I don't know if I have to post this but this is just to calm down some FDs who are currently panicking. I am putting it on spoiler - open if you want and don't throw stones at me, okay?
apparently, big news on baidu regarding LT having a new relationship with another singer. I don't go to any other site but for the sake of those who are beginning to lost their minds and their loyalty, somebody please verify. I really try not to get involved but I hope you all understand.[spoiler./]

@lovinsorara - I think he is also worried about Sora giving up her career while she's at her peak? I remember he was concerned about that issued during Strong Heart when an athlete married his wife who was then a striving actress. The athlete said he felt sorry for his wife that he has to sacrifice by choosing being married to him than pursuing her career as an actress.
BTW - did you just address me as sensei? I am one of you guys - no senior, no junior.

I'm quite surprised that SM didn't say anything against this news - they usually deny anything and everything about their people. SungMin is my SJ bias and I am so proud and happy for his decision - once again - you're the man, SungMin!!! When are we going to hear from you, Park JungSoo?
On a related matter - a friendly reminder to FDs - please continue to abide by soompi rules. Although I seldom post, I am always here browsing and sometimes I read observations that shouldn't be posted. Please remember, it is against soompi rules to make unnecessary comments about other couple, particularly those in WGM like our couple. I am also a fan of another couple and what I am saying here now, I also tell that fandom. If you don't like another couple, please keep the comment to yourselves - moderators visit shipper threads a lot and they read - yes, they do - and give warnings if they have to and sometimes they don't. So if you want to keep this thread open, please go a few pages back (or probably on page 1 of this thread) and read the soompi rules. Additionally, we won't like it if we read something we don't like about TeukSora, right?

SungMin is my bias in SuJu - and I am glad he is man enough to admit his relationship. He is old enough to know what to do with his life. I am just hoping his enlistment won't be a hindrance.
In the meantime - back to our couple - I got nothing else to say.
@lolowaw and other FDs who are from that part of the world who are currently suffering from pain - I hope and pray that you, your family and the rest of the Iraqi's are safe and in good health.

I've been busy moving to another location and didn't get the chance to respond until now. So here's the criminal being sought by authorities - the only thing lacking was serving the summons and complaint.
I didn't know my opinion would cause people to hate me - I am not a fan of either Jang Hyuk or Choi Jin Hyuk - but - I watched a lot of their dramas - especially if their dramas are good. I made a comment on a particular episode - but didn't mean to put anybody down.
I don't know why I was singled out when there were harsher posts (mine was not even harsh, I believe, because I am not one to cause trouble) that seem like almost throwing stones at each other. Anyway, I am no trouble-maker, I did not become a legend in soompi for nothing - I know the rules and in some fandoms I was and continue to be a member of, I try to be the police and I gained a lot of friends who respect me through them. This is for someone who said 'you know who you are' - and yes, I know who I am and I am not in hiding
I don't even know why I am explaining myself - feels like I am sitting in a courtroom being tried. I am not even getting paid for doing a rebuttal but I am doing it.
Did I offend anybody? I don't know - this is a public forum and everybody is entitled to voice their own opinions. I am here not because I am a fan of Jang Hyuk or Jang Nara - I am here because I love the drama and I love how the characters are portrayed. There are lots of threads in soompi whose members try to kill each other with words. I didn't know I did that. If I did - maybe I should say 'sorry' - even tho' I am not sure.
Well, since I would be away from the internet for a while - I am bidding FTLY forum goodbye - nice reading those intelligent opinions and insights from some wonderful members. Believe me, I treasure them all and appreciate them.
I will, however, continue to support the snail couple from far - just like what Geun is doing to MY.
BTW - if I want to call the attention of someone, I would PM that person - best and respectful way - IMHO. [spoiler./]

Like most of the members here, I would rather than MY be honest with Daniel. In the beginning when they were at the exhibit and were partying with some friends, she allowed Daniel and their friends to believe they are in a relationship. She should have stopped them when they started asking about 'when the first kiss happened'; also, when she was asked by reporters if she is in a relationship and she laughed a little bit while looking at Daniel. She also held hands with him while in the car.
Inasmuch as I hate to admit they 'might' be in an unsure relationship at the moment, MY should be the first to clear that. Daniel's actions are comfortable - like he is on first base. Although when he was talking to Geun, he was not able to tell him exactly what their relationship is, except that 'he likes MY and she is precious to him'. Additionally, in the conversation they had with the person who helped in the exhibit (in episode 13), Daniel's answer to the person when he tried to nose around about their status, was "I am still trying to win her over'.
My hope, Yong be persistent, with the help of MY family, to accept the job from Jang In before she leaves for France. This should give her a chance to find out what Geun had been through while she was gone. She don't necessarily have to be with Geun - yet - I want her to find it out for herself - and then run and comfort Geun. But this probably won't happen soon - maybe - episode 18?? Just hoping ......
In the meantime - Geunie-ssi - just continue being in denial - you are hurting not only yourself - but me as well - can't stand seeing you hurt!!

MY's mind is all focused on Geun even tho' she is trying her best to avoid him. Her mind says 'stay away' but her heart is clearly saying something else - why would even imagine in bed that you were talking to him if you're not interested anymore.
The proposal? Looks like this version is trying to lean a little bit on the original. Daniel can pursue but like what someone posted earlier, MY is NOT into him.
Geun is not trying to avoid marriage - he just didn't want to marry anyone - his heart is aching and longing for his wife (not ex because they clearly haven't divorced, as of yet). Like what I have mentioned earlier, I am still hoping for Geun to continue visiting his cave and go through every single thing that was left there when they were separated and find the biggest ammo he has - the unsigned and unfiled divorced documents - including that of Sera's.
No one would be able to take the company away from Geun. Even the elders were happy that the company has been progressing so fast. The mistress wants Yong to have it - but according to the elder, unless he produces a son, then he'll stay where he is - plain manager. Yong is not ready and I bet the scene at the matching date was a set-up by Yong and MY's friend.
I don't see Sera pursuing Geun again. I'm glad the K-version didn't show a bad second lead. Sera, at this point, being Geun's friend, might even be able to help MY and Geun get back together.

