i'm so confused. i backtracked the last 10 pages, but i'm still confused. yg's msg says that AFTER bb end their activities NEXT SPRING, gd will release his solo album. so does that mean 2009? or THIS summer? b/c some of you are spazzing about him doing his group and solo activities THIS august. i'm so confused. can someone clear this up for me? maybe it's my reading comprehension skills...

i agree.....the only thing im worried about here is the rash decisions YG seems to make sometimes may just cause a rift between GD and YB...we dont know the inside story but what if YB didnt really want his version to be released by GD...we all know how popular GD is, and just when YB was getting his share of the limelight...YG decides to let GD's version out...for all we know YB could be hecka pissed (i doubt it but people have emotions too and he's only human) and i think YB might just feel a little bad...i mean he worked his butt off to bring the song to #1...and GD can get it to the top of the cyworld charts in a mere couple of hours?? also, i remember reading once that YB didnt like to be compared to GD and he's lived in GD's shadow for sometime now....i know GD is extremley talented...theres no denying the fact and his music and voice is amazing but if that were the case....then why not just do a whole new song?? and if he really wanted to cover the song then why not release a remix version with GD's rap incorporated into YB's original song.....
just my two cents....im hoping its not like that...but u never know...i think the song should have just been kept YB's....i mean all the members were featured in the music video..so already he's got them there.....idk....
awww i never knew yb felt like he'd been living in gd's shadow. whyyyyyy? their styles/specialties are so different! yb is a great singer/dancer and gd is a good rapper/stylist lol. even their personalities and physiques are the opposite. they're both awesome in their own ways. yb T_T

the remix was alright. i think gd was playing with the voice synthesizer too much or something. during the chorus he sounds like he's underwater.
and considering that they're advertising this track as "youngbae vs. gdragon" i doubt the two actually have ish. or else they would keep the rivalry on a down-low. so no worries, ladies ;P
edit: my favorite part is when he sounds like he's growling lol. so aggressive and sexy.
i feel like gd's version is like the narrator explaining himself. b/c taeyang's version sounds kind of selfish (the lyrics) so i feel like gd was trying to use his version to justify that lol (also, gd's version is naughtier? he changed "meet eyes w/ another girl" to "meet lips w/ another girl" :X)

THAT WAS THE HOTTEST MOTHER EFFIN PERFORMANCE E.V.E.R.
DYB is one sizzlin hottie. you can feel his passion through the song (and dance). omo, his expressions were pure love.
and yes, i wish that shirt stayed up. shy kid had to pull it down ;P

hi, can someone tell me about kim ha eun's role in this drama? i'm sad she isn't one of the leads here. she was awesome in hansungbyulgok. what's her character's relationships to the other characters? she always seems kinda angry in the screen caps posted here. lol. thanks~

^ I know what you mean, but actually it seems as if a lot of the daily/weekend family dramas are like that now. Golden Age of Daughter-in-Law and I Hate You But It's Fine had stories where the characters were already in a long-term relationship - and started off from there.
I wish we knew exactly how the rich guy and third daughter met and fell in love.. but I guess it'll just be kind of told to us
the rich guy tells his mom how they met in one of the episodes (sorry i can't remember which). i wasn't really paying attention, but i think he said that he first met her when he saw her helping someone on the street and a car ran into her and the guy she was helping. the rich guy said he saw her doing that good deed and fell for her so they started dating.

i have to admit, i fastforward nearly all the parts except lee yuri's (third child) storyline. it's not b/c it's boring but b/c i don't have the time/concentration to watch the entire episode. i <3 the elders though.
edit: i think it's also interesting that the drama starts where it does. i feel like i missed the first 50 episodes or something because usually dramas start off with the characters (esp the lovers) meeting each other. but this drama starts with all three pairs already having known each other and bound for marriage (or nearly getting to that point). it's not a bad thing, just interesting :]

thanks for the links. it helped me sort of. i still don't get some specific occurrences/motives but whatever. i was reading dramaok's summaries and i think there's some misinterpretation regarding the conversations between sang gyu and wol hyang.
at the end of ep 6, he says that he will never forget "nang ja," thus referring to na young, not wol hyang. i don't think he ever refers to wh as "nang ja." so then he sleeps with her because he's lonely.
and at the beginning of ep 7, when wh says she wants to follow him, he says he doesn't have the confidence to forget ONE woman, again referring to na young, not wol hyang.
haha these are such little things, but i'm really picky, especially matters concerning the two lovers. i think it sucks that wh is pregnant with sg's child, and that sg and ny never got any intimate times together beyond their memories. i realize this drama is tragically realistic, but i thought the love story at least would be as idealistic and pure as possible. oh well. great drama, nonetheless.
oh, and random facts: upon researching jin yihan and kim haeun, i found out that he's 30 years old (debuted late b/c he was a musical performer before, which is awesome btw) and she's under jyp entertainment (i didn't know jyp had any actors under his wing. cool).

