I kinda think her crush is major and that it could be the set-up for some future trouble.
There is one small moment I noticed (really very small): when CSH brought a very drunk KJH home, we were shown a quick scene of the playground above the road; one of the swings was moving but not the other, so someone had to have been sitting there. Even though the friend (sorry can't recall her character name) was supposed to go home in the other direction, I think she went back to the old neighborhood to wait for KJH to see that he got home okay. Friend knew the playground (since we've seen her there before with KJH), so that was where she waited.
Just a thought.

I didn't see that at all. Honestly, I've never seen the actor in any other roles so I'm just watching him fresh and not expecting anything extra. I thought he was really charming and gentle. And since I can't imagine anyone else in this role (which is a question I often ask myself when starting a drama: could someone else do this better?), so my thinking is that his acting is right where it should be.
.....Also haven't read all the way through this thread, so pardon me if someone else already mentioned this: I was wondering about the reference to the old movie Roman Holiday. That movie ends with the couple going their separate ways; hope this isn't any foreshadowing of what will happen here.

I am very much looking forward to a new show with LJS! But I'm also kinda worried--his military enlistment surely has to be coming up soon.

Probably someone has already posted about this but what is the music in the background of this scene? This song was also playing when KJH was waiting for CSH at the cafe in Cuba. Love it.