Everyone noticed the changed in Geun and MY's hairstyles - but no one noticed MY omma's new hairstyle.

Who else other than Jang Hyuk can do a comedy, tear-jerker and action in one episode of a drama? Noone! He did it all - and not only that - he added some rugged sexiness and charisma while doing all the above. He completely wiped out the presence of CJH - or Daniel. Daniel might look delicious but - he lacks the IT!! Sorry to the Daniel fans - ^
^ ^^ This drama is getting better each episode - and trying to be completely on a different route from the other version - and that's what makes it better.

Can I applaud the writer-nim for the opening of the last episode - not just because one of the members of my fave g.o.d. was in it but the rap part would soon be referenced in what Lee Geun was feeling for MY - and this was explained by @shengvang's post above.
Lee Geun might let her go - again - with the notion that she would be better without him (and respect what she wanted - not to see his face again). Would this be another sacrifice by LeeGeun?
MY would definitely continue to keep her distance from LG because she knows nothing about LG's own sacrifice. All she knew was, he wanted them apart. They would probably undergo another hurtful separation; however, I am guessing when they reunite the second time, it would be MY who would voluntarily come back - once she finds out the whole truth. Someone or somebody, at least, would leak LG's secret to MY at some point in time.
DP and MY? MY never had any interest in him to begin with - and I don't think she would even get close to him out of revenge or just to hurt LG.

After seeing LeeGeun's return at the airport, I didn't expect him to be wacky again! The male lead character in this version is a lot, lot, lot better. The funny stuff I see here, didn't see there. Jang Hyuk is one good actor - and sizzling with appeal too!!!!
I love the spying scenes - and of course, the rapping from one g.o.d. song

I just returned from my Korean class and came to this thread to read - I ended up laughing like a fool and awarding 'laugh' points because of comments and pictures of LeeGeun acting like a spy!

Daniel officially proposing to MY? That wouldn't be fun - and K-version would just be following T-version. And if MY accepts just to use Daniel, then definitely a carbon copy.
What I wanted to see is Geun going back to his cave and start digging on every document he has in that room. I'm sure he'll find the unsigned and fake divorce documents from 3 years back.
BTW - with the transformation, how did he know it was MY?

Based on that interview at the airport (thanks @gumi for the translation), Geun still has feelings for ex-wife (or probably cannot call her ex-wife since there was no divorce evidence - as of yet) and his character would be a little bit subtle. Well, with the haircut which brings a new image, a horrible laugh won't fit in. He didn't say tho' if he is going to chase after her - or if she will chase after him.
Live filming or not, my focus is on the story - and how the actors portray their roles.

The writer has taken a different route when Geun and Sera broke up before the separation of MY and Geun. In the T-version, Anna stayed with the male lead and even grandma accepted her - and they were supposed to get married until female lead came back. I'm glad the writer is not following the other version exactly as it is.
Also, I've been hoping MY don't even get too close to Daniel - I don't want her reputation ruined just like the other version - even for revenge.

Sorry this might be a late post but this thought came to mind while trying to get some sleep at 3am - this is how badly FTLY has affected me.
The topic - Geun and his statement - '3-year being chaste' (not verbatim). I think what Geun was referring to is '3-months being chaste'. At the time of the miscarriage, the fetus was 3-months old - meaning, Geun knows he had 'sex' 3 months ago - in Macau - the last time for him and now being next to MY in bed is really bugging him because he can't do anything.
Again, sorry if this doesn't make sense at all - or - if I am digging an old grave.

I don't believe Daniel will pursue MY now that she has returned. He already gave MY some encouraging words after the break-up and told her he would do anything to help her move forward by going to the design school in Paris. I think Daniel already saw MY's heart and I hope he don't get too persistent like Dylan in the T-version.
The question now is - how would MY know what was in Geun's heart when they broke up? How would Geun redeem himself in the event he wanted to get MY back? Would Secretary Tak know everything about Geun?
One thing I know is certain - the divorce document(s) remain unread - and it might turn out - MY and Geun are still married - after all those years they were separated.

Did I miss something about Geun taking a test and Dr. Octopus not telling him the results? In earlier episodes (not sure which one), Dr. Octopus told Geun 'he is still in remission' - and so far nothing has happened'. I am confused more on this.
In the T-version, the female lead played hard-to-get because she was so angry at the male lead thinking he did not really want the baby so he signed the consent to abort in front of her. In this version, MY's character is so compassionate - she didn't show anger on Geun even after learning the fetus was gone. Having seen both versions, the characters of the female leads on both dramas are different. JNR is awesome in portraying the character of a girl with a real big heart. Her character is very consistent no matter who she is around her. The tone of her voice never changed - and that's why others think she is boring. I find JNR's portrayal of MY character a lot better than the other version.
In sum, I hope there is not a 180 degree change in MY's true nature - by giving Geun a hard time next time they meet. She once said - 'if it is not Geun, there will be no one else.' And I don't believe Geun would run after her like crazy either - we all witness the Geun character - not very open on what he feels - unless PD-writers want to put some comedic approach on the reunion.
Just curious - with the new hairstyle - will there be a new sound of laugh?
