AHH!! Joo Jin Mo & Son Ye Jin on stage together! I mentioned this before and how much I wanted these two to act together. They look HOT together, don't they?! Of course, not as much as I want her to act with Kwon Sang Woo but that's a whole different story.
Son Ye Jin recently mentioned (at the 'Personal Taste' press conference) that her previous male co-stars have always been older than her and you know, I think it works well that way. It's not that she looks old or anything, but she has better chemistry with them or maybe she's simply that great of an actress who has great chemistry with most of her co-stars. I'm still unsure about her pairing with Lee Min Ho just because of his poor portrayal in overrated Kdrama, BOF, but why should I form an opinion purely based on one drama, right?
I'm really hoping that Lee Min Ho successfully pulls through and that his character is more mature than his previous one-dimensional character, Gyun Pyo, could ever wished to be.
So adorable! I'm so glad she was recognized for this award; although, I am not too fond of her fashion sense at this award ceremony. In the past, she managed to do it right but just unsure about this year. Maybe it's the pale orange color that I don't like... or maybe it's the dress entirely. Either way, she manage to still wear the dress well in some pictures.

Lovely pictures!! She looks so gorgeous and Lee Min Ho still manages to look awkward. hahah And maybe it's just with my mood now but for some reason, I do think Son Ye Jin looks better paired up with the guy to the far left rather than Lee Min Ho. Who IS that guy?

Lee Seung Gi main actor of ‘My Girlfriend is the Nine-Tailed Fox’, Main actress is Shin Sae Kyung? Broadcasted by KBS?
The contours of the drama ‘My Girlfriend is a Nine-Tailed Fox’ which has gained much attention as actor Lee Seung Gi’s newest work is beginning to show.
As screenwriter of the drama ‘You’re Beautiful’ Hong Sisters(Hong Jung Eun, Hong Mi Ran)’s newest work, the much anticipated ‘My Girlfriend is a Nine-Tailed Fox has casted Lee Seung Gi as the main actor.
It was said that the drama had been contemplating between Shin Sae Kyung and the group 2NE1’s Dara(real name Sandara Park) as the main actress role of the nine-tailed fox. The staff’s opinions lean more towards Shin Sae Kyung, who they think fits more into the main role. About this, Shin Sae Kyung’s company says “She needs to focus at the moment more on ‘Highkick Through the Roof’ so we have not settled on a following work yet,” and “For now, we are thinking about working on the scheduled commercial shoots and photoshoots that were postponed.”
The drama’s airing station is also being determined. It is in the process of arranging a decision between airing in SBS and KBS. In the case of SBS, it will be aired after their wed/thurs drama ‘Prosecuter Princess’, and in the case of KBS, it will be aired after ‘Cinderella Unnie.’
On the other hand, Lee Seung Gi, his newest work confirmed, has released an image from a photoshoot with Samsung Gipelle with a charismatic and sexy image. This photoshoot has gained much interest because Lee Seung Gi does not show any of the nice and clumsy image he has had in KBS2’s ‘1 Night 2 Days’ and instead shows a haughty but elegant image.

AHH! Exciting! Doesn't Lee Seung Gi has a thing for Dara? I liked them together when 2NE1 appeared on STRONG HEARTS! I hope they end up going with Dara! It'd be great seeing her act in a Kdrama soon and with a great costar. I wonder if they'll have chemistry on-screen!

If they do promote this, they will promote the phone since the song is a CM song not a promotional comeback etc. song. They can't perform this song on shows or outside events without Samsung's consent and/or unless YG and Samsung signed an agreement saying that they are allowing the girls to perform it. I don't think they can promote it like a 'regular' thing, but there has to be some kind of limit.
Anyways, I don't think they'll perform it, but probably at the Samsung showcase. Don't know when. I think they'll be w/ 2PM too since 2PM is promoting Corby phone from SS.
Oh, but it's not like Samsung owns the song, "Try To Copy Me" do they? And I was expecting the girls to promote the phone in the MV since the song was originally released to promote a phone. Oh well. Anyway, maybe Samsung will let them when 2NE1 performing the song can only help them promote their phone, right?
Can't wait to see 2NE1 back on stage! It's going to get crazy especially with other stars like Bi Rain, Hyori, and the Wondergirls releasing their albums in April, too!

I've asked this previously but noone has answered it yet.
Does anyone know 2NE1 will be promotiong, "Try To Copy Me" now with it's suprisingly rising popularity since it's released. I mean, they weren't even going to have an MV but because of the overwhelming positive response from listeners, they made one.
I am hoping that they'll be performing soon but the question is, will they?

