Are you majoring in psychology or medicine? I find it amusing that you use the Kübler-Ross model aka 5 stages of grief here
@tinniet LOL! Nursing actually, and I just finished my Pysch rotation which was intense! ... I'm now on my Med-Surg rotation and I'm literally dying! One of the few things I used to relax was getting my ML fix. It didn't matter how much time or sleep I lost, I was more than willing to hand over my free time to watching (and re-watching) ML and stalking soompi for drama goodies, lol! I'm pretty much in the depressed stage because of stress and I've found that my other shows are not filling the void. I should have expected it. With ML's intensity, it'll be difficult and maybe impossible to find a drama to rival it any time soon.

Life is like a dream
Right and wrong, love and hate…
They all get buried with the passing of time and leave quietly with no trace
Do you still think that you don’t have my whole heart and resent me?
I’m always worried that I may have left you with hatred instead of love
Not allowing you to rest in peace…
I still love you
When you gave up everything and stood by me in the rain
When you threw your body in the way of a flying arrow to protect me
You became someone I could never forget in my life
I came to realize that the opposite of loving is not hating
But leaving…
I’m afraid you may think
That I left you
And that you left me
I yearn for you so much
But I can’t be near you
I hope and wait to see you again inside these fences
I’ll be waiting for you everydayc kdramagifHae Soo’s Letter to Wang So (Scarlet Heart Ryeo)@MAROSA_JIN That gif set was incredible... and it once again just reminded me of the richard simmons ending our OTP got.... We're all in denial and experiencing heavy withdrawals that even though the drama is done a lot of us are still on this forum. In fact, some of us are still pretty active post-ML that we're churning out like 5-10 pages a day on this forum. If we're going by the stages of loss, all of us are in varying stages:
DENIAL - denial that the drama's done, that the ending happened, and denial that we didn't get the ending we and our OTP deserved
ANGER - mostly about that richard simmons ending
BARGAINING - negotiating with the PD, the director, SBS.... someone to give us the deleted scenes or even just a video of the alternate ending. Some of us have even made our own fanfics and edited scenes to make our own ending... (which btw, are incredibly fantastic and have been made by such creative and talented users!)
DEPRESSION - mostly because our OTP didn't get the ending they deserved to have.... they didn't have a happy ending in Goryeo and didn't meet in present/future time... instead they were both left yearning and aching for each other...
ACCEPTANCE - most users who have experienced this have already left the forum but many are still here to reminisce about our OTP - to reread/rewatch/relive scenes, MVs, and behind-the-scenes videos and gifs.

MOON LOVERS SUMMARY FOR EP 18
I wasn’t sure if anyone posted yet but… Naver posted the written summary for Episode 18 of Moon Lovers:
Spoiler지몽은 해수에게 광종과의 혼인을 포기하라고 설득하지만 해수는 끝까지 포기하지 않으려고 한다. 한편, 나례의 밤, 광종에게 다가가 황궁 밖으로 놀러 나가자고 제안하는 해수. 광종은 해수가 준비한 가면을 쓴 채, 해수와 함께 둘만의 시간을 즐기는데…
Translation: Ji Mong tries to persuade Hae Soo to give up marrying Gwangjong, but she tries not to give up until the end. On the other hand, on the night of Na-Re*, Gwangjong and Haesoo wear masks, and they pleasantly spend time together…

Are there other countries aside from the stated above?
It's actually also airing in Los Angeles, CA through LA18 channel as well in North America. It's not a simulcast because it only started airing late September but episode 9 will air this Monday. They're airing the SBS version w/ english subtitles but I noticed they also cut some of the scenes to get it to fit in the hour-long timeslot.

@missluxedo “Darth Wook Lord of the Sith” made me laugh so much. But honestly, there are some parallels between Wook and Anakin Skywalker. :X they were both thought of as the epitome of noble/good despite having a rotten core.
As a sidenote, it's interesting how almost every single prince's character has been flipped around over the course of the show with the exception of perhaps Baek Ah. Although even in BA's case, it's arguable that his image of a 'playboy' hasn't held up to inspection ...
I agree, the characters and the writers tout him as a playboy - dubbed as the weakness of every Goryeo lady, the man who can smooth-talk his way out of everything. But I haven't really found any indications or scenes where he lives up to that name.

