Anyway, do girls in Korea really have nude pictures taken for fun for themselves nowadays !? And even when the photographer is a man???
I have never heard of this, not even where I live, what is supposed to be a very free and open-minded country.
I was wondering the same thing too. The scene really confused me since I don't understand Korean and I've never see it before. I live in a liberal country as well but it was still a little weird to see that happen.

Well they are from the same broadcasting company. There were a few moments where Hyung Tae just looked a little miffed about Nan Hee and Jung Joo's relationship. The ending was hilarious in ep 8!

i guess watching this drama makes me think about something that is completely unconsiously happen in the society. Nowadays, i guess a lot of guys and girls that connect with each other and be best-friend together rite ? I mean they are be able to be together just as best friends and no have feelings with each other. BUt , of course, it's not eliminating the possibility might fall in love with each other since they will spend more time together and feel comfortable to spend time together. As we can see in this drama, HT and NH are living together , they will eventually realize that they are living together like a couple ( husband and wife). They eat together, they watch TV together... and both of them are waiting for each other when one of them are not home yet. They care about each other so much and HT can read NH mind and can understand her really deeply about her feelings. Even when they are not together at home , they even can meet each other in the sidewalk cafe ( the place where HT often drink!). They are like meant to be. Naturally, both of them will get used to live with each other.
Probably, the story will come to the point where NH really needs to move out and live separately from HT. At that time, she will realize completely about her feelings and how she misses him so much and spends time together and sits there enjoying time together and fighting.
HT will probably feel the same way ....and in they will show a lot of flash back when they lived together...haha ....
is there anyone has the prediction as i do ?
Your prediction seems really like since Nan Hee is getting ready to take that step with the brat Jung Joo (obviously I don't like him very much).
I can testify to the whole boy girl friend thing since one of my closest friends is a guy. I don't think we'll ever fall in love romantically though haha. I gave my friends the hypothetical situation that Nan Hee and Hyung Tae are in and most of them actually said they don't think the two people would fall in love.

It makes me wonder if they're going to pull a fast one on us while Hyung Tae and Nan Hee's relationship develop. They'll be off into the land of coupledom or something and then bam! Hyung Tae's first love appears. Oh man if they did it like that, I'd lose so much respect for this drama.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for better things.

I love how every character had their own distinct personality in this. Everyone was just so easy to fall in love with, especially Dal Hee, Dr Anh and the other three interns. This drama moved at a really good pace, nothing too draggy and the right amount of drama to create fantastic tension. Dr Anh's back story really was quite sad. I love love love the Dal Hee and Dr Anh pairing and their first date at the movies was hilarious. Dr Park's character had me rolling around so often, he was just so funny with his lack of shame. LBS despite not being attractive, he won my heart over with Dr Anh's character. Definitely recommending this to many people.

^I love the drama because of its mature take on relationships (despite never having been in one myself but I was getting sick of all that teenybopper business) too. The script never went into too much sentimentality but there was emotion there, possibly even stronger than most of the hackneyed cliches in most Kdramas.
I'm also watching this drama right now...I'm about to watch episode 9...I like the story's plot ans all the actors are good...Son Ye-jin did her job really well...and the story was really nice...two ex-husband and wife that are on the stage of confusion of whether to get back together again...I love it when Eun-ho's sis and the doctor friend does everything to get them back together...I know this drama was 100% shot before airing...I think it's a good thing to do since the story is consistent and the results are good, I hope other K-drama producers could follow that kind of formatActually I remember reading on Twitch that about six or eight episodes were shot first and the rest was shot as it aired. I think it was a great thing that they did that. Every episode left a lasting impression and the series had the advantage of being consistent through out.

I wonder if Im Yoona's character (the writer girl) is an intentional caricature. Her character's just too obvious for people to take her seriously. Or she could just be an immature kid who knows nothing. I don't like that co-worker of Nan Hee's either. She seems rather naive and annoying.
What's the deal between Hyung Tae and the female co-worker of his? I remember there were flashbacks of them two meeting at a bar before she began working there and Nan Hee found one of her earrings at Hyung Tae's place before.

