Ah thinking about it ...I'm just so sad that MBC did Hyeyoon, Rowoon and Jaewook dirty like this. lol. It's unfair especially for Hyeyoon and Rowoon since they worked so hard to build up such a beautiful palpable chemistry together just for MBC to dismiss it and opt for nominating 'a couple and its third-wheel' instead

and poor Jaewook is receiving the brunt of it all :/ He don't deserve this. They all don't deserve this. MBC should've just left Haru and Dan oh alone and let them have the spotlight and honor of getting the Best Couple Award.
I visited some of the Korean forums and the korean viewers are definitely pissed at MBC. Yikes. lol

Hey everyone, I've been a silent lurker here. although the drama has ended, i just wanna say hi and that this drama is defintely one of my faves this year so far. I love how although it can be fluffy and cute but it has subtle philosophical elements to the story that makes us as viewers question about our own existence in our world as well. As someone who loves reading literary fiction with magical realism and philosophical elements and in addition to meta-fiction, this story really gels well with me.
In addition to that, i love seeing fresh new faces taking on lead roles and that they did such an amazing job at it.
The casts have such good chemistry together especially the two leads (Hyeyoon and Rowoon) who have done such an amazing job at making their romance so believable and heartfelt. They are just overflowing with so much romantic chemistry for such young leads. I'll be looking forward to their future projects as I can see so much potential in them.
I just saw the news that MBC has opened the voting polls for the Best Couple category. It is so unfortunate that they include the love triangle as the Best Couple. Its definitely unfair to the DanHaru couple as they are the main couple and deserve the award as the main couple and not as a love triangle :(. I wonder what was MBC thinking. But I guess despite my disappointment of them including Baek Kyung in this, I will still vote because the drama and the casts deserves the recognition and award for their hard work. I just wish it's only for Haru and Dan Oh though...Can't MBC just change it? LOL. I'm pretty sure there's alot of upset people out there as well.
I understand the anger and disappointment but let's support the drama and casts as much as we can.

Thanks @gumtaek & @mellinadear. Glad to be back and glad to be able to share some news about Bogum no matter how tiny it may be. Haha. & yes, I do agree with both of you. I, myself, am not really sure how I feel about this to be quite honest. While I do enjoy some of the Hong sisters works as they do slapstick comedy quite well, but I can't deny that their recent works have been quite...a disappointment. Infact, I think my only favourite from them was My Girl and that drama was yeaaaaars ago. haha. But yes, I definitely want Bogum to be in a production with a good script and story. If this has a great script(after a long 2 year hiatus from Warm and Cozy, I have hopes that they are able to improve their craft within that time) then I am all for it. I really like Bogum's choices of work so far though. I like that he has a thing of choosing stories with heartwarming qualities in them (stories that have something more to it than just plain old romance) and I foresee him doing the same with his upcoming projects.

Goodness it has been so long since I've logged in to Soompi and posted in this thread. LOL
It's good to see fellow Bogummy fans, both old and new here. Just decided to drop by to say hello and that I miss our boy. hahaha
Anyways, just wanted to share that there's actually rumors going around in DC Gallery in regard to Bogum. And no, before you freak out, it's not a dating rumour. We can all breathe a sigh of relief. haha
Thought it would be fun to share because it's quite a hot topic on DC and also theqoo, I believe? haha
It actually has something to do with a new....drama? maybe?
Well, actually some DCers discovered a list of upcoming drama lineup from a source with Bogum's name attached to this particular project.
It's the one that is currently courting(or recently confirmed?) Cha Seungwon to be one of it's main characters. It's written by the famous Hong sisters who did You're Beautiful and Master's Sun. It's said to be a modern fantasy romcom based on the novel Journey to the West. and it's set to air on tvN. Another name rumored to be attached to this project is actress Park Shinhye.
But like I mentioned, this is just a rumor as of now so just take this with a grain of salt.
But many on DC were expressing how they would love for the casting to be real. All of them citing that they miss seeing Bogum's acting and would love to see him on their tv screens soon. Some are quite positive that the casting is a possibility as both Bogum and Shinhye are the trendy young actors of this generation, obviously they were offered the scenario scripts especially Shinhye who have worked with the Hong sisters before. It is only a question on whether they accepted this as their next work or not. And also some of the other upcoming dramas listed in that same source have most of their actors attached confirmed.
But of course there are others who are doubtful of it simply because the combination of Cha Seungwon, Park Bogum and Park Shinhye would be too of an 'Avengers' level of casting. lol. It would be impossible to have that much top stars in a single drama. Plus there are no official news whatsoever. And also because it's tvN(cable tv) and for some reason they don't see either Bogum or Shinhye going back to cable after finding success on public broadcast channel. Which tbh I don't really understand because tvN is just as good as the other channels but ok whatever. lol
So what do you guys think? Will Bogum be gracing our tv screens with his presence soon? Well, who knows. But I'm confident to say that whatever project he choose next, he's gonna do great in them no matter what.