Jona uploaded this in her blog and I thought this was absolutely fun to read so I thought I'd share it. Something to tide us over until tomorrow night:

Who's Best in Bed: Goryeo Edition?
SpoilerWho's Best in Bed: Goryeo Edition
I am a woman of my word! I said I’d post it if the baseball game cancelled our episode, and here it is. I know you’re all just as devastated as I am, and I’m willing to sacrifice my own innocence–don’t look at me like that, I’m pure as the driven snow–in order to make you guys smile.
Special thanks to @agaggleoffandoms for helping me come up with the list. You are a true heroine. Please don’t hold my ship bias against me. This isn’t intended to reflect on any of the actors, just the characters. This list is intended to be totally subjective based on my own preferences. Feel free to give me your own ratings in the replies
because I find this really funny. So, without further ado here is my “princely sexual prowess head canon” ordered best to worst:
1. The 13th Prince, Wang Baek Ah
Baek Ah is easily the most experienced, the most affectionate, the most attentive and the least selfish lover of the bunch. The only people who come to his house are musicians and women, and neither leave unsatisfied. Sure, he might be a player, but he can also meet your needs on a emotional/intellectual level. Woo Hee is a very lucky girl. A+
2. The 4th Prince, Wang So
So hasn’t had much experience with gentleness or intimacy, but moves and carries himself like a natural. More than a little frightening until you get to know him, once you make it past his defenses he is the epitome of passionate, unstudied sensuality. A powerful physical presence, So would make you feel absolutely safe and secure in his arms. Plus he’s been carrying a sword since a young age, so his hands would have all kinds of interesting calluses. He’s led an affectionless and touch-starved existence, he wouldn’t take just anyone to bed, but to that special person he would be so very tender, tactile and vulnerable.
3. The 14th Prince, Wang Jung
Jung just wants the chance to adore you and make you smile. You’d have to give him a lot of direction–where to touch you, how to touch you–but he would like the way you order him around. He’s very eager to please. What he lacks in finesse he makes up for in unflagging enthusiasm. He might not know exactly what he’s doing, but he would be more than happy to keep going at it until he figured it out.
4. The Crown Prince, Wang Moo
Moo is a simple, good-hearted kind of guy, and those traits would carry over into the bedroom. He would be interested in your pleasure, but maybe not entirely sure how to achieve it. But he is the oldest of the princes and has picked up a trick or two along the way. And he grew of up on battlefields, so at least stamina wouldn’t be a problem.
If you had to describe Moo’s abilities in two words those would be: unimaginative but vigorous.
5. The 10th Prince, Wang Eun
Eun lands himself in the lower middle of the list because he would probably tend to be a little selfish and a little lazy. But Eun would definitely be the most sexually adventurous among the princes, willing to try new things. Down for costumes, role play, new positions, interesting locales. Not terribly intuitive or attentive, but he’s still a playful, fumbling little puppy and he means well.
6. The 3rd Prince, Wang Yo
Yo seems like the kind of guy who would think way too highly of himself to be completely horrible in bed, but everything he has going for him would be about his own narcissistic pride and not your pleasure. Definitely not as good as thinks he is but that won’t stop him from constantly bragging about his exploits.
7. The 8th Prince, Wang Wook
Taking for granted that we’re talking about “attentive boyfriend Wook” and not “Darth Wook Lord of the Sith”, I have a hard time imagining that he would bring a lot to the table sexually speaking. He was married to Myung Hee for years and clearly he wasn’t exactly blowing her hair back. I have no reason to think he would be any more passionate with anyone else. No, Wook is the kind of guy who would hold your hand for hours and compose poetry about you, but after dark, between the sheets, he’s useless. He wouldn’t know how to make you come, wouldn’t try very hard, wouldn’t lose sleep about it. We’re talking 10 minutes of no frills missionary, twice a month until you both die of old age (or boredom).
8. The 9th Prince, Wang Won
Quoted as saying that all women are the same after the lights are off, Won is the bottom of the barrel. 100% selfish 100% of the time, there is nothing good to say about him. Like taking a dead snake to bed. Just terrible.