Someone mentioned how the drama doesn't seem to have a plot a few pages back and they were afraid it would turn into another Witch Yoo Hee. I think the show does have a plot but it's not heavily plot driven where the show's success depends on the story but rather more on the relationships between the characters. 9E2O wouldn't be half as much fun if it weren't for Soo Ae and Lee Jung Jin's chemistry.
I'm going to go nuts if this turns into a big mess with Nan Hee's ex from high school and Hyung Tae's first love. I'm still reserving my judgement for this drama because all the ones I've watched lately have started off so well and then went onto a trip to the city dump site.

i'm not 100% sure cuz i only managed to gloss over eps 1 & 2 before i worked on translating ep3 but here's my take on it......
Nan Hee was fed up with the sad state of her life and how her mum's always nagging at her for that as well
so after a quarrel with her mum (and also what the fortune teller said about her bringing bad luck to the rest of the family)
Nan Hee decided to move out to challenge herself for growth.
at the same time Hyung Tae decided to take a 6-month soul-searching trip (with money he got from a deposit for his previous house or something)
and if i'm not wrong, Nan Hee offered him her whole life savings as rental for her to stay at his place while he's gone.
i don't think they initially had plans to be living together, Nan Hee was only going to stay there till she can find a place
so she wouldn't be at Hyung Tae's place by the time he came back from his trip 6 months later?!
but somehow Hyung Tae came back early and couldn't give Nan Hee any money back so she couldn't rent another place outside
so they decided to bunk in together and share out the cost of living for 6 months.

Random but who doesn't love Lee Jung Jin's array of expressions? I think I'm going to be in love with him before Nan Hee is haha.
I like how they use the hand camera for some scenes, makes the show feel a little more realistic.

I love the relationship between Hyung Tae and Nan Hee. It love how they can be so playful with each other without the awkwardness. Every time they have one of those moments, they stay playful instead of acting all shy suddenly. It's a realistic portrayal of their friendship. I want to see more of the quirks of the characters displayed because it's so funny like Hyung Tae's cleaning habits and Nan Hee's lack of cleaning habits.
I really do not like Nan Hee's boyfriend, whathisname Joo. He's so immature and annoying and I can't understand why she would like him. It makes me wonder if really all college aged guys are that immature and whiny. He spends too much time trying to punch Hyung Tae T_T
Could anyone explain the arrangement that had Nan Hee ending up living at Hyung Tae's place? My Chinese isn't good enough to understand every thing unfortunately.

I've always been a Choi Jung Yoon fan since she's always overshadowed by prettier actresses and an underused actress for someone of her talent, but as much as I'm a fan of Choi Jung Yoon, I also can see there's a huge disconnect between her and Yoo Gun. I may sound biased, but I'm going to pit the blame on Yoo Gun. For me the disconnection comes from the fact that Yoo Gun isn't as good as Choi Jung Yoon. It's hard for an actor or actress to make a relationship, whether as lovers, family, friends, or enemies, believable when one actor isn't at the same level as his/her partner. Choi Jung Yoon is doing the best she can with a partner who is just not good enough. Most of his scenes are always 어색한 느낌, it always makes me feel awkward watching his scenes because he doesn't come off as Joon Soo, but an actor trying to play the role of Joon Soo in the drama Bad Couple.
It makes me skip all of his scenes and I can't believe I'm saying this, but makes me almost wish Young takes back her husband.. almost.

I don't totally buy the whole relationship with those two either. Yoo Gun seems a little awkward with his scenes and some of the lines he delivers just sound really cheesy. Ryu Su Young has cheesy lines too but he pulls it off. I actually kind of want Young to take back her husband because they seem to have a better rapport and it's more entertaining to watch despite the moral factors involved. (Choi Jung Yoon is very pretty in her own right I think.
)gerryg I think there were drugs involved in the designing of the shirt. Or the stylist was just on crack. Korean stylists seem to sometimes get it right and then other times get it horribly wrong.

Jung Sook finds out about the pregnancy when she goes up to Dang Ja's apartment and hears the baby doll cry. She then started crying on the floor. O_O

As Gi Chan drives home, he cries about it while Dang Ja cries in her room. I would say the crap's really hit the fan. O_O He goes off to a bar to drink why Jung Sook sits at his apartment. She tried that cliched hug from the back earlier and tried to kiss him too. After Gi Chan gets drunk at the bar, Jung Sook gets called to pick him up and he's muttering something in his sleep. Jung Sook looks like she's ready to shoot someone.

