I just finished ep15 and 16. I actually like how IM and YJ being together... YJ's so freaking cute playing with IM...
was sorta hoping if ever YJ can actually change IM. the man seriously lack of loves... he really need one tho...
CH's dad seriously make me so annoying from 1st episode. not just he's coward, but he's also a liar, a killer... it's so easy to hate on DH because he's evil from the beginning and even with his appearance but CH's dad is like sneaky people-played-victim-card-monster. being treated badly by DH is bad enough but him being evil also... seriously... X(it's sad for CH to have a father like him... but then no matter what, he's still his father... no matter how evil he is. it's indeed sad that he also cant stand up with what he think is true... when he said to his dad when he can live but live as a demon really make me pity him so much... great guy but his own father ruined his life... poor guy...
I'm curious how things will turn out with a lot of things still yet to revealed... really make me curious on how IM will use that DNA result... ;

Just finished watching ep9 and 10 with subbed... A major sapazzing/rant on this drama ahead
ep9 and 10 seriously awesome!!!! seeing the adult casts is so good. they all fit their character so well. even Seo In Seo as Inhwa ^^Han Jihye as HJ too. gotta give credit to her since she definitely can carry the momentum of HJ left by Yoojung. she made me drenched with tears seeing how HJ's family is making her life so hard yet she's still trying her best. her brother, Youngjoo and even her mom seriously didnt understand her. being the breadwinner of the family since she was a child and until she's grown up, the whining brother still didnt change a bit, always making HJ's life more miserable. HJ seriously have a tough life. thought that as she grew older Youngjoo will be more mature but it turn out the otherwise... i'm glad that Jinjoo understand her sister's hardship. the fact that HJ's is the one that help her mother deliver JJ, probably make them more close as sisters.
no one can be KS as good as KJW. he totally fit with the character seriously. really2 love how they all matched well with their character, young and the adult one.
CH and HJ love story. tho i actually shipping HJ with KS since the beginning, seeing their 15 years relationship totally soften my heart for this couple. CH really love HJ. she's the reason he still have believe in happiness and now, his dad going to take that away from him. seriously, his dad make me so irritated and annoying everytime i saw him...
I realized that Il Moon still didnt recognize HJ yet right? good for him or else surely HJ's life in that company will be so miserable.
the auntie and the uncle. after 15 years, they still didnt get together yet? kekekekeke)the auntie is so cute... lol when Inhwa gave her mom the real-time broadcast of her aunt dating with the uncle lolz XD
after ep10, i really wonder how this drama will going on. will HJ's biological mom recognize her at all? how will KS get back his grandpa's company from evil Jang? this drama seriously getting better and better and I'm definitely going to stay until the end. glad that the ratings are doing good too>-

I just finished watching ep5&6 >_< this weekend totally spent on tracking back ep1-4 ^_^this drama is so freaking good ^^as an avid fan of Kim Yoojung since Moon Embraces the Sun, I admit I watch this because of her but then, the whole child actors actresses in this totally awesome. things that i like about Hae Joo tho she's being treated badly with her step-mother, as her childhood experience, at least, she felt being loved by her father. she's not being raised lack of love as her father really love her tho she's not his biological daughter. Ahn Naesang and Kim Yoojung father-daughter scenes always bring tears to my eyes... it's said that he's dead... because of these selfish mean people... X(
read comments at Nate on the article about this drama, people are concern whether Han Jihye can carry on the momentum that Yoojung bring to Hae Joo character... people just hope it wont be like MoonEmbracesSun with Han Ga In (tho personally i think HGI did just fine with Yeonwoo character tho the momentum is indeed different)since HJ character involved saturi (Ulsan accent), they thought it'll be pretty awkward with HJH but then, all of this have to wait until the adult actors come out ^^
so far, I really enjoy this drama with the child actors actresses ^^ (and so glad seeing Kim Yoojung and Yang Mikyung reunited back as mother-daughter after TMTETS ^^)Korean acting entertainment biz indeed will have a great future with these young people :DMay Queen Fighting!!! -

