Man, I know I shouldn't be saying this but I'm kinda upset with comments saying how they are just like friends and that it doesn't seem real. What enrages me more is some people saying how Eric pushed Yongsun's limits with skinships such as hugging.
First of all, if Eric DOES intend to push her limits with skinships, he would do way much more skinships, knowing how he is from a country that is prone to skinships. Second, he would also not only ask her to drop her honorifics to him, but instead, maybe he would ask what the MCs always wanted. About them being friends, I think they emphasized it enough how both of them always wanted a marriage relationship like friends. And also, don't forget how they actually really started from 0 and they both even confessed that they're both actually somewhat shy introverts, so seeing their interactions now, I think it's a really big thing for them. I understand that people might be like, "eh, i want more skinships" or "look at other couples, they have much more skinships than them. they're not progressing" or "their skinship progress is weak", but i just wanna tell them that they also have to consider their personalities and everything.
Happy end note: I love them just the way they are, and I know it's frustrating sometimes, wanting more physical contacts and everything, but I just love them the way they are
@sujukpop to be honest I did think of that their progression is more of friends rather than a couple at first. But then again, that's what both Eric and Solar wants; relationship that's like friends. As @Farfalle said, they're both shy introverts, Solar more so than Eric. Solar is the type that hates cheesy stuff and she's a tough case to open up. Even mamamoo members said Solar was like that when they first met. But look at how she is now! she's as crazy as the other members
Plus since they only meet about 3 times a month it makes it even harder for her to actually warm up. That's why I believe they do keep in contact outside WGM cause if not, she would have grow tense at Eric's constant skinship now but she's not. she's actually comfortable and is fine with it With Eric too he's the considerate gentleman that takes care and watches over Solar. He's from Atlanta; skinship is normal for them. but knowing Solar and how she is, he's willing to adapt to her and not attempt that much skinship cause he knows it would make her uncomfortable. It's the little touches, the gaze, and the body language that's matter. When Eric sits, his body is always leaning toward Solar, his arm always rest behind her back and he always look at her so fondly. That to me already indicates that he's into her That's why I hope Solar opens up more, speak more banmal, and do these little touches that might seem subtle but is so spazz worthy @enko20 I know he does seems tired
he has so many events to attend so I really hope he's taking care of himself. But it's amazing of him being so tired with barely enough sleep but he's still so friendly and gives everything his all. If it was me I would have been so cranky haha@yuffiezdincht you pretty much nailed my wishes for them too!! haha I want all of that to happen

go to each other's events and show full support at their workplaces! plus show off their sweetness especially Eric to come to one of Mamamoo's events and actually see his cool and charismatic wife perform life! Then maybe one of the members would point out that Eric is there and would tease Solar and both would be so embarrassed
- a more one to one talk cause I think that's really important to them as a couple. I mean I'm pretty sure they have those moments but MBC just cut it cause they want to show the more fun side of Ddongi couple. But that's the intimate moment that actually show their progression!! It's the most real side of them so I hope they would air more of that side..

@sujukpop @enko20 @hazellynn YESSS I was also spazzing at that part!! Eric could have said something general about marriage but he actually thought not of his future marriage but a MARRIAGE WITH SOLAR! What is this...? Eric are you really thinking that far ahead?? His gaze, his body language, the way he talks I really think he seriously likes her. Even when he was talking to Nicole he spoke so fondly of how him and his wife been wanting a puppy and how when he teases her for a hug, that GAZE! his eye smiles when he looks at her
He always looks after her and Solar too I feel like she's really opening up to him more and more. They would really make a cute, happy family since Solar is so bubbly and caring (being the unnie of her group) while Eric is the perfect guy to take care of her!! Solar really should grab him for real..there's no other guy like Eric Nam! @zurah90 yes she does feels more comfortable with skinship, like she doesn't tense up anymore and even touches him without even realizing cause she's just so used to it
can't wait for Yongsun's comeback attack!! She's so unpredictable with her attacks and it always caught Eric off guard (cleaning his eyes, feeding him, fixing his hair..) Now if she only grabs his hand Eric would be like "what is this....?" and his ears would be so red and he'll be smiling nonstop He'll reciprocate just the same and it would be spazz galore!!!! Ahh waiting patiently......
But overall I just love how this episode shows Yongsun's dependable side even more, like she knows the dogs wouldn't eat cause they're thirsty and she leads them to the door one by one. It just makes her that much more lovable as a wife and a side that Eric definitely appreciates. This is why Eric is just glad she's there with him
Ugh but i seriously can't wait for the next episode where we get to see Eric more involved in Solar's family. All this time Eric's the one getting more involved, like sending the thank you video to Solar's mom and even sending her fruits. I hope Solar will also get to see his side of the family like meeting or talking to his brothers, maybe even his parents. Since Eric sees Mamamoo already I want to see Solar interacting with his friends! We'll get to see Eric's touchy protectiveness again and his embarrassment when Amber, Kevin, Ailee, or Jimin makes fun of him in front of Solar
Plus the sit up scene!! Ahh MBC better not cut any of those out!!

@Le_Sanguinea Omo that will be a dream come true! I think I read somewhere in an article that when WGM was interviewing Eric, he does want to do a couple song with his partner so it might be possible after all! Their voice go so well together when they were singing Endless Love at their wedding..I hope it does happen
But yeah your name sounds really familiar too...did you use to stan the older WGM couple too? Like from season 1 or Adam couple era or something

That's why I keep checking this thread and replying the previous episodes to get the Ddongi cravings out cause its so addicting. I'm loving the updates you guys have of this couple so there's more sources to satisfy this craving hehehehe. They're progressing so much from the awkwardness from the first day to being comfortable and caring for each other <3
Hehe Solar is definitely the best English speaker out of Mamamoo! and she'll have even more prcrtice since she does have an English speaking hubby too

Silent lurker here just coming out cause I can't contain myself anymore! I've been a fan of WGM since season 1 and all through Adam couple's era but kinda stopped cause I didn't found a couple I really like. But since I love Mamamoo already I decided to check Solar and Eric and I absoluteraly fell in love with this couple cause they're just so sweet! Solar is shy and reserved but she's so bubbly around the people she knows while Eric is such a gentleman and so considerate of her. I look forward to their progression every single day, especially the skinship!! idk how many times I replied the last 2 episodes cause I love their interactions so much thanks to our panelist
Eric was so protective of her and stayed close to her like a glue the whole time to comfort her from all the craziness and it's just so sweet..I seriously can't wait for Eric to see Solar's sexy stage through fancams cause Solar was on fire that night! Eric is gonna FREAK and his ears will be burning hot hehehe -

I think this couple is really cute and funny. It's my first time seeing GuiGui and I like her. She's so adorable and so real...like she tries her best in making everything work out. Tho she can be kinda childish..that's what I feel Taec is trying to adjust to the most.

Am I being delulu or am I sending dating vibes from them?? Yongsun got so comfortable with Eric that's she's even the one reaching out for skinship!! And not an easy one too, she's so close to him
not even surprised if they're secretly dating hehe
