I wrote this sentence because shippers are insulting her hardcore fans on twitter " Yes, these damn hard-core fans/trolls, that shippers insulted because we don't care about her personal life, do that for her, every single drama" when they are nothing but talk.

It's not surprising because public=/= fandom. And there is likely mainly 1 fandom supporting this. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think KRW's dramas had Dcuts before like Punch or ATDP because the actors don't have big fandom even the dramas were well-received.
It's easy to turn on the TV or comment but spending $200 to almost $400 on DVDs... only the hardcore fans do that. I buy all the DVD no matter who is her costar and I know many PSH fans do that. Yes, these damn hard-core fans/trolls, that shippers insulted because we don't care about her personal life, do that for her, every single drama.
But we usually have other fandoms supported during YB (JGS,HK, JYH), HS (JYH), Heirs( LMH,Krystal,KWB...), and Pinocchio (LJS)... But it might not like that this time.
Ask yourself how many of you are supporting the Dcuts even if you are posting here regularly? All I see was people saying they will wait for someone to share, right?
This looks like a shipper thread now with people can't differentiate the actors and characters anymore....
But have you opened your pocket to support your OTP or it's all cheap crazy talk?
If you can afford , please try to make an effort. If not there is no OTP moment or extra kiss scene for you to spazz in the next few months.

It was hallyu award... SMA isn't really that strong in Hallyu compared to PSH/SHK/JJH. Plus DOTS, Doctors were more popular than OMV in Korea too so everyone was confused... But it's likely SHK doesn't want to attend is the main reason
I'm saying Doctors likely isn't qualified since it's just ended 2 weeks ago... The cut off time is prob months before ... But it's nice for them to mention Shinhye too

Both of them were surprised because they didn't know about that award and the speaker didn't work when they called Shinhye's name, even we heard it on the video there was no sound of her name in the fancam... So she was confused for a minute too

It's at the end of the award. Many people leave after they got their awards... PSH and KRW were the only ones who stayed until the end at their table so I'm sure they had a little talk.

That's article is obviously not reliable or correct. We shouldn't even bother or post. They just wrote non-sense
1. Doctors and W aren't in the same time slot
2. Doctors has always had higher rating ( W's yesterday rating was around 11%)
3. Even CPI, Doctors has been doing better. We are either #1 or #2 after IC or another kbs variety show
W is the most talked drama and has a lot of hype online. Just that whoever wrote that article didn't have the correct information at all and there is no source.
Please do not spread it when you see incorrect information.

In case you don't know LSK and Shinhye are both close friend with Roco ( the other friend in this trip) and we can say SHR is one of their mutual friend as well.
Shinhye wouldn't be sad when she is with people she loves... She would be when she is alone and thinking too much...

Timing is different.
20% rating 10 years ago might not be consider huge.
But today it is because less and less people watching TV compared to 10 years ago.
For example Stairway to heaven got 45% in the same year with Rooftop Room Cat- 2003. And a year later, Dae Jang Geum got almost 60%. It's almost impossible to have this kind of ratings these days...
And rating didn't do very well in 2014 -early 2015. but it got better toward the end of 2015. Like Punch and Pinocchio could have gotten better rating if they aired at this time. It was a depressed time for Korea dramas
Overall KRW's dramas do well.
But Doctors is giving him his 2nd peak showing that it's done better than his other older dramas in between.
Doctors is the 2nd drama that broke 20% with 4 more months left for 2016, where there are many more in 2013... Like Good Doctors, Horse doctors, Queen of Ambition, Empress Ki, Master's Sun, IHYV, Heirs, YWCFTS,etc...
I just want to explain the 20% today and 10 years ago aren't the same so you shouldn't use it as a mark. 20% now can be considered close to 40% 10 years ago

STH was a huge hit and she got so popular and winning child actress awards for her very 1st acting role. The drama also changed her career direction and she decided to become an actress instead. The rest is history
She never debuted as an idol but she did have some singing and dancing training when she was really young as she debuted in STH when she was 13. You can find a lot of her dancing videos and she sings for her drama OST sometimes.
There are reasons why Productions want idols in their dramas even they can't act well: big hype, interest and high selling price from oversea and their big fan base's support. We are talking about business and profit here, especially one aiming for hallyu
It's also the reason that make PSH is unique place as an actress. She is the only young actress she has big fan base, hallyu and selling power even more than most idols along with her acting skill and Korea public love her. She lacks nothing.

