benefits they can from it.  I'm ok with imagining that. 

    Many thanks to all who have been so helpful in posting reviews, clips, live recaps, pics, etc. You've all made watching this drama even more enjoyable than it already was. I'm both sad and relieved this journey has come to an end, bc while I loved the actors, production, storyline, music and just about everything else, I really need my life back. 

    So thanks again, and i hope to see you all whenever another drama sucks me in enough to keep coming back to the forums everyday for updates. It's been one hell of an awesome ride. 

     

     

    Agree with you too.... after letting the ending sinking in it's kind of beautiful in it's own way. Bittersweet, yes, but.... literally sad love.

     

    i'd like to say thank you too for all the goblin's troops here! it was indeed one hell of a ride to spazz with you guys. Let us dream and have our own version of ShinTak happy ending in our head. I hope this thread will be still alive and kicking for the special episodes as they said to have new clips to air so i have someone to spazz with :tongue:
