  1. I get it, they only had one hour, it was something beyond production's control. It's still a lame segment. There were so many other games that would've suited the MI theme, so many others that could've been a bit more competitive. And don't give me that they don't want to risk getting injured excuse. I'm pretty sure 1v1 name tag ripping or dodge ball wouldn't seem so dangerous after hanging outside of an airplane or stunt flying a chopper.

The episode as a whole wasn't too bad. Honestly whenever they get outside and start to run a little the show gets more interesting. That water gun + name tag ripping segment wasn't terribly straining either, definitely something that older members can handle. If it weren't for the gigantic expectation of Hollywood A lists coming, I would even rate the episode favorably. Alas, greater the expectation, greater the disappointment, which is -- ironically -- kinda what I expected.

I did spot one SA moment, when they were on the bus and JK did the cute "2" hand gesture. After they started dissing JSJ, Jihyo for some reason did that gesture -- with all smiles, no less -- in front of JK (who didn't appear to notice, sadly). Jihyo has always liked to act cute in front of JK and yep she did it again :)

  2. The most likely scenario would be a very brief appearance. Although if they do a full episode like what they did with Jackie Chan that'd be lit.

And if that's the case I really hope they bring back some of the old games. You've got the cast of Mission Impossible -- one of Hollywood's great spy franchises -- and you don't play spy games? That'd be such a wasted opportunity.

You seems pro about this field, may i know if you work at this field? maybe relating with something security system?

I work as an engineer so safety is definitely something that's on our minds a lot. Sadly not working in aviation, but it's a personal interest and future goal of mine and I've spent years learning about it.

What are your thoughts on the members riding those wings? I got really uncomfortable watching YJS. The stunt looked dangerous. Also, the guy’s genuinely scared of heights. Thanks.

Again, it looks scary but with perfect weather it's not that dangerous. Obviously an older single-engine plane is inherently riskier than say taking a commercial flight, but planes can be kept airworthy indefinitely given the right maintenance, and they flew 30 years without trouble.

Although there's a risk of someone getting a heart attack due to fright. If YJS was any less healthy than he is (or if they made JSJ do it), I'd be really pissed at the production. But luckily Yoo god is in tip-top shape. So it's definitely torturous for someone genuine scared of heights, but I wouldn't say dangerous.

Thank you for the information :) @dydrawer we are really glad they are safe, another dangerous situation again for RM members, and when you said this is the most dangerous thing that happen in RM history, i just hope they will always healthy and safe. I'm so proud of them.

Well I wouldn't really say "most dangerous in history" (altho I can't think of something more dangerous off the top of my head atm XD) but definitely the most dangerous since they started doing these global punishment tours. It's an unexpected turn of event that stretches the safety margins.

Whereas if you look at Nevis swing, it may look scary but it's actually well engineered -- the only really danger is someone getting a heart attack on it but the system itself is not going to fail.

  5. One thing I'd like to mention about the latest episode that's unrelated to SpartAce:

Of all the "global punishments" they did, including Aligator trips, swings and etc., the most dangerous moment of them all actually occurred in this episode. When that helicopter carrying HaHa and YSC suddenly encountered Instrument Meteorological Conditions in mountainous terrain, that was actually more serious than people may have realized. Controlled Flight Into Terrain under low visibility is a real threat, especially if the pilot doesn't have instrument ratings (which may very well be the case for sightseeing chopper flights since they're almost always VFR).

That was actually a pretty tense moment. You can tell people were pretty worried that day too.

  6. Well I first saw PMY in the Netflix variety show 'Busted'. With a team full of fools like Yoo Jaesuk, Kim Jongmin and Lee Kwangsoo, PMY was the carry of the group and I must say I was impressed. In this drama, her beauty had me completely smitten. The acting is on point too. The way she expressed subtleties with her eyes is a pleasure to behold.

I saw PSJ first in 'Fight for My Way'. I thought that performance was decent but nothing too impressive. This drama tho is something else. The character's excessive narcissism is supposed to be funny, but the character shouldn't be treated as a joke. Too much narcissism might make the character irritating or flamboyant, while being too conservative will surely make it bland. PSJ nailed it just right.

I havent watch the latest episode but i've seen some previews on instagram. I feel a little bit hurt towards SJH as no one picked to be her partner. KJK completely ignored her :( that just makes me sad my fellow spartce shippers! Why is she always an option?

Very beginning, Jihyo said something at the airport about (the two of them) kissing with the Swiss Alps as a beautiful background. Not sure if something was lost in translation so Korean speaker please confirm.

I don't know if you guys have seen the last of tiny's ig story (I'm on my phone so i have no idea how to get it in here! But if you go to #spartace you are sure to find it) and it made me think that of course none of their lives revolve around the fans but being a celebrity (specially in SK) must be hard in this SNS era so I was thinking ...could it be that because they know bad things and comments would go ji young's way  because of the whole loveline thing (they probably also thought it would be spartace shippers as SeChan pointed out at the beginning of the project) they try to make it so everyone would see that Ji Hyo and Ji Young are close and good friends ? That would give everyone a better argument to stop the hate comments from JH's fans and spartace shippers (not us, the sane ones, but the idiotic side of the ship that doesn't have better things to do than spread hate and bring dishonor to us all). Not that my theory isn't 90% delu but it would make sense as we hadn't seen JY on JH's friend's radar or any association so recurrent as we have seen lately, of course they have been working together for a while now because of the special and it could be a natural transition but this trend has been going on since the very beggining of this project, so if it's on purpose that they make an effort to display their friendship for all of us to see I would think, PR wise, is a genius idea. JUST MY HUMBLE RAMBLING, feel free to call me crazy

Like I said earlier, HJY sticking close to Jihyo is a very advisable move and HJY is smart enough to know. Not saying that the friendship isn't genuine or anything. Genuine friendship and smart personal choices aren't mutually exclusive.

  9. Honestly if KJK casually blurts out Jihyo's name in a situation like this on TV that's when I'm jumping ship.

Whatever we may think here, the official story remains that they're not together. If they're really together and wish to announce it to the public, they're not gonna just have JK say it nonchalantly in the middle of an MUD episode. I'd be really worried if JK started to pick Jihyo for these sort of things. It would suggest that he viewed her as a "safe" pick or a showbiz couple.

So I don't think people should be too concerned that JK does not pick Jihyo. A moment like this one is intended for selling the episode and generating viewership. The fact that he does not use Jihyo for this purpose is a good thing.

  10. HJY is a very smart girl. You guys notice how closely she sticks to Jihyo? That's a very sensible move if you're gonna have an on-screen loveline with her man.

    There's also this moment:

    rxr43yt.gif

This is from episode 357. After HJY did a "jealous gf" stunt, notice who she immediately went to. Her demeanor was almost a little apologetic.
