Curious if Son Ye Jin has signed with any new projects after 'Personal Taste'. I am really hoping that she's being considered and that if she is, she'll agree to star with Bi Rain in his upcoming Kdrama, 'Fugitive' aka the 'Runaway'. I would love to see those two act together and you'd have to admit, they would look great together on screen!
Then again, this is probably just my wishful thinking considering she just finished one drama and would hardly have any time to prepare for a new one right away. Bi Rain's Kdrama will start filming very soon, but it's definitely not impossible!
If not with Kwon Sang Woo, I am still anticipating a project with her & Kwon Sang Woo! -

I think Rain answered this at his ISPlus interview (the one with the soju). He said his relationship with Hyori isn't 'that way'.
I will keep 'mum' on this. ;-) I wouldn't be surprised if the two are dating someone, if not each other despite what they might say now. They're both good looking people!

Sometimes I think we have to be "careful" when Rain is in talkshows or radio shows and is talking about his "ideal" girls. I get the feeling that it is also for entertainment. I am not saying that he is lying but that he just says things.
I don't know if Rain knows what his wants or not, but I am sure that deep down he doesn't limit himself by being picky if the woman is tall, short, sexy, long hair, short hair. As Rain talks more openly about dating and women, I guess he "tries" (Ok, that sounds nasty, what I mean being open to different kind of ladies
) and eventually he will know which woman is perfect for him - when he meets her (if he didn't meet her yet of course ). But I like the "sexy" thing more and more because every woman, doesn't matter what age, height, weight, hair colour, nationality can be sexy.I think he said that he likes younger women but he loves older women/noonas. Just like how he said women in their 20's are pretty but women in their 30's are beautiful. I think that alone says that he prefers older women or maybe he found love with someone who is older than him.
Either way, I wish him and his lucky love all the happiness! And to watch My Sassy Girl, I just looked it up on Youtube. Just search the Youtube user "kpawp" and look through his playlist. He should have both My Sassy Girl & Windstruck with English subtitles. I hope that helps! Remember to watch MY SASSY GIRL first and then watch WINDSTRUCK.

'My Sassy Girl' is one of those Korean classics--one you'll love or hate, but many loves it--including myself! hahah And then I would recommend you watch WINDSTRUCK right after it. And if you're still interested in watching more of her films, I'd recommend il Mare (Keanu Reeves & Sandra Bullock remade it, 'the Lake House' but it didn't capture the way the original did) and Daisy.

anjjo, thanks for sharing this. Oh, so, this is just a working title but I hope this is already the final one - I personally think that they don't need to replace it. If she's already confirmed to be casted with RAIN gosh, she's just lucky. She seems to be good since I never watched any yet of her works.
You haven't watched any of her films? I highly recommend you watch il Mare, My Sassy Girl, and Windstruck but I would highly recommend you watch My Sassy Girl BEFORE Winstruck!

I was thinking the same thing when I read the news about Son Dam Bi on ALLkpop.com but even though they would look good, part of me is really not into the Bi Rain and Son Dam Bi pairing though... I would much rather see Son Dam Bi paired up with hottie, Dennis Oh--which originally, both were chosen to play siblings on 'Hype Nation'.
It'd be really interesting to see Son Dam Bi in a historical drama.... it'll be different for her image!
Is she lead actress material though, is the question... -
You know, Hyori might not be listed during that show, but compared to the names that were given, we know at least she has a very special friendship with him and they show it. Both always supprot each other. So don't be too sad about this !

I'm so anticipating seeing them on 'Come To Play' and 'Happy Together'. Too bad there's no updates on it--suprisingly enough, there are no pictures from any of the sets. Let's hope we'll be seeing previews pretty soon though! -

He said that he wants to do a funny drama before a Hollywood movie. so I don't know clearly he has signed new Hollywood movie or not. But it's an action movie.

I think Jeon Ji Hyun will be finishing her Chinese film very soon which should give her time to do a Korean-return.... there is a possibility with her so we'd have to wait and see. As for Park Shin Hye, I think she's being considered for Lee Seung Ki's new Kdrama but as for Han Ji Hye, I'm not too sure. Not a very big fan of hers, but she's pretty much on the same boat as Sung Yuri--both have potential and have room to grow but of course with the right role.
I'd be very content if it ends up being Son Ye Jin! She's definitely versatile and someone who can carry a character to full extent!
Someone mentioned Ha Ji Won and even though I wouldn't mind seeing her and Bi Rain reunite in a Kdrama after 'Love Story', I don't think it'll happen because I read that she signed a film recently. -
Hi aXiSEEu, thanks for sharing this article from javabeans. I couldn't agree with you more - I like her! The last drama where I watched her was with Ji Sung & Lee Wan in STS. :blush:
I still think Sung Yuri would look great with Bi Rain but hopefully the role fits her well and more importantly, challenge her to become a better actress. She's definitely capable despite her previous (very) poor drama choices--surprisingly enough, I've seen them all except her most recent one.
I don't know about you all but I'm still rooting for her until someone better comes in mind...

... actually, weren't there rumours going around that Jeon Ji Hyun (My Sassy Girl) was planning on returning to the Korean scene with a Korean drama in mind--remake of hit Japanese manga and Jdrama, 'Absolute Boyfriend'? Whatever the case maybe, I really wouldn't mind if she gets paired with Bi Rain! I think they'd make a great-looking pair as well and whether if it's Bi Rain's spy-comedy?/drama or the remake of 'Absolute Boyfriend' will definitely catch viewers attention with these two!

