    Ahhhh I started watching this show and did not know its name till halfway through, Had to pause and look at the title. I was on Viki and the banner flashed with PHS and HHJ's poster Lmao.

     

    Wow Fab, HHJ Missed her and forgot how brilliant she is onscreen! PHS I know it will take time but he still will be my fav in this show , <have had a record with him in all the shows, he always ends up being my fav character lol, be it Heirs or SBGS lol> 

     

    Plot Storyline ---UNEXPECTED,, and we have Goblin's Assistant Guy playing the shady guy with the story ...I mean for these shows execution matters the most, first 2 did not disappoint being set up in an unknown apocalyptical world. Just WOW. Waiting eagerly.

     

    SaeBom's collegue's wound did heal  as a scratch at the same amount of time Her wounds still need a bandaid. She has a underlying condition is pretty obvious , as to weather her blood is the singing voice to Zombies or an antidote has to be seen.

    EP 3 Review <Iqiyi again went on VIP mode so have to wait for EP4>

     

    Ermm maybe too early but again these UNIT Type stories are hard to work out, and the gaps are showing now. We know how The ML got supernatural powers now and there is a killer who gives yogurt <Oh Jung Sae or the Chief heh> which leads to hallucination and suicides and killings, oh well. ML is the NOW 2020 Supernatural guy giving signals to YiGang because he is the chosen one from the Mountain to roam around even when he dissipates. 

     

    I mean I think Yogurt giver is a ranger because it is easier to accept food from a Ranger than a stranger while Hiking in remote Mountain areas I guess.

    Uptil Ep 3 , Jirisan has a clearer Year switch pattern than said show but that show had a more coherent storyline in earlier episodes. Hope Jirisan can come up with a Fuller plot than hunt the Killer and reach to THE INCIDENT That led JJhoon in comatose state.

    S1 Ep 13-14 Review :

     

    My heart feels heavy as I finished this, its true and Real that LOVE is NOT the solution to everything, a relationship needs communication and understanding. Not Everyone can love like you do.

    These last episodes I did not see the Cells, Kim Go Eun won my heart here, she was the Major focus and her emotional changes as Yumi.

    Truly I felt her emotions here, If we were not shown how Wung feels inside his head <FYI HIS RATIONAL CELL IS THE DUMBEST!> , from Yumi's end it does look as if Wung was just not as into her as she was, he shrugged her concerns off, did not try to contact when Yumi asked for some time off, Meets Sae Yi and then makes it look as if he heard her not coming to the wedding from a third person , His Subtle ignOrance and manipulation was Not a Smart Move. Women Can sense fishyness when you do act like that. Agreed he had no evil intentions but it does HURT! It felt as if Her Love was not enough to make him realize her absence. Yumi You deserve better .

    But still Wung is a precious gem who has Pride, Men and their Pride are as simple as complex they are. His lack of communication and doing extra when told Not to didn't help. Wung also Loved Yumi a hell lot but his way of expressing stuff was not what she understood. It hurts because we were shown how he felt &it made the entire break up much more hard to accept than it should have been as a viewer. Their communication method and timing wasn't right.

    I wish S2 changes something & Woomi becomes the end game where Wung learns to speak up and achieves his Goals too! And Yumi's Love is returned the way she wants too. As for Babi, not effective enough yet to comment much tbh, all I see is a supportive friend who is interested in her from his perspective but not that Hogging which I like. But is he that well to erase Woong's presence , Nope. Wung is just so prominent here, like everyone says, when he is dedicated He is SUPER Nice and Practical and the DREAM GUY , but when he isn't No one can be more frustrating than he is!!!!

    But again Babi has not been shown much as a personality even except that he likes to be a runner to escape the urge to call his EX and is interested in a colleague with letter U.

     

    YUMI DESERVES BETTER, SHE IS LOYAL AND CAN FORGO HERSELF , EVEN IF A GUY IS NOT MAKING HER THE NO. 1 PRIORITY, MAKE HER ONE WHEN SHE NEEDS IT THE MOST!!!! DON'T SHRUG HER REACTIONS AND CONCERNS OFF!!!!! 

     

    S1 Final Rating 8.8/10, short of 9 because of Pace issues.

    S2 come soon.

    Final Episodes Review :

     

    A Blind man was able to walk see and tie up a horse without knowing where he fell down, Time is being wasted on not so imp characters, A highly guarded prison can have visitors easily? What on earth....

    Sam Shin and one more Goddess are worthless in front of a Sealed Demon Lord? Don't you not Cultivate???Do you not have successors? Was Sam Shin Born Old??? I mean WHAT????

     

    The entire 15th episode should have been named YES I AM READY TO SEAL MAWANG...That is what we have been hearing for 10+episodes WORK ON IT......

