Has been a long time since I wrote, season is coming to the end. Followed up all your content, great work guys...
Sometimes I just wish this doesn't end and I get to see Han Yeo Jin and Hwang Si Mok's life everyday. But that will delude and dupe the ethos of the show... (self-contradicting
)
Cherished that scene where HYJ went for HSM in pain, holding him, being there for him (eternal comrades)
I last thing I posted was about curiosity of Yeo-jin's part background, but we got just a mention of her grand ma...
As already some of you have listed there are a few things need to be taken care of. But I am personally interested in these sentimental ones
1. Yoon's package
2. Si-mok's home visit
3. Dying to see our leads in a romantic angle (though won't be dissatisfied if not, they are pretty enough like this also)
Tell me if I left any emotional gaps??
Though I have been dreaming about a situation, where similar to S1 HSM asks HYJ about having a boyfriend. But unlike S1, this time he seriously asks as a man. That would be iconic,,
Since I already started fantasizing, bear one more - Speculating how HSM would react when HYJ is in danger?? That would be epic, right!!

Olaenman-ieyo ChingudeulHas been a long time since I stopped writing, but this show compelled me to pick it up again. I had already watch ed the S1 before the S2 got announced. Since they a huge fan of Hwang Si Mok and Han Yeo Jin.
The kind of bond they had was surreal and the journey with which it progressed was so amazing to watch.
Some fans are not happy with the PD changing. Definitely, the previous season was fantastic, no doubt about that. They way he picturized the scenes was so good and he maintained a balance between heart-fluttering moments and friendship. The romantic it me somehow imagined both of them together. But I wasn't disappointed with the ending.
Here comes the new PD-nim. It will be interesting to watch how he portrays the story line between them.
One ting a missed in S1 was that back story of Han Yeo-jin was not discussed at all. Or did I missed anything?
I hope they explore that part. Because Si Mok's past was shown.

I feel that Seokhyung needs to have a proper closure with his ex-wife and move on, Idk why but I hope his ex-wife helps him to realise that it's okay for him to find a new person to accompany him despite his background story...
regarding IkSong couple, I am that person who is going back and forth between whether Songhwa's first love is Ikjun or someone else (and I am pretty much convinced it's Junwan, anyone with me?). But reading the interview of Shin PD, it could be debunked. And idk why I think IkSong will be another slow burn romance in S2 as it seems Songhwa is contemplating a lot and careful abt it. I feel that IkSong will end up tgt at the end of S2 just like Winter Garden is concluded at the end of S1 or even at the end of S3 lol sorry!
Anyway, HP is that drama which makes you hard to move on and can't get over with. I am in the phase of withdrawal now and find it hard to watch some other dramas that I am currently watching as well. HP has become my all time fav!
S2 is still loooong way to go
It can be true that JunWan is Song Hwa's first love, but with the level of comfortability she shows around JunWan doesn't seem to verify that logic. And her hesitation around IkJun makes the atmosphere intense.
The too have supported the Bidulgi couple since start, but as I have mentioned previously also, I want to see more effort from IkSun's side into this relationship. Hope I see some chasing done by Iksun in next season (that will be actually fun to watch, given her character)
Everyone is facing similar withdrawal symptoms dear. Don't worry (geogjeongmayo)
Let's stay safe and strong till Season 2 comes.

Been a long time since I write or read the topic.
As mentioned before, HP is a part of Wise life series, which was quite simple and obvious in itself in terms of love lines. No tornadoes. It will keep its basics to normal life (as we all witnessed in Season 1), dealing with heart-touching interactions among the Fab 5 and also with the side characters (mainly patients in HP and were co-prisoners in PP).
As could be felt from the start the uncomfortability between JeongWon and GW, finally resulted in love line at the end (just like a common ROM-COM). Don't be offended, I truly respect the duo's work and had been following it. But for a change sometimes simplicity can be also be happening, keep us up on our toes.
In between, I still not over the the unknown facts. Who was SongHwa's first love? What will happen to IkJun and SongHwa? Will she reciprocate his love? What is IkSun's answer and more than that what happened in Hawaii? Will MinHa be able to convince SeokH to take a chance once more? And what will happen to our Winter Garden, as I think writer won't let them be still? And trivially it won't be fun also
(Did I just contradicted my thoughts??)

Many people were discussing about the future of Kim Jun Wan and Lee Ik Sun. Here are my thoughts....
Actually no one ever wrote much about their story and took granted that it will sail smooth (overlooked tiny details, I too did that). Here are some point which I just realized... Take a look and tell if my interpretation is right?
Jwan sent her the rings and I feel that, IS has the capability and heart to send back those rings, and it might be the twist of the season 2 for Jwan. There are two possibility. that he will become really insensitive and ungenerous or become to soft and gentle, passive or aggressive to his current state.
Fighting Jwonna, I wish the best for you... (as you're closet to many's heart due to your habit of not expressing and keeping your pain and anguish with yourself.
And if you ponder carefully, I never saw IS supporting him (not saying she was not faithful, but was never too much involved and invested in his life (may be because of her ex's history), but he was always there for her, looking for her each and every small need and feelings.
Aigoo uri Junwanna. I really don't want your feelings to be hurt, but my criminal mind keep thinking about your future. Ik sun accept those rings, let him live happily with you....
See by rule is simple (need not be correct though) that those who sailed smoothly in or at the end of the season would face harshness in next and those who didn't get to feel the love this time might be down poured with it in the next.Don't feel too depressed after reading this. Just presuming the worst scenario....

