    For me personally this was the best episode so far. It had everything one could wish for in a drama: there was comedy, action, cute/romantic scenes and a good, solid plot. Healer keeps getting better and better with each episode. I’m enjoying it so much that the wait for next episode will be excruciatingly painful. Seriously though, bad rating can go to hell, if this show’s gonna be as good as it is now, I’m one happy viewer. :x :-bd

    Good morning nateko,

    Thank you for responding. Do Ji-won is Choi Myung-hee, KMS's wife, and KMH's sister-in-law. Yeon-hee is the abused woman (in the car, in ep.2) who attempted suicide, and was rescued by CYS. The name of the actress is not listed among the actors/actresses on either AsianWiki or Wikipedia, so I am having a hard time finding out who she is. I feel that I have seen her somewhere, however. And I do know that DJW and JCW were together (playing mother and son) in the drama "Smile Donghae." I watched that drama 3 years ago :-)

    Also, do you please know the name of the actress who plays younger Choi Myung-hee?

    @amvondo She sprayed her face with water to appear sick. When people are in great pain they usually sweat, she was trying to fake that.

    @valsava I think Moon Ho wanted to know how Young Shin was being treated in her adoptive family throughout the years. If she was abused, I think he'd take actions to protect her and punish her adoptive family if they indeed were abusive. Also, it was said that Young Shin was 5 when they found her near the trash cans. After that she was sent to orhpanage multiple times. She was adopted, but they gave her back. Then she was adopted again and that's when her adoptive parents abused her and broke her ribs. She was 7 when she wanted to commit suicide because that's when they beat her up to the point where she had broken ribs, so it's not related to whoever abandoned her.

    Hello, everyone! I’m a newbie here, finally couldn’t take it anymore and had to delurk. :-h  Just wanted to say that this drama is so freaking awesome. I know you all probably heard it quite a lot already but I just had to say it yet again. I’m just so happy to finally find such a wonderful drama that makes me smile and truly feel for the characters, since all the other dramas that I’ve watched for the past half a year or even more were somewhat lackluster. Even though I saw and liked the Taiwanese version (not including the main male character, I hated him with a passion) the Korean version simply swept me off my feet from the get go. So far I’m very satisfied with this remake and appreciate the actors’ and scriptwriter’s efforts. To be completely honest, I couldn’t even imagine that they could pull it off so well yet alone surpass the original, so I couldn’t be happier. :x

    So far all of the characters feel quite real and relatable. I can actually understand the motivations behind their actions and none of them appear to be evil plot devices without any depth or simply douchebags. 


    I really like that at least for now Daniel isn’t interested in MY romantically. I liked his backstory, which gave me an opportunity to understand his willingness to protect MY. He’s been searching for his long lost sister not losing faith despite continuous failure. He’s accomplished enough in his life and even though others might’ve given up already, he still goes further in his efforts to find his precious sibling. I actually think that grandma Wang had something to do with him becoming well known and successful in the design industry. Maybe she saw something special in him and supported him and that’s why they have such a special bond. I really liked how they showed Daniel to be a really nice guy. He wasn’t afraid to talk and help MY even after he’d known that she’s a pregnant woman and later that she’s married. I’ve seen enough men who avoided women with children like a plague, so it was refreshing to see him unaffected by MY’s pregnancy. For him she was simply a girl who had suffered enough and was having a difficult time in her life, so he tried to comfort her the best he could. I guess he might have thought of his long lost sister when he first met MY. I can imagine such thoughts going through his head: What if his sister is suffering too? What if his sister is going through the same thing MY is going through? What if his sister has no one to lean on just like MY?  Etc. If you think about Daniel as a guy who had lost his younger sister and doesn’t know where she is or what life she has, his motivation, his actions become very clear and shine through his flashy exterior. Not to mention that MY shares the same name with his sister. I don’t think that Daniel considers the possibility of MY truly being his biological sister, but he must feel the need to support and help her, hoping that there will be someone helping his sister in the times of need just like he is there for MY.


    I love Gun as well. He’s a nice guy though he can be mean from time to time. From what I can see, he’s a person easily swayed by emotions that occur on the spur of a moment, but the next day his emotions die down and it’s only his head that remembers that he needs to be angry, not his heart. He was angry with MY but later on the anger subsided, he didn’t like it and tried to maintain his cold exterior, because his mind told him that he kinda needed to be angry.  That’s why his sudden change of heart towards MY doesn’t feel so sudden, at least to me. He’s a nice guy through and through, his heart is in the right place and his emotions are spot on, it’s just that he’s too stubborn and tries to hold on the past feelings that were true some time ago but not anymore. Just like his love for Sera. He must have been head over heels in love with her but right know it seems that there’s only leftover feelings of that love that Gun tries to hang on to for dear life. The girl left him before only to return for a couple of days and leave him once more even though she knew that he wanted to propose to her. There’s only this long a love can survive with only one person cherishing it and actively keeping it alive. It’s not enough to light a fire, you need to keep it burning for it to survive. That's what Sera failed to do, because she was sure that Gun's love for her can sustain itself without her making an effort. Gun’s love for Sera and Sera herself are much idealized and far from reality. Just look at the way he described Sera when choosing a ring for her. That was some different Sera from what we saw, whilst with MY what he sees is what he gets literally. She stays true to herself, without the need to glamorize or change anything about her, her family or her origins. MY is exactly the way you see her. She’s sweet, sincere and honest, and that’s why everyone can’t help but love her. She is simply adorable and adorable in her simplicity.  :x

    Electronic rock band Nell released the teaser for their latest single from the drama “Two Weeks” OST through the official Sony Music Korea YouTube channel.

    The teaser is for the song “Run” which will be Lee Joon Ki‘s character’s theme song. The teaser previews a combination of Nell’s upbeat rock style with Lee Joon Ki’s exciting action scenes. 

    “Two Weeks” is a mini series drama on MBC that aired its first episode on August 7. Kim So Yeon, Ryu Soo Young and Park Ha Sun join Lee Joon Ki in the drama about a man who thinks he has a meaningless life until he gets framed for murder and discovers he has a young daughter with leukemia.

    Nell most recently promoted their catchy track “Ocean of Light.”

    NELL released a trailer for their new single "Ocean of Light":

    Although Nell was previously scheduled to join the May comeback rush, it seems fans will have to wait until this June!

    To thank fans for the wait, the band gave them a sneak peek at what's to come with their trailer for their new title track "Ocean of Light". The band interprets the title of the upcoming single literally by playing in an 'ocean of light'.

    Woollim Entertainment stated, "In the released video trailer, Nell passionately play their instruments inside the ocean. Although it's a short trailer, the cinematography fits with the dreamy vibe of the music, further drawing interest in their comeback."

    Nell is gearing up for a return with part 2 of their three-part album series titled 'Gravity'. The group will also perform at the upcoming 'Rainbow Festival' and 'Ansan Valley Rock Festival' this summer.

    In response to this, Woollim Entertainment said, “Every rock festival in Korea requested their appearance. They’re trying to attend as many rock festivals as possible to meet with their fans. But realistically, it’s not possible to attend everything, so they feel disappointed about it.”

    So far, Nell has confirmed their attendance for the Rainbow Festival and the Insan Valley Rock Festival in June and July, and they’ll be performing their hits like “Time to Walk Memories” and “White Night“.

    In addition to practicing for the upcoming events, they’re also busy with preparing for their comeback this month with the second part of their 3 part ‘Gravity’ album series.

    The ladies of Goryeo are a tough bunch. Definitely not easy to deal with.
    Wonder if Choi Young needs to get drunk too, he does like to drink a lot I notice.