I think the lead role Dara is talking about is the movie that TOP and Seungri is in "19" i remember reading that Dara was suppose to be the lead but I think the reason YG pulled her out of the movie was because he finally decided that he's going to put Dara in 2NE1.
which probably means the golden opportunity to become a singer...so yea I think the next interview will be about how she became a 2NE1 member? but yea I'm loving all of Dara's interview I hope the rest of the girls get interview too!
It would make sense that the Kdrama Dara may be talking about is with YG Entertainment leads, too, like TOP & Seung Ri but what doesn't make sense is how she expressed how she cried because she was dropped. I mean, if she was dropped because YG Entertainment wanted her to focus solely on her career as a 2NE1 member, then you'd think she'd understand why they dropped her. As the sound of it, it seemed that they unfairly dropped her for whatever reason.
I do wonder what Kdrama it was... she would've been perfect for the lead role in 'SHINING INHERITANCE' but no, I'm not saying that they were the one who dropped her either!
Anyway, I'm sure Dara has no regrets. Everything happens for a reason, right? And maybe not starring in this 'masterpiece' drama, as she described it, worked out for the best because of the success she had with 2NE1... and I'm sure more roles are now coming Dara's way. Let's just hope that she chooses wisely and a role that not only fits her, but at the same time, a strong character that will challege her to become a better actress. Anyway, I still can't get enough of 'Try To Copy Me'. I've made myself a Wallpaper from the MV and decided to make a mini-signature of it...it's now posted as my signature (on the left). Just saw 2NE1's new song and I loved it! I hated Dara's hair in the first half of the MV (the bangs was sorry to say, UGLY) but I loved everything CL throughout! She looked amazing and so did everyone else (with the exception of the ugly bangs Dara sported in the beginning)!
It's everything I would imagine the MV would be!
Does anyone know if they will be performing this song live anytiime soon. If so, when? Thanks! -

This should've happened with 'IRIS' but oh well. I am anticipating her to work with other actors like Kwon Sang Woo. I saw the video clips with her and Lee Min Ho and it was just as I thought. She seemed more comfortable in front of the camera than Lee Min Ho and in fact, she expressed more emotion and personality during the entire shoot. Lee Min Ho seemed awkward and shy... I just hope he gives more in the actual drama. Didn't see much chemistry between the two yet but I am being optimistic.
What can I say, I wasn't a fan of 'Boys Over Flowers' but I have hopes for Lee Min Ho.

Also, Hyun Joong & Yoona looks great next to each other and to be honest, I wouldn't mind seeing Lee Min Ho act with Moon Geun Young either and Joo Jin Mo & Son Ye Jin would make a great pair, wouldn't they? Possibly in a historical drama.

Intereseting data about the age differences with her co stars. I can't believe some of these actors are that much older than Son Ye Jin. They look just as young. For example, Song Seung Hoon is 6 years her senior, Song Il Gook is 11 years her senior, Jung Woo Sung is 10 years her senior, and even Gong Soo who I thought was her age or possibly somehow her junior by a small margin.
Anyway, I am excited to see how 'Personal Taste' plays out! I still really hope that the plot and its characters are up par with Son Ye Jin capabilities.

In fact, AMTR is probably my ultimate favorite Kmovie that I've seen so far. As for Son Ye Jin's costar, my favorite so far has been:
1. Jung Woo Sung, Kmovie 'A Moment To Remember'
2. Song Seung Hun, Kdrama 'Summerscents'
3. Gong Soo, Kmovie 'White Night'
I am absolutely anticipating Kwon Sang Woo & Son Ye Jin to act together. But in the meantime, please do check out my AMTR mvs that I have made over the summer.

Helena, thanks for sharing Dahee's! blog... I read their blog as well but don't comment..i think we have the same taste (just finished City Hall and didnt like it) i guess i understand the nervousness when it comes to this drama, with a director and writer that doesn't have quality projects behind them, it makes me nervous as well. As for Lee Min Ho, i guess he's ok (again, tomatoes coming!) like i said he doesn't wow me.. BOF was a mess and i personally think it wasted talents. This drama will define if he is just a one-hit-wonder or has a potential to show his acting skills, but then again, rom-coms rely mostly on plots not acting... but im keeping high hopes for this drama, i think its nice to see SYJ doing something light and romantic,and to see her doing a series for three months makes me really excited. And i hope Lee Min Ho can keep up with SYJ's performance

Whether this new drama with Lee Min Ho and Son Ye Jin will be a success or not is too early to tell but I do have to agree with you regarding BOF. I watched BOF and dreaded every minute of it. In fact, I couldn't even finish episode 10 and on forth because it was just that bad for me. Sure, maybe I see why it might be popular to many (the 'good' looking cast) but that itself couldn't save the drama for me. I was intrigued when I heard about Lee Min Ho's new movie and I had a few other actresses in mind that I wouldn't mind seeing him play opposite with, but after I heard it was with Son Ye Jin, I couldn't believe my eyes.
For the most part, I was just excited to see Son Ye Jin signing a Kdrama and even though I can't say I am too confident about the quality of the storyline (based on what they've released), I am hopeful and this mainly becaues of Son Ye Jin addition to the cast. With that said, I really hope that she signs 'IRIS 2" especially if Kwon Sang Woo decides to do it as well. He expressed that he wants to work with Son Ye Jin and imagine seeing these two on-screen together!

Are people still arguing? Hmm.. anyway! Cannot wait to hear 2NE1's new album. So is it still releasing in the early-Spring or did they push it back to summer?
Also, Dara is rumoured to be in WGM? For some reason, I hope this isn't true unless they pair her up with someone really worth-while.

Dara wants to act and expressed that she wishes to act in a Kdrama sometime in the near future, but whether or not it will conflict with her current schedule is not up to us. Other stars in the past have acted and continued with their music career so why not Dara, too?
It's not impossible! All I know is whatever it is Dara chooses, I hope it does justice to her. I still wish that she'll have a minimal (but substantial) part in 'Personal Taste'; although, I'm sure the focus will be on Son Ye Jin, whom I adore as an actress as well.
I'll keep trying and hopefully it works out.

Agreed. She was really lucky to share that steaming kiss with him in 'A LOVE TO KILL' though, but other than that, I think the two of them remained good friends. Doesn't she model with him in a few endorsements?
