Yeah I still have some jealousy left for Soo Ae though I think even if they dated, they probably broke up already haha.
I am a fan of Bideok from QSD but yeah LYW is happily married and already a mother so she's out of question.
I also thought that he had something with him and Jang Nara but nothing comes after that rumor... I wouldn't mind it though lol.
As of now only 3 girls are on my list ah there was another one...the nurse from LUTYN I read there were also fans who thought the same but lol maybe we were just being overly jealous that time.
Yeah KNG was really hot during his QSD days... I hope he will do another action historical drama.

Maybe one of them is sick and the other one had to treat that person so the life of his/her lover depends on him/her? LOL
Maybe LYW is the endocrinologist the guy had some problem and visit her for treatment.
Seems like Medical dramas is still popular in Korea... a lot of them still make it. MBC just had one with HJW (Hospital Ship) though ratings wasn't good.

I remember seeing that Interview when he was in Japan and I thought "if he mentioned SYJ's name then it means he like her" lol and he did so I thought but who knows lol.

Finally at episode 10 lol.
When I first watched this series years ago, I hated a lot of characters mainly because they were against SY but now that I am re-watching, I can feel for some of the characters, although I still hate TJ and felt so frustrated with his wife just letting him abuse her.
And yeah, I can now see the plot holes that's mostly happens in the business plot of this drama though what really excites me is the rivalry of the characters against each other. I was so frustrated to see TJ and MJ looking as if they are winning and SY is struggling with so much problems as if no matter what she does, something will always happen to make her lose and that everything is just going on TJ's way. (although I don't hate MJ as much as I hate TJ).
Off to watch episode 11.

I wasn't able to marathon EOG today but I was able to continue from where I left which is episode 5.
I feek sorry for SY since she really do love her family and her dad but while her dad is still alive his family were all preparing to take the business once he's gone. They thought that SY was trying to manipulate them the whole time so they gave meaning in what she was doing.
I also feel sorry for her younger brother, he was the most innocent and pure one and trust her , he had other dreams but his mother was pressuring him into taking the business...
I really hate the mother, I really wonder if she truly loved SY's dad or just waiting for the time she could take control of his wealth to avenge her husband.

yeah. I saw a lot of comments before that they didn't like that get up haha but I like it. And there was another one she was wearing red or orange? Thought she look so pretty in that one.

Oh I will finally have time to watch tomorrow and during weekends, I will marathon EOG so I can catch up, maybe the plot holes will be clear on later on.
Btw am I the only one who think that LYW looks good with red and orangey clothes, hair and make up?

Ah because I saw that old video of him and Soo Ae during an event. I was curious on why was he escorting her when they didn't even work together and wasn't nominated together... I've never even heard that they were friends at that time. Some people walked alone because they do not have a partner or nominated with anyone but, Soo Ae and KNG walked together and KNG was acting so different during that time, he was like a real man (lol) not a childlike or goofy KNG while escorting her, talking to her non-stop.
Then later on after he was released in military, he was the one who sang the ost for her drama. Later on, I learned that he was actually friend with Joo Ji Hoon (he was one of Soo Ae's leading man in that drama as well) so I thought they became friends through Soo Ae. Soo Ae's love life was also very private, not even a rumor. He was also rumored with one of SNSD member at that time and there was an article that says that his face darkened a bit when asked about the rumor as if he was hiding something (so I thought maybe he didn't want Soo Ae to get jealous or something) haha - a jealous wife's imagination can be scary lol
@universeduck calmed me at that time but I must admit there still a bit of jealousy and suspiciousness in my heart hehe.
I wasn't that jealous of SYJ... probably because I've always doubt that dating rumor about them... exactly because it seems too open, considering you almost never heard anything about their private life. And KNG once said in an interview that he became depressed during the time that he was doing the drama "Shark" (with SYJ) and was also in doubts during filming of the Pirates, thinking if being an actor is the right path for him. He only started to like acting again when he made the movie, The Shameless.
So I thought if he was in love at that time, wouldn't that help him enjoy acting? especially if he was acting with the one he was in love with? But of course there is a chance that they may have dated, though we never heard anything about them again after they worked together so who knows.
I am also a bit jealous of Seo Hyun Jin lol although there was never a photo of them together or evidence, I wonder if there will ever be a photo of her that can be connected to KNG (example, same place or friends)
Although Jang Nara and him seems to be a little bit hard to imagine together, I wouldn't mind if it was her because I like her too.
I also like LJK because of Moon Lovers Scarlet Heart Ryeo - his character reminds me a lot of Bidam though I am not the only one who thinks like that. I like him till now because he seems sweet and kind.

Not really sure about this but I think it was because it wasn't legal? The mom thought SY was just a naive girl who wouldn't do anything about the business, just a puppet she could control so she was able to do everything to her share without SY caring about it all but in the end, the share was still with SY because there was no proper or legal transferring of her shares from SY to her mother.
At first, the mother was acting like a Queen regent while the real ruler is still not in the rightful age or position to do the work. She has the power to do this and that but in the end SY was and still is the rightful owner and when the time comes, she was able to do whatever she wanted with her properties. -

Yeah. When I first watched EOG and read the synopsis, I thought it was a modern day QSD as well but after finishing the whole drama I realized it wasn't. I think that was just a part of QSD nostalgia, when a movie or drama became very popular, it's a bit hard not to to think "Oh this is similar to that" or has something to do with that drama. I even thought Empress Ki was very similar to QSD and that Emperor and Sung Nyang's relationship could be what will Bidam and QSD's relationship will be if Bidam succeed in taking the throne lol.
Though at first SY's father reminds me of how Mishil was able to keep her followers and SY was like Bidam, who had to shoulder the burden of keeping his family at check. But after watching the whole series, it wasn't like QSD at all. The drama was very complex. SY's character really had to endure a complicated relationship with her family.Although a lot of what they say about business and company makes me confused at times lol.
My friend said that EOG reminds her of East of Eden but I've never watched that drama so I do not know.

