After they got really popular as an onscreen couple and loved because of their friendship onscreen, but they really hold back a lot now with their holding hands and being quite touchy (as friends), which makes me sad. :( I really hope that LunZi is fine and still super close behind the scene and that all this no talking is all for public only. 

    I really don't expect them to be cold-headed in public just because the anti-fans, both from denglun side or yangzi side, they are good friends, hopefully it won't make their friendship loose.indeed, it looks like how Yangzi didn't dare to turn her face to stare deng lun when he spoke to her.she looks rather cold.

    and i'm very agree with you. after the anti-fans yang zi who acted improperly, even I could still see deng lun looking very relaxed during the weibo night eventand he seemed to stay close to yangzi and repeatedly tried to chat with her. I like his style, he looks respectful, relaxed, simple and polite in conveying his words.

    yes, the anti yangzi are very annoying, but I hope that yangzi not because that will be distant and cold with denglun, they are good friends, so it's really inappropriate if such problems affect their friendship ...inappropriate. sometimes it may be necessary to be steadfast to confront with people who don't work that way..lol:joy:

    omg ... really fans who have gone too far, I skimmed their comments, it seems like they ship denglun with another woman? but I don't know his name ...haizzzz.... fans who overdo their obsession ... I don't like them...

    yes...me too. I heard that Yang zi were attacked by deng lun fans on ig after comment something on denglun's posted, I personally haven't seen the comment, but I don't think fans should do that. denglun and yangzi are good friends, so fans shouldn't be able to do that

    Yes... congratssss denglun and yangzi and congrats for our ashes of love won the most popular series with yanxi palace in weibo event and the most make me very happy is they sitting together and they walked together on stage to received the award auw....:wub:

    yeah, i found yukee chen suitable for carrying stronger characters like liu ying, she looked quite nimble of the fighting scene and she had the aura of a strong female warrior.. lol.:D and her strict attitude made me like her character on AOL:D

    Are they really dating? It occured to me, sui he betrayed his love on heaven realm... lol.. honestly from all support character i most like is liu ying ( princess demon ) and moon immortal. They have a very good character for me.

    In the drama or movie, yes okay to ship the characters for the storyline but in real life, no... there are just too many reasons to list, but the fact is currently this couple China OTP fans are super obsessed and causing lots of fighting between DL and YZ solo fans. Most of DL antis are YZ fans and vice versa.  

    DL and YZ in real life are actually not too good of friends, the drama was filmed two years ago and they rarely kept in contact. Both have moved on to other dramas since AOL (DL and YZ filmed like 3-4 other dramas).  

     

     

     

    Oh, yes? they are not close in real life? because I know they are old friends, for that when filming they look very close to each other. and they look very compatible with each other. deng lun handsome and yang zi beautiful:wub:

    Sometimes when your watching a drama that is truly unique everything is happening so fast and even when there is a thread still your emotions are not totally complete or able to express all of what you felt. Or even saw...

     

      Mostly because the essence of it's story hasn't had a chance to soak all the way in.  It still lingers within you and even later there are things you find you have missed and it's funny you can't seem to let go.  It's as if the story and it's characters call out to you to be seen again and pull you back...

     

    The title selection sums up it's story and it laid heavy on my heart and it was filled with some of the sweetest moments that were like pure honey. It was a emotional journey from beginning to end and allowed my heart to soar in moments of passion and it brought on so many tears when the sweetness of love was covered in darkness and ash...

     

    There was coldness and frost when they seem to have lost their way and faith in each other.  There was disappointment and regret that followed and anger and pain...

     

    Yet what I loved most then and even now was how their story and love for each other survived. That not even those claiming from heaven or hell or all those factors around them could destroy what lived deep within them. 

    That no sacrifice asked of them was to great for they were both willing to give and give up all that they had.

    It was the one thing that couldn't be covered or forgotten or destroyed.

     

    Love...  The forever kind...

    The not letting go, even when it feels like you're the only one holding on...

    I really like your reviews, deeply and so touching my heart, and this drama looks perfect for the breakdown of the story from the light, early storyline to the sad, mid-sick to the happy and satisfying climax.:heart:

    He just exudes those warm fuzzy feelings on all his shows. The proposal scene from Because of meeting you, watched it at least 20 times and i cried   buckets every single time. 

    Funny thing is most of his c-fans actually most envious of his chemistry with Xiau San Cu and the cat in the forbidden city show than any of the ladies.