I too think that is a possibility, since Winter garden shippers are on cloud nine right now, and it will make a great twist to start off the next season with Winter and garden on opposite ends, if not a life-death drama. (though I too personally want this devastation to not happen....
)
And if we think of something more positive, it can be professional and personal conflicts (which too I think has a slight chance, since both can be seen to be madly in love with each other and understanding in nature personality wise + Jwon has his squad on his back)
Whatsoever, but I am having this intuition that something is gonna happen to them (won't be an easy ride for Winter Gardeners next season) - JUST A PREDICTION, DON'T TAKE IT TOO HARD..

{Disclaimer : Haven't watched ep 12 yet, analyzed just by reading co-writers' posts}
What did I just see? From the point where I was constantly praying for no heart breaks for my dear Gyeoulaaa, to that kiss. Ground swept under my feet, my heart skipped a beat, and I froze just like her..... (though I feel like, she should have reciprocated, if not while he was kissing her, but at least when he hugged her...
)
As many of you have mentioned, that it feel detached, nothing gradual, as we don't know exactly how and when he fell for her, so damn hardly
. No doubt we would be seeing some beautiful daughter-in-law and mother-in-law seen between JGW and Mama Rosa...**Note - Someone mentioned in his/her post, that it is Jwon's 2nd attempt on love life? which one is the first?
Now coming to IJ-SH, as they didn't reveal her first crush, I'm afraid it is NOT IJ...
[Let's pray for IJ till next episode]
Somethings which I found unresilved for this season are - (if anyone knows please tell)
1. Hawaii ??? What they hell did happen there.....?
2. Now that JGW and Jwon are confirmed to be together, what about the abusive father case (he did say, he will get back at Jwon)? I assumed that the climax of that will trigger the feelings of Jwon for JGW !!
3. There was no background story developed for the side leads (and what to say about them, background of Jwon, IJ amd SongHwa were also not elaborated..., only chaebols were highlighted...
) I really hope we get to know them more in season 2...
4. Also I didn't see any interaction between the love interests of the fab 5. Only IJ was conversing with others, none of the others showed any interest in there love life. Whyeo?
Will write more after watching the whole episode... Till then keep posting and shower your love to our dear HP team. Let this fire ignited by the last episode not die easily, as it will take an year to re-ignite that....

Haven't heard of any such rumors? What I know is that there were speculations of season 2 coming by mid 2021.
But I really want what you said to be true.
In the mean time what are we gonna do? I hope something so nice and refreshing comes soon to help us with HP withdrawal....

And seriously, Netflix need help from you @nhquan94 in order to give viewers accurate and detail translation for subtitle. Because it is very significant to more understand the story.
And yees, I feel that too. To be honest, I disagree with comment that Ikjun's answer that create uncomfortable expression of Song-hwa. 1) The fist confession scene of Ep 10; 2) Ikjun's friendly or maybe flirty gestures in the elevator and 3) Ikjun no comment answers + drink the soju --> Songhwa still response it in postive way (smile faces).
She started feel uncomfortable when Chi-hong give confronting question to Ikjun.
So maybe the cause is not Ikjun confession but because she felt Chi-hong already cross the line and it happened in front of Ikjun -- and she was afraid that it would hurt Ikjun -- and it bothered Ikjun. That's why Song-hwa continue to feel uncomfortable until karaoke scene (seeing Ikjun low mood).
Aigoo, I am sorry that I am still stuck at this scene while I should move on already
Moreover, Now that she know that IJ knew that SeokH proposed her on that day, she might have got the hint that why he didn't come to meet her.
In lieu of that, I would like to ponder on one more point...
The most heart felt gesture from IJ till last episode, was his coming to the hospital (after his long night with surgeries at hospital) ,when SongHwa suspected that she had cancer. He even didn't go to his ex-GF, who invited her to her TV show set (though it first seemed like he is going there, but ended up at the hospital) . And when asked by SongHwa why he came, he clearly said, because he was worried
, claiming for the first time that he has special feelings for her. Even Jun wan asked to accompany her, but once she declined he didn't go, nor did anyone except IJ, which is self-explanatorily denies all other ships.-

Probably ya, since the posture she made before chasing the abusive Dad. And running with naked feet too.
I hope all such moments we all (Winter Garden shippers) are imagining turn real. And can be shown as flashbacks (but I think that is too much to ask for the last episode....)