You are right. Even though a person has already moved from their first love they will still hold a place in your memory and heart.
I have so many dramas that I wanted to watch lately but got no time to watch them... and I usually like to marathon those dramas lol, My Mister is one of the... maybe I will wait once it's nearing it's end haha.
Haven't seen any drama of Jin Jin Hee after Jang Geum and the other one.. Dong Yi and the man who can't get married.
Older actors that I like aside from KNG is Gong Yoo and Lee Jung Ki - Lee Jung Ki almost never aged, I couldn't believe that he was just one year younger than KNG. But KNG is still my no.1 favorite, I think it helps that I do not know much about him so it kept the fantasy alive.
During the movie Pandora or Shameless, I think he was in a relationship at that time... I don't know who - I even broke my own heart thinking it was Soo Ae (I even posted about it) lol

Same here. I love looking at paintings but yeah some art galleries makes me wonder what's the meaning behind them, some of them looked like just a thing that a kid will usually do and put together. But then I love visiting 3D art Museum cause you can play around them, maybe it's the same with this place that LYW visited.

That's also what I remember from that, she didn't really want to get involved in the business and the whole time she was living in this belief that her family was fine and happy (or maybe that's just what she wanted to believe). She just decided to accept it later on and get involve after their father passed away and the family started to get divided and showed their true colors of being selfish and greedy for power. So in order to keep their family together, she decided to get involved and become the most powerful so that her family once again will be able to act like family again.
Her family was a bit similar to Mishil's family in QSD, when Mishil died - all of them got out of control and acted for themselves. In this drama, it was their father that kept the whole family intact and kept them in check about their power and greed so when their father died, they started to show their true colors and intention and SY had to bear the responsibility of keeping the family intact just like what her father did but it wasn't easy because she finally realized the truth about them and knew that the face they showed was just a facade.
I should watch this drama more once I am no longer as busy.

Yeah. I wonder if he had moved on already.
I remember he also talked about it just few years ago during an interview when the 90's was talked about, he felt nostalgic and talked about how he used to wait in line just to see how many times she called or message on his page. Although he said that he wasn't talking about it because he haven't moved on because he already did.

I agree, it deserved more recognition because it was really good and it's also one of my favorite dramas of LYW. I think that was one of the best roles and acting.

Argh! I just watched this show "Let's eat" and they went to the place where old capital of Silla was. They were talking about the place where they were going and one of the host was talking about the Silla and the other host finally got it that it was Queen Seondeok but he said "Go Hyun Jung!" his co-host had to correct him by saying Yes but Queen Seondeok but Lee Yo Won though, not GHJ.
I was so annoyed at that host lol.

Same here. Although in QSD case I wouldn't mind a bit more scenes for Bideok as long as they are not as cheesy as the ones I saw after Deokman became a Queen.
That was also one of the things I didn't like from SFD, I thought that drama would've been perfect without romance.
That's why I liked ASC and hoped that they wouldn't put romance in the story.
There were some dramas that I liked too but I couldn't re-watch them as much as I did with QSD and Empress Ki.
In 49 days my ship was Song-Song couple but I also like the psychiatrist since he care for her and I got a bit tempted to ship her with the antagonist guy when he was starting to like her but since he was a bad person I stick with Song-Song.

KNG became very very private more private than LYW. He do not have any IG account nor does he appear anywhere after a drama or project, he had a FB account that he made after he returned from his military service but he no longer update that, he said he's not interesting in those things. With LYW we at least get some pictures from fans who saw her somewhere but with KNG? not even a shadow! Can you imagine the torture? some of his fans are so loyal though.. some just moved on after a while.
I just imagine he's hiding in a cave.

I am not sure if it's just me... but I thought LYW lost her passion in acting after QSD. Oh yeah I remember that interview where he said that during QSD days, he was so tempted to do some things on his face but didn't and thought he should just focus on improving his acting.

Oh and here I was wondering if I was just confused but now that you said it, it's true that his teeth really did changed, his front two teeth were no longer as big as before and the rest of his teeth got smaller as well.
Though his cheeks are fuller now than before? even when he lost so much weight his cheeks never changed. Or it just depends on his condition? since some actors and actresses looks like their face gets swollen during the shooting of their drama.

I left on episode 15... will continue it's a bit hard to watch 1 episode for day so I am saving the rest of the episodes for the weekend (if I can)
I still feel sorry for SY's brother... he was just a victim.. of his mother's ambition and now SY even used him. I really wish he hadn't and he just let him go in the US when he was willing to give up everything and give it all to her.
Sad that LYW didn't accept it but I also felt a bit relief... I still don't feel good with MBC with her lol. She's receiving so many works but maybe she still wanted to take a rest or still can't see anything she like that's why she couldn't choose from any of them.
