    I'm not disliking her in a bad way, just my inner fangirling always take any kind of threats to OTP in a protective way. Lol. 

     

    Of course its a good thing for NQ to grow up and realize his feeling but then its also not fair to SS. Just kind wish that SS was able to experience some sort of relationship with someone else than NQ too as she's always stuck with him. He goes got to hang out with his colleges while she always home. I wanted her to experience the world by herself a bit too and not just see it thru NQ's eyes.

    Will it be in the drama too? Or just in the novel. I know there's that one scene where they were fighting because she wanted to get marry and his pissed off face was to die for but for the whole town to ask for her hand...now I wanted to see how he would  react to that hahaha

    NQ was playing with SS’s hands when he realize that she was his life totem/object etc. It was really sweet and touching to me (I am thinking —as an auntie — to these youngsters: ahhh you babies don’t even realize your feelings or the depth of emotions you have for each other yet lol 

     

    Sniff...yes that was one of the best moment of them. They don't realize their feeling yet so I know my heart will definitely be breaking when MSS come into the pic later on. Sigh...those poor babies or poor Sang Sang, really. :bawling:

    In my case, I like the part when the Emperor and his officials were looking for NQ (he told everyone to write the same poem :D ). Then, one of the officials (YS's younger brother?) said that the writer must be a young man who knew kungfu, but the head of secret guard said that it should be an old guy *LOL* . The Emperor then said,"I didnt know that you understand about hand-writing analysis" ..hahaha

     

    I thought that too. She looks very pretty with the red lipstick and I wish she fangirl more to get a reaction from Ning Que hahaha.

    Because of Ever Night, I've become one of his die-hard fans. When I saw this on Viki, I was like skeptical about it but told myself to just try at least 2 ep and yes I was hooked on it because of how natural the leads were.  I watched CFY before knowing about his background, like how his dad is a famous director and all that,  him being born a silver spoon. I was like REALLY? and he acted so humble and like a really dedicated actor, who just wanted to brings out the best in his character thru his acting. 

     

    CFY is a good actor as a newbie and I can see that his future is promising. I love him with SYR, even though she is older, I can't feel that. I love their height difference and their fresh face. Sometimes it's really tiring to see all the pretty boy or beauty in the entertainment/ dramaland and seeing these two young actor/actress, just brings out the raw feeling in the viewers/drama.

    You know what,  that's true. Although I know that CFY did not use his father or connection for the role and he worked hard on this character, the production would be really stupid to replace him with a more popular actor with a bigger fanbase. Because in the acting dept, CFY won 100 % and as NQ. 

     

    So yes, it would be a big insult to him and his parents. I'm just praying for this rumor to get resolve soon becauae DW fanclub are really sure that he got the role.

CFY, although he was born with silver spoon, but he really took his character by heart and even willing to get dirty just to perfectly portrays NQ image. And take note: he doesn't look like he has  make ups on. No filter. Including SS.

    So what if he was born with a silver spoon. He doesn't act all high and mighty like some people that became famous and acted like they're all that. He can't help how he was born and yes he worked his butt off, the drama is living proof. A good and pretty face can't move people heart unless they're good at acting. 

     

    Song YiRen is also a natural at everything from her personality to her beauty. She is plain at first glance but she is a hidden gem if you keep on looking at her. 

     

    Why I love CFY and SYR is that they are so natural, generic and down to earth. They're so different from other couples.

I thought it will be a bad move because the current NQ has already established his standard and he is more suitable to the character than pretty boy Dylan. If they will change the ML, I'm not watching Season 2. Just going to finish S1 then just read the whole novel and  preserve NQ and SS image in my heart and mind. Sigh...:( :( I did not even watch the remake of Meteor Garden because of the ML. So disappointed...;( ;( ;( I hope the show  will go down to drain if they change the ML's. 

    I've never liked DW portray as DMS and only watched 1 ep before I stop watching because its over exaggerating in the acting dept. 

     

    Agreed with you. Chen FeiYu is NQ and the image of him as NQ id already embedded in my mind so please no replacement.