For me that scene should happen in seconds and no one can do anything about it, Not Hwon, Woon or the soldiers (BTW - almost all baddie dead accept for him, Good Soldiers should be able to rush and kill him). Logically it should happen in seconds so that's the flaw - Stupid PD nim. I wish I could clarify this with him.
Yeah I guess it is just not your cup of tea. But I think you ask the wrong person heheheh..... I bet if you ask me, Toho, Padhiri, SSK1, Old soul, Kelcy Azuzawa and others that are soooooooooooooo crazy of moon I am sure they can come up with 1001 reason.
I can give you 100 reasons - kekekekke - and it all will be because of Choonnaaaa intelligence and Wit... his Eunuch Hyun Seong?grin and not to mention JIW charisma. Han Ga In mole, the bath tub scene, the fake petals falling, the beautiful children and the best thing is MANYYYYYYYY MANYYYY OTP couple moment. The feel good feeling. You know most historical drama focus too much on politics, too many turn and twist, too many hidden staircase, dungeon, maze and sometime romance aspect was neglected but TMTETS is quite simple and focus on romance (Which is my cup of tea)
I think it is unfair to say TMTETS doesn't deserve the popularity. The actors work hard to meet deadlines. KSH acted great so did JIW and the others so I guess it's unfair to say TMTETS doesn't deserve the popularity, especially to us here that love the drama with all the flaws and the beauty. Don't you think so?

coz I believe you are in love with PSH from the Princess Man. kekekekek he is hot and I don't blame you.I watched princess man from 1st ep to 22 eps (I think) but I didn't watch the rest of the episode so... I guess liking something or saying a drama good or not, is kinda subjective. What we like doesn't mean good and vice versa. But I bet TMTETS touched many hearts... mine, my sisterssssssssssss, fren and many more.
KSH became household name - I think he deserve every bit of fame that came together with TMTETS and others that involved in the drama. You can call it timing, luck or whatever - to me I guess it is hard work by everyone in the production team.
Sorry in advance if my comment is too bold..... I hope you could enjoy TMTETS as much as I enjoy it.

other than Secret Garden, i cant think of other drama that can win my heart as much as this drama and secret garden did.Our Crown Princess Yeon Woo was one consistent character. As a young girl she was very intelligent, opinionated and very brave especially when she sees another person being wronged or taken advantage of. She will openly fight for someone who cannot fight for themselves, but she will never fight for her own self. I think this is were her breeding, her nobility and her upbringing come into play. She will fight for the sick, the poor and the oppressed, but not for herself. When she realizes her true identity and what has transpired for the past 8 years, there was a lot of expectation of her to kick richard simmons. Because Yeon Woo is mature beyond her years, she is smart enough to choose her battles. It was enough for me to hear those hurtful words she hurled at Min Hwa during their confrontation. This is what makes her a great Queen. She will not go ballistic. What she said to Min Hwa was more hurtful than any amount of slapping could have done. I think this was the best advice any person ever gave to Min Hwa---live and accept your punishment. I'm not sure if Min Hwa will ever be allowed back into the palace, but this ensured at least a future for her nephew to have a mother and for her brother to have a wife. For as long as Yeon Woo was by Hwon's side, she will always guide him in the right direction like she did as a young girl. She is his conscience, and she is his motivation to become a better king and a better person,

