LOL I knew SH was going to beat the Assistant Director up because SH once told BN that he doesn't hit people because it costs money (for compensation), so his actions show how much he likes JH.
I don't think the next episode will be sad beyond the first 20 minutes or so. I think JH is just overwhelmed because their marriage was so easy because it was just contractual but now that there are feelings involved, it's become more complicated, including having to deal with SH's father's expectations. SG probably told SJ about SH worrying about JH rather than JM, and SJ then told JH so I'm sure JH knows that SH likes her back.

Wow there are some interesting theories in here. I don't think it's really all that complicated. There are parallels between the failed attempts for marriage of the HR-WS couple and the JM-SH couple, and SH has been dropping hints throughout the entire drama while expressing his views on marriage/relationships/personalities. For instance, his words on the ability of marriage to draw out one's ambitions/desires, the expectations of parents on their children, the importance of a house, the scariness of money, Maslow's hierarchy of needs, among others. Also, he told WS that after feeling at peace, space grew in his heart (to like JH) and he realized that through this marriage. I thought JM would reflect WS (wanting to delay marriage to pursue her dreams) but the fact that JM was the bitter one to break off the relationship makes me think that it was SH who wasn't ready for marriage back then and JM realized that. Now JM is a successful, likely single, director/CEO of a production company. I think HR will also focus on her career now that marriage is no longer her dream. Maybe they're the "red coats", or maybe they both end up marrying other guys, who knows? I just want to hear SH's backstory already and see the romance blossom!

Omg in the preview, it's so cute how SH has been jotting down notes about JH nearly every day (e.g., she stared at me with a weird look, she took the contract to the cafe, she throws darts well, she snores).
I have a feeling he probably did this with all his previous roommates to keep track of their actions/compatibility (remember this guy also kept scores/charts on his roommates) but w/ JH his notes became less related to being roommates and more about his growing interest in her as a person. so cute!

Ep 11 ending was nice but I can't help but feel that the pay-off would have been bigger if we knew more about SH's backstory. Yea, he loved and lost, but what had happened that made SH close up yet JH's words were able to affect him so much. I really hope they start ep 12 with SH's backstory with the understanding that SH is sharing it w/ JH, so that we can enjoy their budding romance more.

It was most likely the script writer's idea and the staff and Irene were all in on it to prank PBG. If it was a real incident, the PD would tell PBG to wrap up and/or the camera would switch immediately to the stage, but the cameraman actually zoomed out to show Irene. And no way this would all go down without the main PD's prior consent.

LJS regained some of his popularity w/ Pinocchio, where he was paired with PSH whom China loves, so most of his followers are probably Chinese. However, in Korea, people still bring up his previous scandal (which I thought was stupid anyway bcuz most stars act like that and his video was just blown out of proportion). Unfortunately, a star's domestic reputation impacts their brand image, and it's known that LJS lost all his CF deals. That's why he needs a hit drama asap.

Wow I hope this drama is really good because both HHJ and LJS have horrible reputations in Korea right now due to their previous scandals (HHJ covering for her brother's involvement in mass bullying a fellow soldier who later committed suicide, and LJS ignoring his fan at the airport shortly after getting big). SHK was also hated on a lot due to her multi-million dollar tax fraud scandal but the huge success of DOTS allowed her to regain her reputation, so maybe they can too?

Everything is about selling distribution rights to China these days, so they'll probably try to cast a female lead with a substantial Chinese fanbase, such as Yoona, Krystal, PSH, Suzy, etc.

Lol saw the news on naver. I KNEW he was going to choose a sageuk for his next drama (although I thought he would do a movie first). Whoever the female lead is, I feel sorry for her already cuz she's going to get soooo much hate when the casting news comes out.

Finally found time to watch the first ep. LOL OMG this drama is soooooo full of itself. The random knife fights, the sudden blasts of music, the freakin 1000 frames of that damn curtain being pulled between the main characters...a military chopper in the middle of Seoul!!!! SJG is seriously carrying this show (his character is boring af but the actor pulls it off), the second leads are pitifully tragic but interesting, and SHK still can't act.
Despite all this, I will probably still watch because I'm interested in the humanitarian assistance aspects (it's the first time a Korean drama has covered MSF/DWB and the UN), but if they screw that up I will drop this drama so fast.

I'm still spazzing about this practice photo 30 min later because we rarely get to see them behind-the-scenes, which is why I like when they finish their closing remarks on MuBank and return to their normal selves with each other.

PBG did say he wants to film something where he can wear a school uniform before it's too late, so it would be cute if they were in a teen drama together. But when is Irene going to start acting? ㅠㅠ

I don't think there's an official korean ship name for them, but I have seen them referred to once as 보배 (bobae), which means "treasure" in Korean. lol
I always see comments on articles supporting the two as a couple, but I don't think anyone seriously believes they're dating (more like they have rumors with other people). They probably still get complaints/threats though, because I've noticed that Irene especially is reluctant to touch him (once she forgot and then hurriedly took her hand off his arm with an "oh richard simmons"expression) and she's always mindful of the cameras at the ending. But PBG still initiates skinship and waits for her at the end.
It's also so cute to see PBG look after Irene. It's probably because he's so gentlemanly and she is the type that you want to help out haha. I read a fan account from the Sky Incheon festival that PBG would help Irene up the stairs and help her cover her skirt. I also found some random bts pics (there was also a video from the mid-year mubank where they're both wearing black and white, but I can't remember the site I saw it at. They were coming down the stairs and PBG just nonchalantly reached out and held her arm).

The last episode was mainly about BR-SW and DS-Taek. Thought most of the future adult scenes were pretty unnecessary (except when they were talking about going back in time). They could have shown more DR and JH instead.
edit: actually, now that I think about it, most of the future adult scenes were basically narrating the story so I guess they needed to be there. I was sad about the lack of JH and DR during the episode but once they started wrapping up and showing the moves/flashbacks, I got all warm and fuzzy and just went awwww, that was a sweet story. the end!

DS was reading her old diary and saw that page where she wrote about it, so she went to throw it out but Taek came by and took the page from her and read it but after DS took it back and asked him if he read it, he told DS he didn't. But later when SW came home, Taek hit him hard. lol

I don't know if I can bear watching the DS-Taek lovey dovey scenes in the final episode; one, because I'm so used to shipping DS-JH, and second, because I ship PBG with RV's Irene (lol I know their MC lines are scripted but they're so darn cute!).
I read an article stating that they still have to address the pink shirt, the whereabouts of the fiance ring, and the reason Taek brought up the wallet again, so it seems we'll see all that in ep 20. It would be cute if the pink shirt leads JH to his final love (so curious who will cameo).

^ I couldn't see the image posted above so I went into HJM's DC gallery and was so surprised to see that so many fans are angry at her right now! I didn't read all the the details but it appears she was in frequent contact with [one of?] her private fansite and now the other fansites are feeling shafted (at least I think that's why?). Her manager even contacted DC and BH Ent. even wrote a post apologizing. Many fans are incredibly disappointed in her right now, including her long-time fans. This is pretty sad news.

That was the most useless preview ever. The characters better not all mope around for an entire episode.
The Reply series always start well but then get so draggy and uselessly convoluted towards the end as the production team vies for higher ratings.
