I am not one to name names and bring shipping wars here, but I think vast's very fast and clear denial today is because of what apparently happened on twitter yesterday. As always Binnie standing up for Jinnie and 'protecting' her, do you see a pattern Or is it just me? Everytime there's something to be said to the world our guy speaks up straight and clear.
P.S - not claiming our Jinnie is a damsel in distress needing protection, we all know she's quite capable herself, but hey we all like to lean on Pacific Ocean wide shoulders now and then, don't we

All Hollywood knows how to do is endless superhero movies and action franchises (how many Spiderman movies do we really need? Or how many reboots of Batman? Will the F&F franchise ever end???). No one here knows how to write an honest-to-goodness love story anymore.
It's the same with Indian movies too, and we have so many different language movies made in India. 90% of the movies are about gangster and police wars, I mean seriously, are we sitting and fighting gangsters everyday? Is that the only story left to tell? It irritates me to no end.
This is exactly the reason I am drawn to K dramas, they take everyday characters, everyday issues and make relatable stories. Agree CLOY wasn't an everyday story, but every character and his/her struggle was very relatable. That's why it was such a heartwarming story. While it looks like the rest of the world forgot that romance exists, K dramas seem to thrive on them..
Sadly rom coms and simple stories seem to be flopping in local market in South Korea these days. I hope K dramas don't change, it is like a breath of fresh air. Give me all the cheese

You mean the airport he flew into?
I think his first flight was from Incheon international airport, Seoul to Doha international airport, Qatar and then another one from Doha to Amman. So he landed in Amman in Jordan

So wonderful to have shippers from all parts of the world, of all ages, across all walks of life here. It is definitely a validation of how love needs no language.
I love these words above by you that I've quoted. After watching their interviews this is exactly how I feel, there is an innocence and sincerity in them which they've managed to maintain even after being in this cut throat industry for decades which makes them perfect for each other. I hope (and think) they see this in each other and also how perfect they are for each other.
Also ladies, I was waiting for this date, it is officially 23rd in my part of the world, which means it is one month, one whole month since the white dress getting ready video of Jinnie on IG and we still have no news about it.
1) What was she getting ready for?
2) Does that white dress look like a dress that people wear on the most important day of their lives?
3) Why was she so happy?
Gah, so many questions and we still don't have answers. We were initially going to wait for 1 week, but it's been a month and is still very silent

With Jinnie's new update our theories are proven true,
1) Someone has extra time in her hands because 'close friend' is away
2) The same person is feeling extra carefree about IG posts because it is easier to click selfies and post now (instead of wefies and she also doesn't have to worry about accidentally posting something she shouldn't be)
3) Their updates are still very much synchronized, even if a few of them were/are coincidences, I still think it is destiny and not coincidence
4) Jinnie really does like white

This reminds me of that question in the CLOY press con asking them if they discussed taking up the project and YJ said no.. I felt it was like a direct challenge by her. She was almost like "I am going to lie on your face, it is what you get and you'll have to take it at face value because you can't challenge my answer". Interviewer did try a snarky comment saying they have telepathy, but queen YJ won that round YJ - 1, Interviewer - 0
YJ also mentioned once in an interview that she likes to troll interviewers by not giving the answer they expect. YJ is the biggest troll on earth and we love her for that. So the announcement isn't going to happen easily, we'll be trolled for months and the process began long back. We're in the thick of it

I am guessing (hoping) that like us Jinnie will miss Binnie very badly too and will end up spending extra time on IG. She might end up watching FMV's too to get over the drought. So let's wait and hope for more IG action from our girl, while she's at it I wouldn't mind one more liking spree

My husband got very jealous of my Binnie obsession until he found that I am equally obsessed about Jinnie, then he just decided that I am weird and left it at that. He would definitely be the president of the Husband club, the one that's competing with HB club
He also tried hard to become a fan of Jinnie or some other korean actress just to compete with me, but unfortunately he has a tough time remembering names and gave up on that too. The other day in the car I played "That man" on loop while out on a drive, my husband and kids' faces and reactions were something to remember

