  1. @qynnKim Kang Woo is a great actor, he won some foreign movie awards before too Iirc.

I’ve watched two of Director Park Hoon Jung’s movies, Night in Paradise with Jeon Yeo Been and The Witch with Kim Da Mi. Both great movies btw, you should check it out.

Kim Da Mi also auditioned for her role and she was great in the movie. She won several awards for it and even gave her a big break. So I have faith in the director’s choice of actors especially for Kang Tae Ju.

I have my doubts about Go Ara too, I have watched some of her dramas and her acting needs imporvement. But we’re really not in the position to be picky about his co-actors and just have to trust and hope that the movie will do well.

  2. Anyone else missing our dimple prince? It’s been almost a month since we last saw him and I’m missing him terribly. We were so spoiled with Kimsda, his insta posts, Homecha and 2d1n and now it’s all gone :crybaby:

but I’m happy that brands unarchived him, his insta followers keep growing, he’s still dominating AAA and the media is now quiet. The waiting game is hard but hopefully he’s recovering from all this

  3. I think people are allowed to feel what they want to feel whether it’s feeling angry, sad or betrayed. People process grief in different ways.

I am with @lolly though and will not nitpick the members’ actions. I saw this post on reddit and echo the same sentiments as OP. Here is a part of it:

“Personally, I lean towards the latter. I do not want to invalidate KSH’s relationship with the other members and personally believe that their friendship was genuine. I will never second guess their relationship because it was not me who spent two years with him and will not base it on the lack of social media posts and public spport for him. They do not owe me anything. And honestly I don’t need the feel to be validated by them speaking out on behalf of him. As the people who are closest to him, they probably have an idea on how best to support him, maybe it’s not talking about him so the issue just dies down, who knows? Anything they say will just get taken out of context and twisted by media. There’s a lot happening behind the scenes, more than we will ever know. What he needs now is private support more than public support.”

  4. @egluvsnupiughhh that statement. We’re not expecting them to put him back m, even Seon Hi himself wouldn’t want that. At least, respect his time on the show by acknowledging his existence and contributions. Let the members talk freely about him. Don’t treat him as if he’s a criminal and never existed at all. It’s all we’re asking for

  5. @egluvsnupii read that comment too, it’s been circulating twitter. I’m sure the times with his brothers/members are all real. Calling their relationship fake would be unfair to Kim Seon Ho and the other members just because they couldn’t speak about him or the lack of posts on social media. Their hands are tied and they are technically still under KBS. They have his number, they know where he lives. I don’t think they owe us anything just to justify their relationship. Anything they say will just be taken out of context when we all just want things to quiet down already.

I’m angry at how the theme of 2d1n is about family and brotherhood, geared towards families on a Sunday yet they erased his existence and minimized it to a small change. We understand that he may not want to come back to the show at all but at least don’t erase his existence and let the other members keep mentioning him. That’s all we ever really want from them. Them skirting around the issue just is somehow insinuating that he did legal and criminal things when the only wrong thing that happened was his personal issues got in the way. That’s not even his fault that something that should have stayed private was aired out into the public

  6. I’m so sad. I read the Naver article where Moon Se Yoon indirectly referred to his departure by saying “there will be some changes but I promise I will repay you as much as the love you have received.”

    Article

Well, that’s it. It’s time to close this chapter of his life. And as much as I want him back, I’d have to respect his choices from hereon. After experiencing what he did, he has every right for his choices to be respected and accepted by his fans even if that means we’ll see less of him in the future.

  7. @2d1n_fanthank you so much for explaining! Kim Seon Ho is the first and only Korean celebrity I followed because of his acting. I didn’t know what or who Dispatch is prior to this.

I’m happy he got some of his CFs back and the Sad Tropics movie, sad about 2d1n though. Although, I think he would have eventually left the show because of his busy schedules, his sudden departure has been painful to accept.

It was also uncomfortable reading the chat messages as those are really private conversations but it had to be done to address and clear the allegations against him for forced abortion.

I truly hope things are much better for him from here on out.

    @confusedkfan

I’ve talked to some friends who work in legal and their theory is that Salt came up with some form of agreement with CYA hence the retraction of her statement just a few days later. This agreement could have included signing an NDA, and both parties agreeing not to say anything anymore hence why Salt keeps on saying they have nothing to say. Salt then proceeded to work with Dispatch to provide the evidence to clear his name. Since they couldn’t say anything, Salt just let Dispatch do all the work. I know how far-fetched this sounds but from what I read, Dispatch works with agencies and lets them know prior to releasing anything.

It sounds bad because then it would mean that Dispatch has been paid to do this by Salt but also seems plausible.

It has been really stressful to watch all this unfold as a fan what more for KSH. I can’t imagine the pain he’s going through right now.

  8.

So this is my first k celebrity issue. I liked his theater works and eventually came to love him in 2d1n.

Seeing this unfold has all been surprising to me, not to mention it has been stress and anxiety inducing.

Just a question, how reliable is Dispatch? I’ve read conflicting things about them and knew nothing about them prior to this.

Some people are saying dispatch is always out to expose celebrities dating and that this is something new for them to do (new in the sense that they’re trying to clean his name). Some are saying that Dispatch and his agency could have made all the evidence since it seems so staged.

On the other hand, some are saying that Dispatch has always been right since they do a lot of research and follow celebrities around.

I honestly don’t know what to believe.

The whole cancel culture in Korea regarding these issues has also shocked me. He is a very talented actor and seems such a waste to be cancelled over something that happened in his personal life. Seems like the public sentiment is siding towards him now after those Dispatch articles.

Can someone enlighten me on this?