Ya, after reading your post I went to see the preview again. And I too think that may the case. As in one scene her hairs are messed up and in other she got it tied up nicely (both scenes in PICU).

The ep 12 preview tells that a leap of few months have been taken (X'mas has come).
Min Ha will get her first kiss of the year (most likely from SeokH)
As one of you have mentioned it before, Jeong Won seem to have a past, from which he is running (probably a girl, his first love).
My theory is, that she might have been similar (in behavior and characteristics) to JGW. That's why he firstly felt uncomfortable around her and was rude to her (as she reminds her of his first love). But with the passage of 10-11 episodes he night have realized that he was been quite rude to her, without any reason and has also built some connection with her. That's the reason he is asking some one to take care of her, when he is gone. I too think that she will request him to stay (confession ??), when she knocked the door. (May be in the course of requesting we get to see some past background of GW, which we didn't get to see this season)
Jun wan is in conflict whether to send the ring to her on airport (will it become a baggage to her).
Mostly I think IJ will not be able to go to Spain due to travel ban, amid COVID and in turn he will go to Song Hwa.

Just finished watching Ep 11. A lot to notice.... Firstly
What to look for in Season 2 -
1. What exactly happened in Hawaii ? Why Jwan was exempted from military (as it was mentioned twice. It may have a significance)
2. The family background of only two are known, what about the others. It might be one of the prospects for season 2
3. I think the "Child Abuser" case, should have been resolved in this season only, new beginners of next season may feel disconnected. I had even thought of its climax, GW saving Jwon (or may be any of his near dear) being attacked by that perpetrator with a lethal weapon and getting in course of saving him. Hence, generating for concrete feelings towards her. (ignore, if sounding cliche`)
4. And most importantly, SongH inclination (which I'm quite sure they won't disclose this season)Personally I don't think Rosa and JongSu have any romantic angles, as in first episode it was shown that how deeply in love he was with his late wife.
richard simmons Bits from Ep 11
1. Funny part is it started with the death of one's dad and is ending with anothers'
2. I think as per the ultra neutral nature of SoekH, I think he there can be a scene where he might also be delivering that mistress' baby.
3. ACH is a nice guy, but I don't think he has as much endurance as IJ (not pursing your love for your friend's sake). Otherwise he wouldn't have behaved like that in the get together. (Also, just as IJ patted SongH in elevator, he did the same thing to her in the car)
** Not to forget, IJ's expression when he saw the two of them in the lift, standing close together and counter to that standing closer to SongH (i could feel some sort of jealously there)
4. Jwan is ready to put in his all into this relationship. I know its hard for IS to move on with marriage, but she should consider and look at this guy's poor heart, who couldn't dare to pull out those couple rings out of his pocket....)
5. The song sang by IJ in karoke bar, the date mentioned (31st Jan'99) was it apart of the song or did he actually met her on that day?
6. Also after that drunken night, during their band performance. Did anyone notice the awkwardness when IF and SongH made an eye contact? Now I'm pretty sure they were definitely into each other in past.
7. I loved the silence IJ opted, when Song H revealed that she is shifting to Sokcho for an year. Felt like he is both happy and sad. Happy and understanding her perspective that without any exchange of words. Sad that he will be parting with her again.Lets wait to the last episode and bid adieu to season one on a happy note....

I have been seeing this thread for quite some time. And I really appreciate all your good works, analysis, theories...
But I think there is one point no one picked up. Out of the Fab 5, IJ is the one who was jolly and fun-loving, but no one knew that he has been going through such agonizing pain since last 20 years. Though we know that even SeokH has also been through hard times, but his pains are open to everyone in the group. whether it be his sister's death, dad's adultery, divorce, mom's health and now even his crush on SongH. But when it comes to IJ, on one had any idea about his pain. As per ep 11, we can see he was quite serious about SongH (like even bought a ring
).
Even in case of Jwon, all of them are aware that he is into priesthood since start, the issue he is facing now is how to deal with those new feelings erupted in his heart.
I wonder how the writernim-directornim will make it happen to disclose IJ-SH past to others or will they opt to keep them to IJ itself.
Not to forget, right now even Jwan, is in pitiful condition. No one has no idea what he is going through.
And what to say about SongH !! I guess her decision of shifting to Sokcho for sometime, seems like running away from her re-emerging feelings for IJ, rather than the work load.
I wish it all warp up for good for everyone

Hello all
I haven't watched this drama (TBH can't afford till the end this year), only read some excerpts. And as you might be experiencing its indulging. I had a few doubts, if anyone of you kind soul can clarify that.
1. Is Min Seol A is Su Ryeong's biological daughter?
2. Also Seok Hoon and Kyung's half sister?
Since may people are shipping Soek Hoon and Bae rona, I just wanted to know were they not that evil towards Seol A? And what i really want to see is how the twins will react when they get to know their father's doing and secret of Seol A's death?
What do you all think? Are these already answered?