If there is one thing this drama is, it is that TMTETS is a fairy tale. It was a story of good versus evil where of course good prevailed over evil. It is a story of everlasting love, a love so strong that it defied even death. We may covet what somebody else has, even temporarily possess that thing, but in the end we will have to give it back because it was never ours to begin with. For all its flaws, the drama was so well loved. Why? Because it tugged us all right there in our hearts. We want to live in a world where good overcomes evil, where love transcends death, and for 3 months we laughed, we cried and we waited for our happy ending. I loved it for all its simplicity---no twists, no turns, no reversals. What makes it so good was that we really cared about these fictional characters. I could have a great critically acclaimed drama where everything was perfect from the writing, the directing and the acting, but I never got to the ending because I couldn't finish it because (really) I couldn't care. So for all the things this drama lacks, I will just take with me what it does have and that is heart. It took so long for me to write this because writing this would mean that I would have to let go of the drama. It's like having a child and upon realizing that that child has grown up we would have to let go.Thank you to all those who shared so much material and insights for this drama. Whether we agreed or disagreed, we were all here. So thank you and I sincerely apologize for a burdening you with a long post. Till the next drama.....
yep the simplicity and the general concept of the drama also what I think the reason why this drama is the National Drama. People just like to watch it because they didnt have to think to much and the romance from it also become the attraction of this drama

oh how i wish they can make a movie version of this drama or something... to fill these holes...
then again, 20 episodes of this drama is still satisfying for me

Yes, damn MBC, I just read the interview with Sun and Moon writer on soompi's homepage. She said script was originally written as 24 episodes and had to shorten it to 20. She wanted to cover Woon and Seol love line if she had more time. DAMN IT! DAMN MBC!!!

I guess writer-nim also like us... want to see the bodyguards of Hwon and YW together... what if... and again what if... Woon and Seol become together... that'll definitely add on to the romance in this drama... imagine "cloud" and "snow" together...

oh and the Minister Yoon's death should have been better. this guy has killed so many people to fulfill his and the QD greed. Prince Uiseong, Ari and etc. indeed, he should have been tortured to death... his death was so 'easy'

I've watched ep20 this morning and now it's another morning lol. I'm kinda late on posting here. was browsing back and reading back all post from other MoonSunners. I swear I think after Coffee Prince and Secret Garden, I never felt this kind of feeling of watching a K-Drama.
for always keep up with a drama thread, i think this is the first time that I always coming back forth to see everyone post here. I always lurking things up at bestiz to see any recent update on this drama and on their actors actresses.
I wonder how can one drama can make me being so silly and crazy like this. I got a final project to do yet I cant even give my full concentration. I think after this I can go back to my normal life
regarding on final episode, maybe I'm an easy person. for me, the ending is SATISFYING. I like the ending. though some aspect was kinda rushed (yep gotta admit YW-YW's mom reunion kinda didnt give me any feeling to it when it should have been
the rushed part definitely shown). Nam Bora's acting towards the ending episode definitely show even the underdeveloped Yeom's character too. I like the scene when YW meet with MH. somehow when she speaks to the princess, I can sense YW in her. the firm YW. these dialog "do you need my forgiveness. then I will give you forgiveness. For the sake of the king and my brother who are in pain cuz of you, in your place they begged for forgiveness-for the sake of the two people who are paying for your crime in your place, I will forgive you. but live. live and beg for that forgiveness yourself. take your punishment and atone. Not for my brother and the king but for yourself. " I can feel YW there.
how guilty MH and Yeom to YW that they both felt so thankful that YW was alive.
YM's death scene.... I'm bawling so much that I cant stop...
ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠyes he did chose to die himself... I understand why... but it just so sad.... Woon and YM's conversation was so touching.. their friendship... why it has to be end like that....
Bokyung's death. for me the most pitiful character would be this queen. S though she also got one-sided love, YM too, they both at least got other people around them. S got YW and Janshil. YM got Woon. Bokyung? she got only Servant Jo and that's only her servant not someone that she can share her feelings, that really understand her. indeed it's so pitiful for her to be born in as a Yoon and being the King's wife only by the name-sake. even with her mother, she always being reminded to not-let go her position as the queen and for that, she rather die while she still holding the Queen title. poor Bokyung
I also dont understand why NK has to die. poor Janshil to be left alone...
just like Fanderay's comment on her recap, YW-HW really have to live well since so many people has died for them.
this drama bring me laughter, tears, happiness for these past 3 month. I'm just so happy to be a MoonSunner. I felt thankful that I met many great MoonSunners in this thread that always being a lot of updates on this drama. thanks guys~

doesnt feel like want to leave yet... since KSH's OST they didnt play it in the drama, the song was on repeat. I love it so much as the meaning of the lyrics interpret a really deep Hwon's love for YW... it's so lovely... can get over it