     

    Yes.. i found it too but the great chemistry is with yangzi.. i'm really hope they can be real couple. Looks like they are very familiar with each others when filming ashes of love.:wub:

    wauw.. i just read that news.. it's very bad to judge kathy chow like that, it's just that a character in a series doesn't need to be brought to the real world, kathy chow has good acting, I personally like her acting, she's an old artist from hongkong that I've known for a long time. Netizens don't corner her please.... I also hate her character as a empress of heaven but only hates her character in the series and not the artist.

    I'm rewatching episode 56 when Jinmi crush the snow after XF rejected her confession. So I'm finally understanding that scene, to an extent. We see that XF starts to puke blood after catching a red snowflake then it goes to show Jinmi talking about how the "love token" frost of her soul that she gave him was a weapon after all. It can't hurt others but it can hurt her. We saw how XF had called it useless as it can't be used as a weapon when she first gave it to him. She gave him the frost love token to which he had put it in his soul. When she crushed it, it hurt both of them regardless of him returning it as it already became a part of him. JM thought that it only hurt her but that wasn't the case only. It turned out to be a weapon that did hurt both of them in the end.
    Or another thing could be because of the elixir that JM gave him that RY messed with. XF coming into contact with cold, aka snow, will trigger the pain that's why he puked blood. I'm sure many of you already figured this out, but I can't believe it took me this long to realize it. LOL I still love both YX-DL and AOL so much. I find myself rewatching all my favorite scenes like a few times a week. I can't get enough of Lunzi. lol

    Yes ... that part is very painful and touching, I have watched this series four times, but I think that Xufeng vomits blood because he feels hurt, your analysis is very good:grin:

    3. JinMi stabs XuFeng in the back and as he vanish she screams out "Phoenix" and spits out the Yun pill. (Also when she woke up and spat out blood from the pain.

    4. JinMi sees XuFeng proposing to SuiHe using a petal of her frost flower form and then crushes it. (Then it freaking snows blood. Man that was so unexpected. I was like OMG. She just destroyed a part of herself because it already belonged to him. :bawling: I would have destroyed my essence right then and there if I was JinMi.  I wouldn't be able to handle the pain.)

     

    yes...I usually can't cry for sad scenes in serial dramas, but for this drama series, I really cry. there are some parts that make me cry too in this series:
    1. When Jinmi and Xufeng are in mortal realm, when Xufeng returns from war and found Jinmi was gone, he cries beside her, my tears down when I see Xufeng crying so sadly.
    2. This part is the same as you, when Jinmi stabbed Xufeng from behind, then she was very deeply hurt and spewed Yundan pills, and shouted Xufeng's name, when she realized that the person she loved the most was Xufeng and she killed him .. my heart is very hurt to see this part ... honestly I can't stand seeing that scene and often skip that part ... lol
    3. When Jinmi gives a pill to revive Xufeng, Jinmi touches Xufeng's face and sees he has come back to life, she is too happy and shed tears, it is the part that makes me melt tears too.
    4. When Jinmi came to Runyu because Runyu had saved her when she brought Xuan Qiong's light from Xufeng's uncle, and at that time Runyu embraced her, but Jinmi refused him then apologized because she loved Xufeng very much, Jinmi's words were very deep and made me shed water eyes "sorry I only love xufeng, every time I close my eyes only xufeng I see, every time I think about him, my heart hurts so much all my body even my hair hurts, i can't forget him "because at that time he had not made up with xufeng.
    5. When Jinmi sacrifices herself in the war between Xufeng and Runyu. Xufeng cried when he saw Jinmi going to die, he cried so sad ... and I cried too.
    6. when after 3 years passed Jinmi reappeared through Xufeng's eyes and had to part ways with Xufeng ... that moment also made me shed tears ..

    hahaha ... thank you for the praise and similarity of thoughts, yes, I still clearly remember that part, jinmi often refuses every time Runyu wants to touch her, here we can see she doesn't love runyu, there is only one xufeng in her heart. I still remember clearly the part where because Jinmi was injured because she brought light from the oldest uncle Xufeng and Runyu used the method by cutting the pulse and channeling his blood to Jinmi, when Jinmi knew it and asked her, Runyu hugged Jinmi tightly, but Jinmi then said sorry to him because she can't accept him, in her heart there is only Xufeng, every time she thinks of Xufeng his heart is very sad his whole body hurts, he loves xufeng very much, she can't repay love from Runyu.

     

    and there is also one part that I clearly remember when kuanglu asked to her if jinmi's heart was made of ice why she didn't have feelings with runyu, jinmi replied that she has a feelings for runyu, but it was not the feeling kuanglu meant (love) but only friends.Jinmi and Xufeng's hearts are indeed united, they even passed the test when they were married in the demon realm