hi, i just started watching this drama and i am utterly confused! who is nayoung working for? park's dad? who's on who's side? who is that freaky palace lady who takes nayoung under her wing? who's side is she on? why are all the seemingly "good" people (the ones who want to create a choson for the commoners) dying? someone please explain the factions to me because it would really make the experience better. i don't need subtitles; just an explanation of the groups, including where nayoung fits in.
anyways, GREAT drama. very well made. kudos to the directing, producing, acting, etc team! :]

omg i am so excited for this. not only does it include many of my fav actors (ryu jin, lee yuri-finally! she appears in another drama. this girl is so pretty yet underrated), but the subject is about lawyers

i actually thought ep 13 was pretty intense! people are starting to realize that they underestimated yi san. OMG ep 14 looks soooooooo good!!!

LOL i seriously laughed so hard reading susmariosep and sophia's comments; not b/c they're critical of bb but just the way the commentary is written and how a lot of it is sooooo true!
i also thought that bb was being a little too "pop"-y. i was watching some old yg family mv's and they're pretty hardcore for the korean ent industry. yg's changed.
the mv is really cool. i like the whole concept of them being "invisible" and following the girl. :]

i really like han ji min! i hope this will be a break-through role for her. she stated before that she doesn't get a lot of the roles she wants because she looks really young (i guess height has some influence as well). but she's a great actress so i hope this drama will allow her to grow and shine!
man, i still wish she and kang ji hwan were going out. they are sooooo cute together!!!

i am sooooo looking forward to this drama! i really like han ji min and her previous works, like "good person" and "resurrection" but especially "capital scandal". i also admire the pd and his previous works. hopefully this drama will be as mega-popular as his previous works! oh, and i like lee jong soo too. i think he's really underrated as an actor. go "yi san- king jung jo"!

i never really thought much of ha ji won before, but after seeing her in hwang jini, i have a new respect for her. she seems like an extremely humble, hard-working person (that news article kind of reinforces that thought). she seems to have a friendly relationship with all her co-stars and comes across as a down-to-earth person. i'm beginning to feel as if she's pretty underrated now. i hope she attains more serious credibility and fame, especially in the film industry, now.

i think all three characters involved in the triangle are foolish. eunah-she just needs to hurry up and make up her mind already. kibum-why is he still going out with eunah?? (they were on their way to the movies together in ep 228). jihoo-he's being way too aggressive and self-pitying. all three are making horrible decisions and letting this dramatic triangle consume them. i seriously thought it would end after everyone found out eunah got her memory back but it's dragging! which couple, if any, could possibly happen now that kibum and jihoo hate each other now and eunah is just caught in the middle. i'm glad rainbow romance is ending soon. it's just a big mess right now.

question...did chae yeon ever win #1 on one of the music shows (sbs inki gayo, etc)?
if not, she sure deserves to! i think she dances better than many female artists and she hecka sings better than most!

i don't think she was crying because of what kjk said concerning yeh. she was crying because she was touched that he remembered her from back then. also, she probably thought of everything that happened from that time they first met to now, which were a very hard 10 years for her, so she got teary.
yea chae yeon seems like a really nice and down-to-earth person-- that's why everyone likes her. yet despite her happy appearance, this girl does have a lot painful memories and experiences. i heard that on ysmm she said that her college boyfriend died and after that she didn't want to love anymore, and then there's her whole failed career in japan where she even had to sleep on the streets. i think her past shaped who she is today, always trying her hardest and very humble and caring towards others.

my personal favs:
CAPITAL SCANDAL (great main and supporting casts. rare)
HANSEONG BYEOLGOK (CONSPIRACY IN THE COURT)
SUNFLOWER (old hospital drama w/ kim heesun, ahn jaewook, han jaesuk. they weren't that great. it was the supporting cast that totally made this drama for me)
other great ones:

DAE JANG-GEUM (great supporting cast)
LAST VICTORY (old bball drama w/ jang dong gun, shim eunha, etc)

if you want a truly great drama, avoid the major "blockbuster" productions. they tend to lack plot and/or acting ability.
