Usually when you're answering marital status, you're filling out official forms or something serious like that (not even signing up for social media requires this info). So it's more likely that this was a repeated (usual) behavior of Naeun because when she has to answer this, it's most likely on official forms that she can't lie on. So all of a sudden she has to fill out this questionnaire that has this and her subconscious went for the learned behavior. It's also weird that her unnies (being her protectors) would quickly try to cover up her mistake. Knowing how those unnies' ability to tease, if this was truly a clumsy mistake, they would tease the heck out of her the whole show... they won't let something like that die down. But everyone was trying to move past that subject. It's also the same for Taemin... how he plays then switches the ring to his left ring finger... how he plays with his ear when he talks to/watches Naeun... how he smiles when reading her texts (even though he knows that there are cameras recording in the studio). These are all subconscious behaviors which show the truth. Oh these two are so unpredictable. The minute I thought that the Taeun world was going to be quiet for a while because now they're extra extra careful due to recent events, they do something to make our Taeun hearts flutter again.
A Freudian slip, also called parapraxis, is an error in speech, memory, or physical action that is interpreted as occurring due to the interference of an unconscious subdued wish or internal train of thought.
Also when he was under the heartbeat monitor where they kept going on about a wife....his reactions were blatant.

I believe that before they had their official hook-up in the chicken-and-beer episode, Taemin and Naeun had a "some" relationship. I don't think just texting and calling each other would explain how they became close in just 20+ episodes (especially since some of the episodes are "two parters"), so they definitely met outside WGM at some point. I think that's when Naeun may have told Taemin that secret the latter never elaborated on following his visit to the APink dorm
In my opinion they had the first real date as a couple in between the chicken-and-beer episode and the Chuseok episode, but since we won't know the exact date until TaEun tell us themselves, I'm pin-pointing their "first date" as the time Taemin and Naeun went to the SHINee dorms and he took her to his room. I always had the feeling that even though the episode finished at them linking arms on Taemin's bed, they spent all day there (Eunji said they were going to order jjajjamyeong in the background before Taeun went on their "home date" ^//.//^)
You can tell when they got more comfortable with each other after their month separation. On episode 31 where they go back to Jeju and he proposes- he got upset when she didn't remember their 200th day (not intentionally). I was trying to figure out when he (or they) consider their start...

Wow, there is a different protocol in SK. Is it just in Korea or does it also happen in other Asian countries? BTW I mean no disrespect with my questions- I'm trying to understand why it is so difficult for idols to have a personal life.

Quick question...I'm still pretty new to all this and still have a few questions. I'm sure it's been answered before but I've been watching YT and why will he not bow to her and have someone else (Key for example) do this for him? What does this mean?

Not that this is related but Hyuna and EDawn just admitted to being in a relationship for over two years today...maybe there can be a trend of idols admitting their status....

@Angelanyto i have pretty good memory with dates, details and weird facts lol but really bad with phone numbers. I can never memorize phone numbers.
From a newbie perspective, I would be disappointed if they didn't at least try to maintain their feelings for each other after WGM ended - young love, first love is hard. Does it always work out? From my experience no...(BUT I do know several who met when they were 14 years old and they are still together and incredibly happy! My niece married her first love and they are still going strong after 8 years together and she's only 22!)
Regardless if they are or are not in a relationship-I hope God blesses them with the love they need and deserve!!!
Also, Despite fans justifying that it was all scripted does not fly with me but I do respect their opinion. Yes, there are parts you know they followed BUT (again from fresh eyes so to speak) there is no way their responses were scripted! I did not know of these two youngsters before watching so I had no preconceived opinions on either of them. I had no ownership of them as idols. Reading your explanations has helped me understand about the love/hate these idols have to go thru to try and live a normal life. Not an easy life at all. Maybe rewarding in some aspects but not in others. I hope soon they both ( as well as everyone here!!) find peace, love and happiness in all aspects of life!!!!!

I am so glad to see many taeunians emerging here and there! Esp older taeunians. I guess with age comes more life experiences in dating (be it urself or hearing from the people around you), so you will be able to better decipher if a couple has real feelings towards each other. Many taeunians seem to be Older than taem and nangni, which really heartens me <3 i'm naeun's age btw hehz
Seriously understand... I’m confused as to why I care (I’m 53!) and probably older than their parents! I watched WGM in December and wondered if they were together. I’ll admit to getting upset with him ignoring her at their events but the wonderful people on this board explained why. Now I understand!!!

Hello everyone... I like many of you only came around Kpop since December (with the passing of Jonghyun) I have absolutely no connection to Kpop prior to that. His passing affected me - it's like in some way I knew him. That's when I started enjoying the music...everyone's music (I like it all so I can't really say I favor any one particular group). Now with that being said I started watching WGM and like you completely feel that Naeun and Taemin should be together! I've watched all the videos and find myself wondering if yes, they still are together, or maybe they were at one point but no longer together. (Having already experienced "first love" myself and it's loss I hope that they don't go thru the same sort of thing and don't regret losing it...)
I have a question for you guys - after all this time shouldn't they have overcome the haters? Is it that difficult for idols to have a personal relationship? I have no idea why this matters to me but it does! They are both great kids (I can say this as I'm in my 50s) and wish them both great luck in whatever life brings them!

No, not trying to prove anything I just wanted to see if it was a reverse angle pic. I was looking at the objects in the top of the table and couldn't tell if the text was reversed. I don't want the haters to go off on her just because she happens to be wearing a ring on that finger! The amount of grief netizens put on idols is tremendous and knowing how every little detail for them is dissected...no ulterior motive I promise!