@gumtaek Hahaha. Yeah, you're right. It's great that he's sticking close to his image and real-life personality when it comes to endorsement selections.Shows that he's not a hypocrite and that he sticks to his life's principles and morals. He's naturally spreading his good influence to the people around him just by being himself.
I suddenly recalled the scene in Reply where he accidentally grabbed the cola instead of the glass with alcohol (which he was supposed to). I guess he instinctively and unconsciously grabbed the cola out of habit. That was really cute and funny how they just leave the scene be instead of NG-ing it. LOL. So even though he's just acting, our Bogummy still makes an unconvincing drinker on screen. XD and the fact that he has such a clean image and an innocent-looking face in real life doesn't help. I just can't imagine him acting all drunk on screen either. lol. Though we did get a glimpse of him being tipsy on YOF. hahaha

I love the fact that while most rising top stars usually shoot soju or beer commercials once their popularity explodes, but here is our precious Bogummy defying that trend by shooting an innocent Coca Cola commercial because he doesn't drink. Hahahaha. Love it. I find it very cute and admirable of him.

So excited to stream the award show later. It has been Bogum's dream to win the Best Couple award since last year. He wanted it with Seo Inguk. LOL XD So hopefully he'll finally get it this year(which I'm pretty sure KBS will give it to him as well as four other couples) and it would be great if Yoojung is there to receive it together with him.

Anyways, so excited for him. Praying that he does well and that the event will run smoothly. But I know that he'll do well. He's our Park Bogum after all! ;D

I've been away for a week but omg there's so many pages to catch up. haha. Anyways, thanks for the constant update and pictures, guys! Been skimming through the thread and it really makes me feel like I was attending the MY Fanmeet too eventhough I'm not. haha. Saw the pic of Bogum wearing the Baju Melayu (Traditional Malay clothing) and my oh my he looks so handsome in it.

Im currently overseas but thankfully i managed to grab my tix. Australian timing is 3 hrs apart from Singapore so the whole day i was frantically searching for free wifi and waiting for it to be 10am in SG. Hahaha XD it was rather torturous. Not to mention the slow internet connection.
I got the C section ard 11 rows away from the front which is totally fine with me. Just so glad i was able to grab whatever seat i can. Im so thankful to my friend (who's travelling with me) for being really understanding. Lol!

Wasn't planning on watching MAMA because I would be too busy doing last minute packing for my travel. But now I guess I'll have to watch just to have a peek of Bogummy looking all dashing in a suit while presenting an award. hahaha

Anyways, finally managed to watch the award show. Bogum looks extremelydashing in his suit. And of course, congrats to our boy for winning 2 awards!
The award show was honestly kinda meh, but I'm glad that he was enjoying himself yesterday along with his dongsaeng, Yoojung.

I'm so afraid of the SG FM not happening. Hopefully they'll be able to find a suitable organiser. SG is the only one I can go to. If only the KL FM was not on the 10th. If it's after that, I would've been able to go for that one. huhu ㅠㅠ
Anyways, excited for the awards ceremony but sadly won't be able to stream it live due to work. I'll wait patiently for someone to upload the whole show somewhere and watch it then.
In the meantime, I'll be stalking the thread, instagram, twitter and DC for red carpet photos. haha

Aww the bromance.
Bogummy is the type that treasures his friendship a lot. Doesn't matter if they're old friends or new ones, he treasures them all equally. I find that very impressive. It's not easy to keep in contact with people especially if you're a very busy person. I'm not even as busy as him but even I find it difficult to keep in touch with some of my old friends from school. lol

Happy 1 year anniversary to Reply 1988! Can't believe 1 whole year has gone by really fast. I felt like it was only yesterday i was anxiously waiting to livestream the show and spazz with other soompiers who were watching as well. We pretty much had our own version of Taek's room XD Thanks to the show and our dear Bogummy for introducing us to the legendary Choi Taek character. Funny because i just finished rewatching all the episodes today. What a coincidental timing. Haha. And now im thinking of rewatching IRY because I miss Bogummy so much.

okay. so if HK fanmeet is confirmed to be on the 17th of Dec then most probably SG fanmeet will be somewhere toward the end of Dec. That will be fine with me. Phew! *sigh of relief*
now I'm thinking of whether to drag my mum or my non-fan friend with me or just attend on my own.
I can predict that ticket prices will be expensive here though. Most fanmeetings held in SG are so dang expensive...
but its okay, it's Bogum. LOL

I think korean viewers are boycotting the best couple award voting for now hoping that mbc will change it. So their focus is now on the best drama category. But still i think our drama dropped to 2nd place for that as well. So please remember to vote!