I think it would be nice for all of us to take deep breaths, take one step away and think of this news logically.
People saying women can do it all, you're all right. I absolutely believe that women can perfectly balance work, marriage and children if they plan it all well and we all know that uri Jinnie is a great planner, so I am pretty sure if she chooses to do a Hollywood movie AND get married and have a child, she can perfectly do it all and very well too. Same goes for Binnie too, if he chooses to start a family and commit to a Hollywood project or if his wife does it, I am sure he can balance it all well too
People who are concerned about her age and them starting a family, I think you're all right too. It is a valid concern and as a person who is 38 years old myself I can perfectly understand how we all think that Jinnie's biological clock is ticking. I also think when people talk about this they don't mean that Jinnie should give up her career and have kids and become a stay at home mom (edited to add - I am a stay at home mom myself and I don't think there's anything to looked down upon if you're one). They just speak out of genuine concern and I don't think it is an invalid concern.
We are so quick to jump on people and call out their names immediately when they even remotely say something that can be misconstrued. All of us are here because of our love for our OTP and most of them here (at least people who are actively commenting, can't speak for lurkers) have their happiness in mind 100%. So I think it would be nice to stop arguing about women balancing marriage and career. It is hard but it has been done. It would be hard for YJ and having concerns about it is valid, but she can and if she chooses, she will do it too. So let's all please stop arguing with each other about it and celebrate the fact that our girl is going to Holly freaking wood

The music director for the drama is Nam Hye Seung, she is a very renowned music director. She's Korean but based out of Europe (not 100% sure). I think CLOY background score was recorded in Netherlands with a team of musicians from all over the world. I absolutely love the BGM of CLOY, there's a unique music for every emotion and every time I hear the music I feel all those emotions.
But music directors in K dramas don't work like they do in Bollywood movies, where they're in charge of all music related to the drama. Here she did only the BGM and Sigriswil, if I am not wrong. Other songs were all singles released by different artists for the drama

@eLizza don't know if you're reading fan fics, but if you do like reading them, check out The Legend of Nakrang by Coolssue. She writes this as a story with Binnie and Jinnie in their early 20s as leads. It is AHMAZING.. She had posted pics from these clips in that story. I can totally imagine them in that
She's a Binjin fan and is currently writing CLOY season 2 called At Long last (It is by far my favourite CLOY sequel).
Both of these are on wattpad, I am not remotely connected with the writer, so I am not promoting her in anyway. Just a fan of her writing. I don't even comment and give her enough appreciation, but I've recommended both these stories to several people.

Yesterday's temporary forum shutdown caused me some heart palpitations and made me wonder about all the unanswered questions that we have in Bin

I know all shoppers agree with me on these questions for which we need some answers
1) What was HB looking forward to seeing when the drama ended (reference - Esquire interview where he mentioned that he was curious about the time immediately after CLOY ending and the interviewer killed it by asking a leading question)
2) Why did HB smile "knowingly" when SYJ mentioned eating healthy and keeping fit (Reference - Couch talk interview for CLOY). We kind of know the answer to this one, but I would still like to hear it from the horse's mouth
3) What was HB going to say when YJ mentioned watching comedy shows to check out how comedy actresses portrayed their characters? He stopped himself before he spoke (Reference - couch talk again? This one I am not 100% sure)
4) According to YJ what characteristics of RJH matches HB. She was thinking of how to answer the question when HB gave her an easy way out by saying chom... chom... chom.. I reeeeeally would love to know her answer (Reference - TVN interview)
5) I am sure we all are OK with not knowing the answer for any of those questions above, if only we can get the answer for this very simple last question -

Omg I was back reading and came across this from Oct 2019. First promo for our CLOY. It legit brought tears in my eyes, that music, his voice and especially back watching now knowing what an iconic drama it has become. Funnily I never saw this particular promo before.. so so good....

That's a great point, I just went and did a little research and as far as I can tell, the likes started only on June 12th. Earliest like is YJ's Jenny house ad that Binjindiary shared on IG. First she liked only Jennyhouse related posts, but going forward she liked full on shipping posts... this my friends, is definitely a huge clue
I feel she discovered the shipper profile only when they shared their company ad and since then has been regularly checking the profile and liking shipping posts.
I do think we are on the final two episodes of this real life shipping story!

I didn't see the actual twitter posts, but heard from others that the ex team shippers posted really nasty things about YJ. I feel that's what brought about the denial by vast.. even if it's not the main reason, I am sure it is one of the reasons why they felt the need to issue a denial
