i'm fine with them dragging the love triangle because that means more kibum-eunah scenes. seriously, they are so cute together! especially when they're affectionate towards each other, like when he keeps messing up her hair in 213, their first kiss scene in 215, and when ill kibum tries to steal kisses from her in 218. you can tell they're close in real life because half the time they don't seem like they're acting but actually just goofing off!
also, i don't blame kibum for his actions. he doesn't know that jihoo likes eunah, so he thinks he can just win over her feelings with his love. plus, it's not like he's taking advantage of her because actually eunah approached him first.

it would be so incredibly sad for kibum if eunah somehow forgets all her current memories with kibum and ends up with jihoo. and then kibum would say something drama-ish like, "it's okay, because i'll remember all our memories" or something stupid like that. hahaha

i for one find the kibum-eunah couple extremely cute. especially when he rubs her head like a dog (i think go eunah's laugh and squirming are real haha). i hope the story goes toward eunah liking kibum and forgetting ji hoo. her going back to jihoo seems too bland. kibum-eunah, hwaiting!
and for that spoiler material, i'm scared it may just be attempts and not really happen =(. we'll see.

'chil princesses' is a little over halfway done, but they already used up so many of the plot conflicts already! the two biggest ones were suhl chil's adoption and suhl chil and mi chil's rivalry (over family love, il han), but both of those were resolved. so if the number of episodes was not extended the drama would probably have been winding down by down and suhl chil and ha nam would be getting married soon. but there's still 34 episodes left! what will the writer fill those with? can all 4 sisters' problems (duk chil's remarriage, suhl chil and ha nam facing disapproval, mi chil's wedding problems, and ddeng chil's pregnancy and marriage woes) cover all that? or are they going to throw in something new to the plot?

if i had to rank the characters by personality...
1. sang mi: she's the only character with any guts, loyalty, rationale, and strength. she's the strongest character of the four, as she's had the roughest life but remains the most optimistic, caring, genuine, bold, and loyal. even though the other 3 characters treat her like crap, she continues to care for them and tries to do what's best for others. she's slow to blame others and instead blames her own flaws, while the rest don't seem to notice how messed up they are. seriously, neither rex nor hyuk joo (especially the latter) deserves her. the only problem with her is that she's TOO loyal and nice, which makes her seem pitiful and stupid at times.
2. rex: a bit too spoiled and self-pitying, but he's a pretty decent guy. he genuinely cared for hee soo. and he was an richard simmons to sang mi until episode 11 but he's better now.
3. hee soo: she's ambitious, which can be admirable, but when you dump your family, friends, and any sense of dignity it becomes distasteful. not only that, but she has the gall to turn to all the people she abandoned when she's weak (which is most of the time because she's got a big head and thinks she can make it in the real world), and she becomes more pitiful when she wonders why others abandon her.
4. hyuk joo: i like ji hyun woo but his character is one of the stupidest ones out there. he is a total hypocrite, walking around being stubborn and prideful when he is actually is not that decent a person at all. he was the biggest jerk to sang mi. he even called her a "gi ji bae" or richard simmons when earlier he got all mad when she called hee soo that. he seriously has been using her this entire time while pining for hee soo. he's so pathetic. if he ever felt a bit of gratitude towards sang mi he would go ahead a make promises to her but they turned out to be all empty. he was never there for her because he was busy being concerned about hee soo. seriously, what the hell HAS he done for her except use her money, time, feelings, and expel all his frustration with life/hee soo at poor sang mi? he's just like hee soo, turning his back on the one who cared and suffered for him the most. i'm glad his gangster members are disappointed in him, and that in the next episode sang mi will be cold to him. he had that coming.
i also hate how the girls in this drama are so talentless and pitiful while the guys are freakin stars. what's up with that?!

