Alright Ladies and Gents, I am here to announce that I'm a new convert.
lol
but yeah, I heard about Shinhwa after I got into kpop a few years back but never gotten round to know more about them.
Now they're back, with this massive comeback, I've watched all the live performances and I must say they are pretty good.
I mean, they just simply prove my view that mature charismatic men are just soooo much better than young teenagers lol (no offence intended)
I'm now trying to go through all their past shows and things (leaving me with no sleep and no work done yet again).
I'm turning more orange day by day!!! =P

Does anyone know how to speed up HTC thunderbolt?
It used to be fast but then bam end of 30 day warranty (jk, but it has been a month or so...) now it's super laggy (no joke, it took 10 min just unlock it because it kept freezing and several minutes to write this out because it doesn't register half the keys I press).
the only thing I can think of that would slow it down (other than the bloatware)is the go ex theme (but I added that like on the 3rd day) and key boards.
Maybe there are lots of apps running in the background? Whenever my phone lags I would use a free app called Taskiller, which lists a number of apps that are running (which I thought I had closed) and allows me to "kill" them. After "killing" the apps, my phone stops lagging.

I used to just surf the forum whenever I was bored, click all the threads and comment everywhere, but nowadays I just go in and skim through the titles. Nothing seems to attract me to click them anymore.
I thought the main reason that I stopped being so active was because of the new fanfic writers, I find that nobody has original ideas anymore and all the plots got repetitive. It's not that they don't write well (although I do believe the standards have changed from the what it used to be before the crash), they just don't appeal to me anymore. I used to follow a billion new fics at the same time and pretty much get confused with them since I was reading so many at the same and they would update at different times
but eventually I stopped reading on-going fics (got impatient with waiting and writers who discontinue was too disheartening for me D:) and only stuck to completed ones... then I stopped doing that too.Regarding kpop, I'm mainly on the Shinhwa bandwagon, but since their band activites are on hiatus due to military, there's nothing to really stalk about them on here. There's the occasional news article... but it's not sufficient to keep me coming back for hours like it used to... their thread used to be updated by pages everytime I come back... D:
Other kpop groups... I just don't have the same stalking urge I guess haha
Or maybe I've just grown up to the point where; I don't post just to increase my post count, I don't find fanfics worthwhile, or I just don't have the boyband stalking habit haha.
It definitely wasn't the new layout that pushed me away from soompi though. I still come on here everytime I'm on the computer, but I don't surf as much anymore. I agree with how liking/disliking someone's post can scare some people away. When it first came out, I was so conscious of it, and kept checking my reputation lol. I would even sometimes go back to my posts to see where I gained/lost points.

I don't speak broken English to them but sometimes if I see them struggling a bit to understand, I would try to speak slower (but not to the point where I seem to be mocking them). Sometimes if I'm desperate, I might include hand gestures.

Aww I used to worry about my test scores/assignments when I was young too (regret stressing so young
), but there really isn't much for you to stress about before yr 11. For lots of people, just chucking on some music and going outside for a walk helps them clear their heads. Once you're in yr 12, I recommend you not to turn on the computer or start some drama session lol (i'm a hypocrite) because once you start going on the computer/watching dramas, it's hard to get away from it... but at your age, feel free to do those things. Do it all before you get to yr 12!
Hmm do you have any hobbies? Like playing the piano or maybe even just cooking? That might help take your mind off stressful things. I have friends who love to bake whenever they feel too stressed with all the upcoming university entrance exams.
Oh and try not to mess up your sleeping pattern, that may add up to stress.

On August 31st, Eric uploaded two parody pictures of himself and his fellow Shinhwa members. One picture had the faces of all six Shinhwa members photoshopped onto a poster from the recent ‘Smurfs‘ movie, and the other picture had the members set-up as loan sharks.
On the ‘Smurfs’ picture, Eric wrote the caption, “2012 — I hope everyone gets nervous!“. As for the gangster parody picture, he wrote, “Did you pay back, kid? We get your swindled money back“. Cheekily, he added an additional message with the gangster picture, saying, “Shinhwa hopes to help everyone in any way possible.”
