  1. I know it’s a little late for sharing but I just got back from Seoul.  I was debating whether I should write anything but a promise is a promise so this is for you @pixie0622 @kiklaminHo

The truth is that I had already accepted the fact that I wouldn’t be going to “Minoz Mansion” but then my “The Day” album arrived and inside was a high touch ticket.  I knew then that I had to go no matter what and since I live so far away this was probably a once in a lifetime chance.

A friend who had already been to a high touch event gave me some tips how to maximize the opportunity but everything happened so fast you don’t really have much time to react and I still feel as if it was a dream.  It took me a few days to internalize what had happened.

The high touch event was scheduled for 6:00 and we were supposed to line up around 15 minutes before if I remember correctly.  Thanks to my precious Korean friend I was first in line.  All the high touch winners were brought into the venue and seated inside. We were told not to take pictures and some additional instructions in Korean which I didn’t understand.  Then the first two rows (I think) were told to line up in front of the stairs to the stage.  As we started walking, all of the sudden everyone started laughing. I quickly realized they were laughing because I was first and just to make sure I asked the fan behind me who confirmed what I thought.  I was probably one of the few, if not the only, non-Asian fan there, on top of that I was first. After about half a minute the bodyguard at the top of the stairs asked everyone to be quiet. Then the big moment came.  We knew Minho was coming because we could see his feet under the curtain.  The whole atmosphere changed in seconds and the excitement level shot out the roof.  Once Minho took his position the bodyguard told me to go forward.  For a few glorious moments there was nothing and no one who blocked my view as I walked towards him.  As soon as I reached him the rest happened so fast I wasn’t sure what happened. The bodyguards started saying “pali, pali” and pushing me forward.  I remember touching his hand and looking at his face. I barely managed to say anything to him. He was already looking at the fan behind me but he turned back to me and said “thank you” and then I was off the stage. The 2 fans behind me and I tried to get another look from where we were but the bodyguards hurried us out to the hall where everyone else was waiting for the main event.  I noticed we weren’t the only ones who tried to get another look.  From then on the line moved pretty fast.

@pixie0622 regarding your comment about “THE HAND” – it was soft and warm. Since I don’t want to sound pervy, I will leave the rest to your imagination.:P

Not long after that the doors were opened for everyone to take their seats.

In his opening words, Minho said that he knew there were lots of non-Korean fans in the audience.  He said that this would be a “talk concert” unlike the previous concerts and was afraid that we wouldn’t understand his Korean.  I don’t know whose idea it was to give us the translation device but I will be eternally grateful to them.  While Minho was having trouble with his ear piece, I was very happily enjoying mine.

Since the rest of what he said was already shared I won’t repeat. I will however share that that first fan that was picked was sitting 3 rows in front of me so I got another good look at him when he came to our side of the stage to talk to her.

I can go on forever but this post is getting kind of long and I don't want to bore you with my babbles. I’m glad I made the effort to go. I have been a fan since BOF aired. If I didn’t love him already you can be sure that after the concert this Minoz is in his corner come hell or high water.

  2. As more and more of you are privileged to watch Gangnam 1970 screened in your countries, please remember that there are still some of us who are not so lucky and will need to wait a little longer to share the experience.  Please post anything that might spoil the movie for us in spoiler tags.

    Thank you.

Today was an emotionally packed day.  I started off being extremely nervous and ended up on cloud 9.  On a day like today I am so so proud to be a Minoz.  If my hunch is right this movie will be a huge success and MH is well on his way to Chungmuro.  His hard work and dedication along with his talent will launch him to the next step in his career.

If I didn't already respect SH before she sure earned my respect today for being brave enough to support her Kim Tan and walking that red carpet alone. For shyly telling everyone she was there to support him without using the cover of her Cell #7 Father who also happened to be Kim Jong Dae’s adoptive father.  For being there and supporting her friend, because any relationship based on friendship will always be solid and strong.

I have one word for both of them

  4. [Q&A] Gangnam 1970 Naver movie talk
MC: Is it tough filming action scenes?
    Minho:Those are beautiful memories
Raewon:Minho said it's a beautiful memory, but when we were filming the gang fights he actually said to me, "Hyung, I'm dyingggg..."
Minho:The feeling you get when you get hit by a baseball bat on a motorcycle is really different. The side-effects after getting hit, I kept grinning like an idiot.

Minho:When Rae-won hyung takes off his shirt to film a scene, he's surrounded by female stylists
MC:then Minho, how about you? Who surrounded you?
    Yooha:Me

MC: What will you (to the cast) do when the box office exceeds 5 million?
Minho: Is there anything fun that can be done?
Yooha: You can ride your motorbike around Gangnam station in your movie outfit..
