The Captain of the Geun-Geun ship is inviting all passengers to dine with me. Black tie only, and you have to bring your powers of conjecture, deduction, and persuasion. The crack team in the discussion forum is entertaining me silly with their masterful CSI abilities (carry on, sailors!), so I simply must reward everyone with some GG goodies.
Bringing photos from the Mary Stayed Out All Night photobook, which isn’t so much never-seen-before, but more like never-seen-from-this-angle before. As an added bonus,Basic House just released a BTS video of the Moon Geun Young-Won Binphotoshoot, which gives us a glimpse of our Mae Ri (and a very hot Won Bin as well, which is always a treat).

Geun-Geun Sageuk Mashup Fanfiction: When Lee Chang Hwe Met Shin Yoon Bok

I’m too lazy to translate the world of fanfiction about the Geun-Geun Couple or stories continuing where Mary Stayed Out All Night left off. But when I came across this brilliant and ROFL picture story book, it begged me to take the time to share it. Bringing you a what-if scenario of: Mae Ri runs over Mu Gyul, sending him back in time where he wakes up as Chang Hwe, who runs into Eun Bok, sees that she looks just like his Mae Ri, and hurries off to marry the little cross-dressing lady.
This picture story uses screencaps from Jang Geun Seok‘s Hong Gil Dong, and Moon Geun Young‘s Painter of the Wind. There are also some wickedly meta cameos in this story, which I won’t reveal and spoil the surprise. Just a refresher: in HGD, Jang Geun Seok plays Chang Hwe, an exiled prince who is back to reclaim his rightful throne, and in PotW, Moon Geun Young plays a genuis painter who must cross-dress as a boy to join the Royal Art Institute and paint for the royal family.
I’m going to watch Mu Gyul’s performance today, so happy!

Had Cinderella Unni gave Chun Jung Myung more to work with rather than play the angst card x100 I would be on the CJM-MGY boat. But I think MGY-JGS should win because they are so good onscreen together. Not only are the Geuns extremely talented, they play off each other really well and their chemistry is off the charts.
I agree, I also like Chun Jung Myung-Moon Geun Young but their love story was not fully developed unlike the Jang Geun Suk-Moon Geun Young love story which is developed every episode. But I'm wishing that both couples win.. is that even possible? 2 couple awards for MGY