It looks like Sae Yun leaves Young's husband. I'm not sure but she seems to leave on good terms with him although he's a little disgruntled she's going. Young's husband tries to crawl back and Young just acts really cold to him. Lol it's actually quite funny but good to see her being the strong one. Hahaha Jun Soo and Young meet up late at night while her husband is in the study and he makes some comment about it. Then Jun Soo tries to get a kiss off Young on the cheek and they end up at a drive-in watching some American film. I think they start talking about how Young's husband is back and the problems associated with it.

Park Sang Min is such an awesome character. His character sits at home as Young's out and he pouts. It's all very funny. I like the balance between melodrama and comedy in each episode of Bad Couple.
Gi Chan's father comes to visit and I think Gi Chan breaks off the engagement with Jung Sook because his dad gets REALLY ANGRY. Back at the village, Gi Chan's mother seems to try to calm him down.
After that scene, Gi Chan goes to Dang Ja's apartment. She's a little hesitant about letting him in. He brings her a crab (think about the episode where he stayed up late looking for crab for her to eat). AWWWWWW. But then she just stares at him blankly and tells him to go. I think Gi Chan asks whose kid she's carrying and Dang Ja doesn't seem to answer him directly. She continues to speak to him coldly as he persists about the matter and she tells him to leave. I swear I want to cry for Gi Chan here if he doesn't. And the music kicks in when he turns around to leave. It's the Gi Chan said song I think. As he leaves, Dang Ja's eyes fill up with tears. I guess she's telling him to go because she doesn't want him to come after her out of sympathy since he knows about the pregnancy.
Jung Sook and Gi Chan meet up that night and talk about Dang Ja. Gi Chan goes to talk to his father, pleading for something on his knees. His dad is still pretty mad about everything. I hear a mention of Dang Ja in their conversation. I love how mad his dad gets. It's rather comical watching his finger wave at Gi Chan and he slams the table screaming. He even tries to throw a book at Gi Chan. It seems like Gi Chan really is ending the engagement for his dad to be that mad.
A lot of the dialogue I'm just guessing from how they are acting and the limited Korean I know so please don't take my word as concrete.
FINAL EDIT
Gi Chan's mum seems to support him and Jung Sook calls Dang Ja saying something about who Gi Chan loves.
Gi Chan goes to Dang Ja's apartment again with a ring in hand. No one answers the door so he calls Dal Soon and she tells him to hurry off somewhere. He ends up finding Dang Ja and he runs up to her and they face each other smiling. Aw man, Ryu Su Young has the cutest smile ever. He puts the ring on her finger and they stand there, smiling again. (Excuse them as they float off into la la land) They hug finally and the camera does that cool 360 swivel thing around them. And that is the end of the episode.
Previews
There are a few cute Gi Chan, Dang Ja and baby moments. It's all very adorable but Dang Ja goes to another check up and something seems to have gotten worse. On the Jun Soo/Young/Yun Seok side of things, Jun Soo tries to go further with Young in their relationship but Young's husband stands there as an obstacle.
I am so glad they didn't drag the Gi Chan and Dang Ja thing although they couple still have a lot to face with Dang Ja's tumour. I guess the tumour thing extended the plot by three more episodes which seems like they're dragging a little. Although the whole thing with Gi Chan and Dang Ja is done, there's also the other story which hasn't been resolved so I guess the three extra episodes is kind of understandable.

I think the acting in this version is better than the TW version. You could tell Wu Chun was really inexperienced as an actor because a lot of his scenes were really awkward. There were some emotional scenes where I just cringed for him because it was really bad to watch. It was kind of a case of bathos, one where they tried to have sentimentality but it turned funny. My little sister even noticed this and said she liked Sano in this version a lot more because he was really good with his scenes. (Oguri Shun's teeth are crooked and he looks a kid when he laughs or smiles lol.)

I kind of can't get over how his hair is blond but his eyebrows are black. I think it'll take me a while to adapt. It's like JJ's platinum hair. I think Kibum should consider a haircut. :x
