anw, they upload until 30 episodes and no direct interaction between Sun and Changge. Kinda boring, but at least we know Changge miss Sun and even dreamed about him
character development yes.
and now they leave the grassland and move to another place. i will miss Sher. he is cute. a mama's boy and a lovebird for Mimi.
speaking of the trio (leyan and two other boys) I do agree with their story is unaffected to the main plot, yet they add another substory; leyan's brother. idk how the new sub story will connect to the main plot because from what i've watched they are connected to leyan's story. i mean, the previous sub story (the generals) is directly connected to Changge thus it's important to the main plot. there are also 2 new characters (one character makes Sun jealous from the preview lol). They help Changge so I'm sure they are important to the main plot

i'm hooked with this drama!!!!! tbh, i dont need bts to feel their chemistry bcs they all nailed it to the point i can't choose which one is the best among them.
leo and dilireba's chemistry is on point. if i didn't read some malicious comment about age-gap between them, i wouldn't know about 7 years-age-gap. leo potrayed his character very well. he looks very mature and can keep up with dilireba's features. especially his eyes. the way he keeps stare at changge whenever they meet, man if i were changge i would move to grassland already and be his girl only.
leyan and the duo (sorry i forgot their name)'s story also are enchanting. finally, zhao can act another type of character i'm so proud
. but i hope their story can connect to the main story. for now, the bad guy (aaaaa i forgot his name (the one who always chase changge)) is the only one who have connection to the main plot. i hope leyan and the good guy can have it as well.
i like changge and mimi's relationship. especially when mimi found out about changge's real gender and she was like 'i already planned to marry you but why????' that was so funny. eventho some says she was spy from sher. BUT I MISS LEYEN-CHANGGE T_T. they had brief screentime but their chemistry got me already (when leyan hanging on changge's arm and didn;t want to let her go. it was so cute i wanna join their team)
i really hope the two actresses' fan stop their childish fanwar. they are good actress and if dilireba is the main female here just accept that please. zhao does pretty well and she even has her own story eventho her character never exist in the comic. (RIGHT?)
can't wait for the next episode!!!

The new king really looks like pyeonggang. He is just like sohyun male version
In ep 12 (if im not mistaken) when pyeonggang went to the war and he thought she died, he looked so vunerable. But when they realized sunno tribe won the war and on dal got the recognize from the king, he confessed his love to moyong, like what??? I think it is just one of his plan. I'm pretty sure he's still in pyeonggang's side. It was as if he got a heavy blow when he realized his father's plan about sending pyeonggang to the war and he can lose pyeonggang anytime.
But I havent watched ep 13 14 and 15 so idk why geon suddenly turn his back to pyeonggang

imo, if yoonhee wanna kill herself she should jump from penthouse just like she killed msa. i still can't get over msa's death. she was the only person who didn't have any bad motive in the drama. everyone use everyone to get what they want, even the greatest logan lee did this through the entire season.
i heard weird news about cha eunwoo will join penthouse character as soojin and yoochul's son. i'm not sure he will be the oldest son (except they adopt him) because the timeline is not match at all.
kudos to the queen of penthouse. she always 100 steps ahead than anybody in that place.
anyway, i like how the drama lowkey making fun of the police

The way jdt treated seojin is so f-worded evil. Yes she is bad but no one deserved abused! Now i keep thinking about the twin's life before all this hell happened. The bruise on seokkyung's arm look so new and jdt called seokhoon in last ep make me wonder do they get abuse by their father everyday?

from all the moms in the penthouse, mary is the only one who success teach some manner to her child. other children turn out to be ungrateful brats. kudos to the writer for this character development!
anyway, i still hope rona is alive. although i never like seokhoon-rona pairing, rona doesn't deserve to die like this. min seol ah is enough. rona has so much potential and i keep thinking how she will achieve her mom's big dream with her magical voice. the flashback of how joo dante took out her breathing tool(?) didn't show the flat line, except a danger sign and that's it. logan might save her at the critical moment. i will put my trust on that guy eventho the way he gave cpr to na aegyo tested my patience to another level. this is the 3rd time i put my trust on him. the first and second he's really disappoint me.
another moment that i love from this show is the twin's dynamic. when seokkyung opened up about her abusive father to protect seokhoon made me cry. seokhoon is right. they only have each other's back from now on so it's them vs the world. i still hope they will join hands to bring their father down.
joo dante's enemies gangsta until his own flesh slay him. HAH! CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS MOMENT!!!!
oh, so it's suryeon? surprised not surprised.

So basically this season is about SJ's falling from her throne. Serve her right! It's so satisfying for me, after what she did in season 1. I hope JDT also will taste his own medicine in the next season. He practically hurt everyone in the drama, and I can't wait for them to gang up and bring him down. I also hope the twin will join hands.

strongly agree with this opinion. the real SSR cared more about her biological daughter. remember when seokkyung screamed at her for not staying at the twin's side when they needed her the most? probably SRR missed some important events (such as jdt's business meeting) and NAK pretended to be SSR to make good impression about their husband (wear long dress, drink wine that she doesn't like)
what i don't understand is why NAK wants to do that for 20 years? what did jdt said to her so she's willing SSR can replace her position as the twin's mom and the first lady of penthouse? i mean, look at her when she complains about what she did for the past 20 years. she wants to be SSR!

i re-watched last episode of season 1 and this is my wildest guess
Spoilerthe one who died is NAK. she was in touch with logan. JDT used the twin card to threaten NAK so she pretends she doesn't care about her children because she doesn't want JDT used them against her all the time. she knows all JDT's secrets and wanna join hands with logan to bring jdt down. i think logan also used the twin card on NAK, trying to persuade her to be SSR the night she died (she's doing her job for 20 years, remember?). maybe logan said something and it has to do with her children. her expression right before she opened the door was a bit strange for me. like she knows what's coming behind the door.
wait. so it means the twin can't meet their biological mom