I guess, an actress is someone who acts, a singer someone who sings, but what does an idol do?

In Korea, idols are people that have good visual and do everything from singing, dancing variety show to acting etc... but singing and dancing should be their main things. They usually have strong fanbase and support
Actors mostly focus on acting unless they are interested in other fields ( like JGS SJS when they aren't acting- and it's mostly not for money-making purpose but their personal interests) Some actors are regulars for variety show too like CTH, LSG, and ones in RM but often not the Alist ones while most only likely to do it when promoting their projects. And hallyu actors sings at the FMs.
Their fanbase are a bit difference... They aren't as obsessed except Hallyu stars lol
But Actors are placed way above idols
And many idols want to get into acting because 1. idol is a temp career most want to end with an acting career after 2. Acting get paid more and help them to gain a lot more popularity and income through CF( suzy, yoona, hyeri)
PSH is an actress. Period.
She has been acting since she was 13. And like most child actor/actresses she has a sweet and lovely image and is loved and protected by many, just like MGY, YSH and current child actresses are transforming to actresses KSH KJY or child actor YJG
Speaking well or have good image doesn't mean she isn't an actress, In fact most actresses have better and elegant images while idols have more sexy and "less smart" ones
Suzy is a most loved idol for her beauty but when they compare her to shinhye.... They aren't the same in knet's eyes

Inha is no where close to typical heroin. Just because she doesn't have high IG or beating people doesn't mean she isn't a strong person. In fact she never waited for anyone to save her. She always defend herself first
She called her beloved mother trash in her press conference How weak and typical can she be, right?
PHR, Pino writer, is by far a much better writer than HMH, who wrote Doctors. I always look forward to her projects. Her female leads are awesome.
They have a perfect cast too. You won't be disappointed
TOH is a a melo drama so it's very heart breaking but the role is more of typical heroin than any anything lol because it was made 10 years ago and it's 1st lead role was offered to her.
It's a sad drama with great acting. I was impressed and became her fan because she can do so well at 16
You can try Flower boy next door. It's also slice of life drama and Dokmi is one of my fav roles of her too

Maybe because I follow Shinhye but... there are some brutally honest people around her.
JGS, HongKi, Heechul and LJS are all too honest for their own good and they are popular as well. 2 of them are actors
So it's not that rare...
I'm sure Shinhye loves that though because she is quite straighforward herself and some of those people are extremely close to her but she is good/smart with speaking and usually keep it safer when it's in pubic/interviews
I'm sure YHJ hold a special place in her heart
It's normal to her fans as she is usually has a hard time letting go of her characters... Some are harder than other. Sometimes it could takes her months and have to learn new things to distract herself. But this time she will be busy filming soon
If we have a hard time letting it go it'd be much harder for her

Look at KSH and KYJ, the only way for the child actresses to be able to get lead roles early is paring them with much older actors... That's how it was for PSH in her earlier years. YB (2009) was the 1st project Shinhye was able to work with same/similar age actors as leads
And I also explained age gap is a big topic this year but thankfully KRW and PSH always have the support even before Doctors

For the record she worked with many older actors (like in If Wait for the Next Train Again , Cute or Crazy , Seoul 1945) before but I will only list one that she was paired as main leads
Tree of Heaven- Lee Was was 6 years older when she was 15 almost 16
Goong S- Se7en was also 6 years older when she was 17
Kimcheed Radish Cubes- Joo Sang Wook was 12 years older when she was 17
She has also worked/paired with Go Soo (11 years older, last year) and Umh force (16 years older in 2010) in her movies even her movies don't usually have much focus on the love line
So I doubt the problem is her lol
Also it's normal to many casual fans not used to her pairing with someone much older since most ifans are love younger flower boys and in the last 7 years she has been paring with many of them...
But I don't see many of her fans who following her news everyday have problem with it.

His interviews weren't just about Shinhye. He talked a lot of things. The PD's mistake was on top of Naver yesterday though.
But most people translated Shinhye parts first since it's the juiciest part for them.
Hopefully our translators could help to translate his and later her interviews, as well as other cast...
