Does anyone happen to have the link to Vast’s statement please? I am just curious about what they said exactly. Denying holding hands under the table MIGHT not be the same as denying dating...
Gosh, how to move on with my life from here? I am too invested in them, I don’t think 6mths condolence period would be enough.

I don’t know where to post this. So I’ll post my thoughts here.
Some knetz are raving that the only reason why CLOY is successful is because of the main leads, and that the storyline of Goblin was so much better.
This is by no means to compare CLOY and Goblin storyline for the first and foremost reason that I have not watched Goblin. But I just want to say that I might be the only one who does not like/want to watch Goblin because of the casting of the main leads. They just didn’t have that kind of chemistry that draw me in. Maybe it was because of the age difference? Or their looks were not compatible in my eyes? I am not sure.
Maybe CLOY storyline is much simpler than Goblin, but what important is that it touched me, made my heart flutter, and made me think a lot about “sacrifice”, “letting go” and “longing” when you love. I witnessed a budding love, gone through heaven and hell, blossoming into the most beautiful love that I’ll never forget. And personally, it is more relatable to me to watch a love between 2 human beings (though still fictional) than a love between a goblin and a human.
knetz are probably right that Goblin story is better, but I know 2 things which are right to me: CLOY will be number 1 for me for a very very long time after this, and that I have no intention to start watching Goblin again (tried and couldn’t go pass first ep).

I can be totally delusional again, but in the bts, there was a scene where SYJ ran towards HB to do the koala pose, but she failed and only got half way up (the ‘robot’ scene). HB opened his arms up in aeroplane mode and was careful not to touch her. If you’re just friends, I am sure you would get down after failing and maybe laugh about it. BUT No, she was rocking up his body to try climb up again. I mean, surely, that is so intimate, no? You’re literally rubbing you chest again the other person. Would you do that to your close mate? So up to that point in the bts, I was like “oh why are they so polite to each other!?”, but then I saw that scene and the swinging downhill (*squeal*) I was at ease again.
Anyway, “your eyes see what you want to see”. I want to see them together so I’ll continue my shipping journey till the day they get married to each other or to anyone for that matters.

I just finished a marathon of ep15+16. My thoughts are all over the place but I know I am happy!
I watched and rewatched the goodbye scene at the border 5 times, until I realised I had to move on so I can finish the episode. Epic! Daebak!
Although I love Love love the ending so much coz they look so good and happy together, I do agree with @INeedAFan that there might be another alternative ending that feature the twins and the couple rings! I don’t think that the director/writer would insert the couple rings scene (and with YSR said she would never take it off) knowing that the rings are no where to be seen in the ending! The whole crew cannot have made such an amateur mistake. So I think the crew must have another ending but it was not going ahead because either 1) they got leaked, or 2) they couldn’t film it/edit it in time.Anyways, I still love the ending we have wholeheartedly and the adlib kiss sealed the deal for me.
I will remember this drama for a very long time!!!

Omo omo omooooooo the last scene is what everyone would love to have in life. So tranquil, so peaceful, so much love. I love love love the scene. HB and SYJ look sooooooo perfect together (can’t count how many times I have said this!!!)
I am always wondering what their parents think to have beautiful children like HB and SYJ. HBxSYJ child must be so beautiful as GGTL as well.

So now we only have bts 15-16 left and that’s it. Life’s back to normal. I can’t remember how I spent my weekends before CLOY...
What is the chance HB and SYJ do another movie/drama together? They are honestly the best couple on screen that I have seen to date (ousted my previous most favorite couple Lee Da Hae and Lee Dong Wook from My Girl).

But this, this, the second video is what I am looking for! If they act “cold” towards each other, even on purpose to hide their relationship, then I’ll be super happy with how CLOY ends but my heart would not be fulfilled. But in here, I can still see 90% of HB’s body center is still leaning toward SYJ at the end of the vid, and the delusional fan girl in me gave out a deep, content sigh. Thank you so much HB and SYJ for giving us a wonderful drama! I wish you a lifetime of happiness (best together!)

so happy with the ending!!!

I agree with you all on the lack of kissing / physically intimate scenes between YSR and RJH in CLOY. Sometimes I felt so frustrated. However, I think the second kiss (in the rain) was so fitting. It’s so...pure and gentle. He wanted to kiss her but he was so unsure. She was taken by surprise but she liked it. It makes me swooned, makes my heart flutter. If they had a deep French kiss in that scene, it would not have such a great impact to me, at least.
Having said that, I do want to see them kiss more! Even if it is just a smooch on the forehead and just a quick peck on the lips...

Does anyone know how much CLOY is being promoted/advertised in SK? I feel like CLOY is not very well promoted (it is, just not in full blow) - yet it managed to get 17.7% rating. Would the rating be higher if tvn spend a wee bit more money on advertising? Or it does not matter since it is a paid tv station, and netflix is not for korean anyway?

If they had held hands in a video evidently - and you were able to catch that . FINE. spread it , post it everywhere. The point on that scenario is that we all know, that part of the netizens would judge , not shippers . We all know by now since they are hot topic any speculation tops and headlines will go crazy and that might harm the pair AGAIN with a rumor that clearly don't want .

My point is it is not a big deal IF they held hands under the table.
I am not sure what would be considered more unprofessional. Them holding hands secretly but got caught (IF it is true), or he showing her suggestive move (to go to bed), or her grabbing his head and sniffing his hair!? If some knetz dislike them, they would have found all reasons to diss them, like finding faults in my last 2 examples and not because they held hands. So stop over-reacting to the photo even if it is fake. I don’t see how the photo would tarnish their reputation in any way, it’s not like it is showing them making out under the table!? I personally think the photo is quite cute.

I mean after the last bts, I cannot see if it makes such a big deal that they get caught holding hands under the table. If they are afraid, they would not be that intimate in the last BTS.
btw, I tried to scrutinise the video too and I don’t think they were holding hands under the table

I never would have thought that I would be this happy, giggly, grinning ear to ear because of someone who is not my husband, my children, my relatives, or my friends. just finished ep 14...
Before going to bed, I just want to say to my comrades that I am so in love! I am so in love with RJH who is in love with YSR! I am so in love with the way he loves her! When they made a wish before blowing out the candles in YSR’s birthday, I also made a wish. I wish that HB and SYJ will get married to each other in real life!!! God please make my wish come true!!!

I do think this is the best drama of Hyun Bin in terms of acting out the emotional scenes. He is no doubt a superb actor but he has not got many melo scenes acted out so well until now.
I like how his eyes are all red and teary, veins about to pop out, the gently trembling movements. All screamed to me how much RJH loves YSR.
As for Son Ye Jin, she’s the queen of melodrama in South Korea. She really does bring out the best in her partner.

When the story was (romantically) slow up North, people complained that it was too slow and draggy. Now we have some actions and suspensions, people complain that it is not a romcom. We fans are sure difficult to please.
Personally, I like how it is at the moment (end of Ep 13) despite the lack of interactions between the leads.