On an upcoming episode of Strong Heart, singer Rain appeared on the show and revealed a few secrets about his dating life.
When the MCs asked, “Since you’re very busy, do you have time to date?” Rain responded by saying, “I did everything in private. A man’s got to do what a man’s got to do, right?”
After dropping such a bombshell revalation on everyone, the other guests realized that Rain has never talked about his “ideal type.” So, a World Cup style competition was organized to figure out Rain’s ideal woman.
Up for competition was Song Hae Gyo, Han Ye Seul, Shin Min Ah, Im Soo Jung, Jung Ga Eun and After School’s Kahi. Because of this, much buzz is surrounding this episode as to who Rain will pick as his “ideal woman.”
This episode of Strong Heart is scheduled to air on the 4th.
It bums me that Lee Hyori wasn't in that list of choices
but I wonder how he would answer anyway...! -

Sung Juri: I`ve never seen her in a good drama… And I can`t even determine is she a good or bad actress as her roles were always .. let`s say not demanding when it comes to acting skills.
Many point at LDH cause both - director and the writer - mentioned before that they want to work with her one more time…. But I`m not sure here. She`s the same case as Sung Juri – she didn`t have luck with her past dramas and it is still hard to say anything about her acting skills.
But maybe for both of them this drama would be a turning point???
Remember when we talked about our ideal actress in his next drama???
I`ve changed my opinion as it`s not a rom - com but a spy melodrama. And for me it`s a huge difference.
So my ideal actresses at this point are Ha Ji Won or ….Im Su-jeong (as they are both very versatile actresses like Moon Geun Young).
For a spy melodrama I want somebody mature, experienced and charismatic… Who would teach Rain something new
. I definitely don`t want to see beauties without any acting skills like KTH. Similarly no cute ones like YEH (even thoug I like her).

(You can never enter the same river twice). ---- It can also be a totally new face – but charismatic and talented one!
Some of you know that I`m not a fan of Chun Sung-il and I wanted from Rain some rom – com … cause I truly miss his smiling face in drama or movie productions but I can not say that I`m disappointed with his choice.
Once again he has proved that he isn`t afraid of taking up challenges.
All his drama roles were always very different… and we have never seen him in a spy melodarma.
As an actor Ji Hoon has a great potential but many things depend on his cooperation with the writer and the director. Hope that they will be very demanding from him and he will learn a lot during the filming (like during his work with Park Chan Wook). I also hope that his co – star will be a mature, strong and talented one so they can both create amazing characters.
The problem with Chun Sung-il is that he`s focused only on male characters…. So maybe I shouldn`t be so demanding cause this girl will say around 20 words during this 16 episodes???
I thought of Ha Ji Won, too, but I'm not sure that will happen. I would love to see him work with Son Ye Jin! If you want versatality and superb acting, she's you're girl! But after 'Personal Taste', I'm not sure if she will be signing a new Kdrama afterwards...maybe movies?

Why are people wanting Lee Dae Hee? I saw her in CHUNO and unfortunately, her impact was lacking. Blame it on the writers for not giving her character more substantial importance but I honestly wouldn’t want her paired up with Bi Rain just yet.Is there another actress we can think of? Han Ye Seul or Ha Ji Won are actresses from his music video but I’m not sure if that will work out considering… I would love to see Bi Rain & SUNG YURI!
Knowing how close Bi Rain is with Hyori, I can imagine that he’s also friends with other FinkL members including Sung Yuri so why not?! I think they would make a great looking pair and plus, they’re both idols turning into actors. It’s almost perfect! Plus, she’s a good actress, too, who has potential to become an even better actress if given the chance and with the right role. She also always reminded me of one of my favorite actress, Son Ye Jin–there’s a resemblance between the two!

Rain denies rumors of working with "The Slave Hunters" writer
Korean entertainer Rain has denied rumors that he will be collaborating with Cheon Seong-il, the writer of recent hit TV series "The Slave Hunters" (KBS2).
An official at Rain's agency J. Tune Entertainment said in a phone call with Asia Economic Daily on Monday that the actor is "currently reading scripts for various dramas and nothing has been set as of yet".
A media outlet had reported this morning that the Asian singing sensation had decided to appear inCheon 's next television drama, tentatively titled "Fugitive", and that he is negotiating on the details of his contract.
Rain, whose real name is Jung Ji-hoon, started his career as a trainee at Korea's major talent agency JYP Entertainment in 2002. He quickly gained fame throughout Asia, releasing five albums in Korea and starring in hit televisions dramas including "Full House" and "Sang Doo! Let's Go To School".
He made his Hollywood debut in 2008 thru the Wachowski Brothers' action flick "Speed Racer", which led to his star turn in the martial arts pic "Ninja Assassin" last year.
Rain recently made a comeback to the K-pop music scene with his special album "Back To The Basic", released on April 1. He had stated that he will be returning to the small screen around October.

Uh sorry to break it to yah, but 2NE1 and the rest of the YGF will probably not attend the Dream Concert. There's already seating charts going around int./krn. sites and it seems to be finalized that the girls won't be attending at all.
Oh, I thought I read somewhere that SNSD fans were complaining how they only get two seat leveles while other girl groups like Wondergirls and 2NE1 are only getting one seat levels.
What a bummer! Anyway, I am still hoping they'll be going!