I cant believe that I actually cried watching this teaser. I'm not crying because it's sad preview but because how I have been a great follower of this drama from it beginning. I felt so sad that I cant let go of this drama...
and I felt so sorry for Bokyung... her character was so pitiful...
she just ended killing herself but then what NK told her is indeed true. for keeping the truth that she know about her father involving in killing YW for the past 8 years makes her a criminal also... though it's unintentionally...or perhaps it's with intention.

Just finished watching ep19. Wow. what a heartbreaking episode
I didnt actually cried during YW-NK scene cause not really not into mood but during Yeom confront with MH abt her being involved in YW's death, make me tearing up. the way he blaming himself for it since if it's not him, the princess wont have that passion to involve in the process of killing her sister. that scene alone just show how much he loves his sister so freaking much than the princess. his eyes when he sees MH at that time was like full of anger... the fact that until the end, MH play innocent that somehow trigger the annoyance feeling to me. not like it never did before but since it's getting to the end the annoyance feeling just grew so much in me towards her character...

yep indeed somehow the fighting scene looks in-a-rush making for me. the sword stabbing part... somehow looks so unnatural. the flow of it... but then this scene is the one that make me bawling so much...
I didnt expect so much from Yeom character when he just watch her protecting him and only ran to her when Woon came but the fact that he was never knew how big Seol thought or feel about him that make me feel so sad for Seol.
I like how the scene have Yeom, Seol and Woon just like when young Seol peaking while young Woon and Yeom practicing swords together. it's like the connection between these 3 is there since they were child. Seol's lost affect a lot of people. Janshil, NK, Yeom and especially the most important one, YW
when YW tearing up in the room after hearing about the news, i can feel the sense of sadness from her. this girl is her friend, her family since she was still a child. somehow because of political reason, she's end up die...
NK when Janshil said to her that "looks like Seol's unnie is dead" and crying outside... NK took these 3 kids and took care of them for the past 8 years. they all are like her kids. even if she always ordering them around but somehow the feeling of mother still there.
I just sad that Yeom and Seol character was so underdeveloped. Yeom was actually one of the F4 in the early drama and as the drama turn to the adult one, it's like his character has been forgotten. it only revived on the finale episodes and Yeom used to be the person that connect the characters of YM,Woon and HW but in the end he was like being left out and only YM, Woon and HW that stay around... it's kinda sad...
one of supporting character that i like, Bae Noori's Janshil. though her character is small, she manage to perform so well. her eyes acting, her crying acting so awesome
Queen Dowager scene:
during her dying time when she flash back of what her grandson and son tell her, it's like all of her bad deeds are haunting her back until before she died. the things that her son said to her "dont be so greedy". it's like her greed that eat her up back and in her case, it's her greed that killed her. Yeah! serve you right for trusting so much on your own nephew LMAO XD since he can f**ked up anyone including his own daughter, you're not missing out either! lol XD -pardon my language
-Bokyung-Shaman scene:
I was sorta lol when that shaman scream and fall down. LOL XD you're not as strong as NK yet you still sure that you can perform the ritual LMAO XD. she's the head shaman when Ari and NK just a normal shamans. then NK become the head shaman. NK absent for 8 years is the only time she can be the head again. it just show your power is not as powerful but has the greed to overcome others lol XD on the other side, Kim Minseo again! her performance is so great. yeah Bokyung become crazier but her scared and terrified performance just so perfectly done. kudos to her.
the start scene of YW and HW playing the game so cute. I want to see these kinds of scenes more in tomorrow episode (oopps, tonight episode since it's already thursday now
). I felt so sad that it's indeed the last episode. I dont know but i dont think that I'm ready yet to let this drama go.... -written at 3:44am, will be going to bed now. got class at 9 a.m. tomorrow OTL let's hope we still got a great ending for tonight MoonSunners