     

    Hwacha Human's son is the Street HAT Painter,...Wow Would have liked his backstory to be seen more than the BrotheL Lady who IMO is a bigger backstabber than Evil Shaman who for the lack of better words was ambitious and only supported the King or Person who helped her ........Arghhhhh

     

    Hwacha becomes the God of PAinting eho resembles Grandpa HA , Grandpa HA resided in that Jade ring which helped in controlling and existence of MW in a Human Body...OK.....

     

    If the reason of MW not being able to be sealed last time was the RING! Then that very RING also existed with Mommy HA when HARAM was born and MW was first sealed, then why is it a Hurdle Now?LOgic Lost in Painting too??/

     

     

    RED MOON was not the relevant one, but the Entrance of 5th planet from Sun was, Assuming it is not Jupiter <which comes near around  every13 month> They would have had to wait for 1000 yrs for next apt SEAL DATE??? Was the Grandpa King and Current King rule time period 1000 yrs? Do Moon and Planet have irregular schedule? WHAT???

     

    HARAM ride a Horse being blind in a jungle, got thrown off the horse and fainted, The Horse was tied up to a Tree? WHo tied It? A ghost????

     

    HR was able to see Grandpa Gandolf err Grandpa HA, Was it a Dream or Reality? WHY IS IT SO INCONSISTENT....DANG IT!!!!

     

    Demon Herpes took 5 years and more still was not able to fully spread and kill JH ...Wonderful.

    King was still alive with terminal illness

    MW curse was reversed on CG, but his injury was still implemented on JH????

     

    Sam Shin basically pushed MW inside the Painting and they live together now inside the Vessel whose powers were bargained with Hwacha who absorbed them and is now the new GOD OF PAINTING....OKAY???? Now He is Birth/Death/Painting God???? Then was Grandpa Ha Painting/WATER Sensor God????

     

    The magical beings were not explained properly, the people don't know their own Mythology and the Outside the country parameters don't match Up.I mean Yul and others took A boat to reach the place where CG/HR stay with their Kid and the servant after 5 years and HR/CG took only a Horse  RIDE and rode to the outskirts to visit their Peach Garden where the OldLady who was around 60 back then is still alive at almost 85 yrs????? Peach have elixir of Life???

     

    Boat water ways and Horse Garden Way have same distance??? WHAT??? Did they not Leave the Capital that they have Urban legends cooked and whispered amongst the capital people????? MAKES NO SENSE

    YUL Will be the MVP of this show IMO, While everyone kept throwing tantrums and called him a worthless man, HE Grew Up, left his own desires and became the Bigger Man that everyone needed to stabilize their own lives. HE OF ALL PEOPLE DESERVES A HEA TOO!!!!

     

    Main leads wrapped up alright and with a Cutie patootie Kid but I Need a S2 to see Yul and Grand Prince Saga tie up properly too.

     

    Initial rating was 9 reducing it to 7 because it had no plot after 6 episodes to flesh out properly. AHHHHH Such a wasted opportunity where Fantasy was made a Gumbo....

    Production House can differ in Kdrama and Cdrama. Cdrama some Production Houses have guaranteed quality and Hits like Daylight Entertainment <Ode2Joy, Nirvana in Fire, Battle of Changsha, Love me if you dare>

    and some which always have Hit and Miss but worth a chance then decide like Jaywalk <Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms, Sweet Dreams , Legend of Fuyao > and Huanrui < Love and Redemption, Destiny of White snake>

     

    So yeah that also plays a huge factor in some countries haha.

    Drama being considered good is subjective though IMO. But from what I have seen now we live in OTT platform era so first watch it yourself then decide is the Go to Mantra.

     

    Eg : I did not like WWWSK or CLOY but people loved it

    I loved LOTBS and Still 17 , very very few people talk about it and one is almost unknown.

     

    Not every TTeokbokki Texture suits your Gums and Teeth is all I am saying. :D

    Lets See, Ratings are Only applicable to Native People Trend and what they like/prefer. I have seen American, British, Korean , Chinese, Japanese and Turkish Shows and I am not a Native of either.

    What works for their Sensibilities might no be the same for me.

    Case in example there is a Japanese drama called Mita,The Housekeeper its an all time rating champion (one of those) having 40% ratings when it aired. Its completely a melodrama. I would have dropped it midway it went monotonous.

    Another example shows that are not so popular in China those are slice of life (Mr. Fighting Starring Sandra Ma and DengLun) end up being loved excessively in Korea and Japan (it won Seoul International Drama Award and is Repeatedly aired in Japan because they love this show).

     

    Ratings are native and country specific too. I see dramas which suit my palate so No ratings cannot be the sole guarantor of a good drama.
