Ok, after reading a translation of the preview of the 9, they tease that they slept together and Queen actually acknowledges it. Maybe it's a a red hearing though.

I can't wait for the subs. I will have to wait to see how this played out in episode 9, because imo it would be kind of lame to play with her again as he did in the first episodes. Unless he quickly tells her that nothing happened they move on.

Happy New Year everyone!
I think it's a flashback as well, idk about her hair, but the King's face is way too cold for it to be now. Maybe I am wrong, but I don't think he will let her go anywhere alone for this episode.

Six episode was amazing, I can't wait for the rest.
I think the King will start to suspect everyone about what happened to the Queen, he doesn't know about the souls swap, and will have an "us against the world" moment trying to protect her.The King's brother is annoying, what's his obsession with this brother's feelings. The concubine, and him are same as Kim clan, the want to use him as a puppet. I am so glad she will not get her consummation night, at least for now, i am not sure she loves him at all.

To be honest, I ship them because I love their dynamic and visuals, I just want all these funny scenes when the Queen realises that he is in the woman's body with woman's desires and memories that can't control and the King is jealous of her cousin, friend, everyone. The two goofs who exaggerate everything while everyone else in the story is like, you are already married nobody cares.
If I try to apply logic... oh god..Can't wait for the next episode.

I think that the King doesn't have such strong feelings for his concubine, it's more thankfulness, a feeling that he owns his life for her so he must protect her and love her at any cost. He doesn't even spend with her his free time, or slept with her for so many days.
Also he may be involved in the lake issue and was about to confess it was him when the Queen stopped him, for her/his own reasons. So he may thinks she did it to save him. (I have only watched this youtube video from episode 4 so far so maybe i am wrong)

This drama is like 4-5 genres combined and it's perfect in all of them.
The comedy is gold, the political parts so interesting, and the love stories so unpredictable.
I am still rooting for the King and Queen romance tbh, it would perfect enemies to lovers story and there is so much tension between them. Though I have to admit that the cousin is perfect as well.
I still can't understand everyone's intentions, but there is so much sexual tension and feelings around already to call this a non romance drama.-

This is like a parody of Moon Lovers, which one of my favs and i can't wait to see what's next. The actors are so good, eveything is so fresh and fun. When I read it's an adaptation I run to watch the highlights of the original drama and honestly,

I will not try to impose real life standards on a man who time traveled and changed souls with a historical queen.

Hi, I am a long time lurker here.
The reason I created an account today is because I just saw the advertisement of The K2 on tv in my country, Greece.
The advertisement was during the highest rated program here, and the channel is one of the popular ones. It was just Ji Chang Wook in a suit. There wasn't a date yet but this the very first time a kdrama is even mentioned on greek tv, and certainly the first time one get's broadcasted so i just hope this will be popular so more can follow!

I am very against to anything without consent, even if it is a kiss, and the CDrama
Had two scenes with dubious consent. In the drama, though, the Queen was still hitting on maids when she slept with the King, but here we had an episode where she had to throw water on her to feel less smitten by the King.
IMO, if it happened, they will justify it. Idk how drunk the Queen was when her Cousin and the King, who both passed out where ok enough to go back to "work". It seems to me that it was many hours latter. Maybe the Queen will blame the So Yong in her for what happened, or nothing happened and the King will not actually says that something happened.
Maybe she just agreed with him to sleep there so they will not question why he was there, anyway, after the kiss she could have sent him away. Her cousin was there I am sure he would be more than happy to kick him out.
In the preview they seem fine with each other and Queen even declares herself a member of his fan club so as it seems, she holds nothing against him.