now that i think about it, it seems like there's no chance for kibum-eunah.
i would be highly surprised if there was a turn in events and the couple worked out. -
i think both kibum and jihoo have a chance with eun ah so far.
from ep. 203 onward,
kibum will find out that eunah likes jihoo and that jihoo likes eunah back but only backed off because of the boys' friendship, and he'll get mad at jihoo and help eun ah and jihoo get together...
OR
jihoo will back off and eunah will get sad and turn to kibum and realize how good he is to her and fall for him. and jihoo will just sadly watch their romance grow.
support for jihoo-eunah: she likes him. constant bickering. he likes her back. (typical couple set up thus far). he beat kibum in getting money for eunah's tuition. he set up a romantic birthday "date" for her.
support for kibum-eunah: major character. first love. knows her best. secretly cares for her. beat jihoo in buying the birthday gift for eunah (though this could have been just a plot ploy in jihoo discovering that kibum likes eunah, but i'm hoping it's more of a forshadowing move).
i'm rooting for kibum and eunah because he's just too sweet. but jihoo-eunah seem to be stronger so far and more likely. every time there's a kibum-eunah-jihoo storyline, kibum seems like the third wheel and more concentration is giving to jihoo (does kim kibum have a busy schedule lately or something? he doesn't seem like a major character anymore.) sadness...
and i disagree that kibum's feelings for eunah were too dramatic. they met after a long time apart so he couldn't like her right away. but seeing her everywhere made him consider her in a different light and he found himself caring for her more and more, even more than he does for jihoo. i find his feelings for eunah very selfless, though this may just serve to relate to how he'll do what he deems is best for eunah and send her to jihoo later. more sadness...

yea, suhl chil is sort of going overboard with her reactions, but you have to understand that she believes that her present parents tore her away from her biological mom and raised her so that they could "make up" for the dad's guilt of having killed her father. plus, she lived a life obediently following all her dad's wishes and being the dutiful, stable, reliable family member (ugh you know the other 3 sisters are really kind of immature and unstable), all the while suppressing her own desires and emotions for the sake of the family. so her misunderstanding of her parents and her own suppressive lifestyle formed the betrayal and bitterness she feels towards her family now.
i knew IT (about hanam). i suspected it when he snapped at il han and it was reaffirmed when suhl chil cut him off. no wonder he acts way beyond his young age! people are more likely to be more mature and understanding if they've had a lot of tramatic life experiences. and my mom exclaimed that now hanam and suhl chil can totally get together without any disapproval from their parents (despite his age/occupation and her age/background)! haha!
yea, seriously, tae ja really needs to grow up already. you can tell how ddeng chil has matured after marriage, but tae ja has stayed pretty static- irresponsible and selfish. i like lee seung gi, so he better freakin mature already!

i think eun ah should be with ki bum. which is funny considering i only started watching rainbow romance because of yoon ji hoo.
at first i wanted ji hoo and eun ah to get together (i can't help it, i love couples who bicker XP), but now that ki bum likes her i think he and eun ah fit more. ji hoo and eun ah both have strong personalities- his strict business mindset and her stubborn independence. they each need someone who is more mellow and can loosen their disciplined egos.
so i think eun ah and ki bum match more, plus like everyone else said, i want ki bum to find romance! ;P

and yeah i was wondering what hanam was doing there...i mean even if its a part time job...he doesnt really need one...and if its to forget suhchil...then thats a weird choice at the same time. he could have picked something else that was painful on the body, yet safer~
even still, i couldnt believe that he was soo happy that he got a message from her, that he forget to be careful in his surroundings...ahhh...well i guess this just means that it will lead to a final decision for suhchil~
ha nam was working at the construction site because he remembered suhl chil telling him that when the mind is in despair, it's okay to use physical exertion to forget about it (like when she went through unnecessary boot camp many episodes back when she was upset about il han). so ha nam is working there to relieve his feelings i guess.
its suhchil, cause even in an episode, her father tells her that since shes the unni, she can reprimend her sister when shes wrong. or something like that..

and regarding your other questions about the "seven" in the name...
even the site translates it as famous princesses...and not seven...so maybe it was a mistake, or something that will be explained later on...or just to elude the fact that the sisters are as powerful together like that of 7 sisters combined...

hmm i have to much time on my hands to think of these possibilities...haha...
this question will never die, will it? each of the four sisters has the character "chil" in their names (it's common for korean siblings to share one character of the two characters in their names). yes, it means "seven" in korean numbers but the title of the drama comes from the sharing of that character (it's like if two siblings were named judas and judy, they would be called the jud siblings). i think the writer may have used a character that also means a number on purpose to make it confusing and weird. so the drama title would be the famous chil princesses, if you just took the chil as a character in their names and not by the number.
okay sorry for all these long explanations. hope you understand.

in ep 219, when the car was coming towards eunah, why didn't kibum do anything? that makes me think that the writers have in mind to put eunah and jihoo together ultimately. =(
