Annyeong chinggus! Just managed to catch up with Ep 1 and 2 this weekend and have not yet watched Ep 3. I must say, I'm really really stoked about seeing Bogum's acting again!
It was weird, though, watching the first episode at arms-length, as I tried to understand what the setup and mood of this story was. The cinematography is definitely beautiful but the background of the two characters are from two extremes and I wonder how they will make it work.
SHK's character here reminds me a bit of her role in TWTWB, reserved, cold and dispassionate but yearning so much for love.
So far my favorite moments are:
- missing each other at that cafe the next morning in Cuba
- JH realizing that SH was the president of the company he is applying for
- drunk JH hitching a ride from the VIP.haha
To me, it will be the little touching moments that will keep people watching this drama.

It's just following the trend. This is like a typical chaebol meets an ordinary happy girl - in reverse.

Well, we all did ask for a new character. This one is very different from previous ones that he has played who were all geniuses in ther own way. Can't wait to see his transformation to make this character legit and believable. Exciting!

Well, well, well. It took him forever and a day to decide on this one so I'm really hoping that indicates a good storyline and script. It will be challenging given the biases the audience naturally has over age differences but I have confidence that these two can pull it off.

The song is quite lovely although I wish there was less reverb so we can hear his beautiful voice better...or maybe that was the actual intention? Sone dreamy faraway voice...
Really hope he finds the character of his dreams soon. He has managed to choose really interesting characters so far (Min, Choi Taek, Lee Young) so I guess it is really hard to choose.

Not sure how many of you know her but if you've watched videos online of Les Miserables anniversary concert, you will recognize her as Eponine and in one edition she plays Fantine. Or better yet, she is the singing voice of Jasmine and Mulan, and she just started watching MDBC.haha.

@dahae2006 speaking of driving skills, does anyone else hold their breath whenever Bogum gets in a car and drives?
I literally breahe a sigh of relief when he reaches his destination safely.
Also, I am now watching Hyori's homestay from episode 1. It feels so cozy and warm even though the weather seems to be too crazy.

Just finished watching the latest episode of Lee Hyori's homestay. I really appreciate this show. The setting is the dead of winter but it gives very warm feelings. Who would've thought we could watch 1.5 hrs of people walking along the beach/forest, a mini singing performance and a mafia game and not feel bored?
I'm glad Bogum got to experience this even though it's very short. He will always have a home welcome for him in Jeju.

I still wish he would cut his hair tho.

The pics and vids from the fanmeet, especially the dancing vids, need to come with a "flammable" warning.
Must have been so tiring for him to do 2 fanmeets back to back.
Also, I enjoy watching him in these types of variety shows. While I would like to see his competitive streak in a more gameshow environment like RM, I think we see more of Bogum, the person, in these very laid back settings. I only started watching Lee Hyori homestay for Bogum's episodes, but now feel like watching the other episodes. Looks like a great bunch of people and I'm glad Bogum was able to recharge there.

i know he loves travelling but he could not extend his stay in chille as his fan meeting on 31st March @ccube3. As usual he did not rest at his hotel room and we saw him walking around in chille ( from fan pictures LOL)
i really enjoy watching his appearance in Hyori home stay.. he is hardworking / considerate / natural funny / talent - anything else i forget.

I wonder if he will stay back and do a South America trip. It's such a long journey to get there. They said during YoF Africa that they want to see the biggest waterfalls. Hope he can stay on and see Iguazu.

Thanks for all the graduation pics and the Esquire pics (!). Don't we all wish we looked as good as he did in our own graduation rites? Haha. Then again, he has somewhat of a Midas' touch. He makes walking along some random trees look like a CF. Reminds me of Harry Potter going into the Forbidden Forest. Or Herbology class.
And really excited about him saying he will definitely return this year. He's always good at keeping his word.

Bogum's popularity is no joke. Looks like a fan meet setting instead of a quick work trip.haha. And while I find it stressful seeing how he's got cameras left and right to his face, one thing I like about these airport vids is that it reminds me of how tall this cutiepie is. He just towers over everyone.haha. Plus, he's always so gracious even tho people are crowding around him.

Thanks for all the pics and vids of the torch relay! Would love to an aerial shot if anyone can find one. Bogum is just such a breath of fresh air. And rainbows and puppies.haha. I love seeing how generous he is with his affections towards fans. In all the videos that come out from his events, he's always been so genuine in his actions.

Just only now watching the 10-yr anniversary special of 2D1N. They were giving out awards and one of the awards was Best Friend award for the show's guests. Nobody guessed it right (I did!) but the winner was Bogum. Him convincing Kim Jong Min to go on that scary ride was the best!

Hello, chinggus! It's been awhile... Life has been hectic since Dec and I haven't had time to continue watching the drama until the past 2 days. So I've been avoiding the forum too and posts in social media to avoid spoilers.
I think it will take some time before I can really fully appreciate what I just watched. It definitely wasn't the easiest drama to follow as it was heavy/melancholic most times. At the same time, as improbable as some of the storyline maybe, I think it did capture daily life as it usually is: sometimes hectic, sometimes slow, and one is never really as fully happy as one hopes but somehow, we just have to get by one day after another, with the presence of our loved ones as a subtle but powerful driving force.
I appreciate the earnestness in Bogum's acting. What seemed an improbable pairing at first somehow became not just believable, but one that you root for. SHK was also impressive. Mostly cold until almost the end, but also vulnerable. I liked how her character changed subtly and did not magically have a character transplant after falling in love.
Now I can finally catch up with all things PBG after the self-imposed hiatus. Hope he getd a good rest after the fan meets.