Ep 16 (Youku) blog recap from breathlesssurvival in spoilers:
Please do not read if you don't want to be spoiled! Even if you read it, please continue to support the ratings for MLSHR!
SpoilerKINGLY AMBITION... AT THE EXPENSE OF LOVE
Tell me you’re not in love with that pair of eyes…The broadcast of the drama in China went on as scheduled so I’ll review according to the Chinese version. I don’t know how many more times I shall say that Lee Jun Ki is absolutely compelling as So. He owns So so unapologetically and is pure awesomeness in every scene. DAEBAK. Really. DAEBAK. Simply Wonderful. Sinfully Sexy.

I'm not sure if this is a re-post as this thread is growing so fast and I'm currently reading page 1115
We have already seen the 1st and the 3rd image of WS, at the rain ritual. When will we get to see the one in the middle, King Gwangjong, (other than the one in HS’s visions) I'm anxious
http://entertain.naver.com/read?oid=311&aid=0000660123&spi_ref=m_entertain_twitter
@minekas I actually think that 2nd image of So (the vision that Soo sees as him being evil) will be shown at the ending, not when he becomes 'evil'
SpoilerIn the C-version of the drama - after Ruo Xi dies, the 4th prince looks out towards the rest of the palace grounds solemnly because although he ended up becoming king, he still lost the girl he loved while the rest of his brothers (except for 13th prince) were all sent off to various places to prevent them from plotting against him. I think that they're going to play it off the same way for the ending in K-version.... After So becomes king, Soo will likely end up passing away soon after. Shortly after that, So will probably look over the palace grounds (like in the picture) and realize the lonely life that he'll have to lead as king - without the love of his life and with only 13th prince as his ally. If you notice in the pic, his eyes don't look like he's plotting something or what-not... I think it looks more like he's sad and lonely.

If YH's main goal was to survive, she would have settled for marrying Yo from the beginning. If she married Yo, she would be safe if he becomes emperor. Other than Won or Wook, none of the other princes would have killed her or sent her off as a hostage if they had became king and she would be less likely to be sent as hostage bride if she was already married.
When Yo became king, YH wore the ring he gave her to show her alliance with him but he STILL sent her off as a hostage to the Khitan because he said that he couldn't fully trust her or her family after they (and especially Wook) had betrayed him. I do agree that a lot of what YH does is to survive but she has said before - "that she is also a woman". Although she may want to be at a place of (more) power, she was still tempted by her own desires, specifically her desire to be with So. I think that the reason why she didn't settle for marrying Yo in the beginning was because she was always curious about So - after all, she had been nursing a crush on him since forever. It's possible that she may have waited for So and then simply went to Yo when he became king because she was stuck - the man she wanted was in love with someone else and flat out refused her proposal while the brother who's supposed to protect her was totally willing to let her be Yo's because it served his purpose.
I'm not a fan of the character, but I do like the way Kang Hanna is portraying her.

I don't know if maybe I'm just overthinking this scene but in the boat scene from today's episode (ep 14)... When So playfully rocks the boat, Soo is practically holding onto the side of it for dear life. I thought at first that it might have just been because she was nervous but then after I rewatched it, I kind of felt like she was more afraid of falling in the water. Like she's afraid of falling in the water and going back to modern day and leaving So?? Please tell me I'm not the only one seeing it...

The Korean fans on DC have decided to gather information on how many people would be willing to purchase the DVD/Blu-ray set if it comes out. While nobody has volunteered to lead the effort, they'll at least get the process going with a temporary leader (because they want someone with more experience for negotiating terms with the production and what not to be the actual leader). I'll bring more information on that here and tag everybody when that starts.
@ruizaio I would totally be up for that, sign me up! If that set also comes with deleted scenes, I am definitely willing to buy it!

Btw, for those who live in the Southern California area and have KSCI or LA18 channel (it's usually channel 18 in most areas) - MLSHR will begin airing this Monday, Sept 26th from 9-10 PM PST and will be replacing "Doctors" with eng subs. I'm not sure which version they will air but I think it might be the international/original version. It'll be a few episodes behind because it's airing its 1st episode this week but with the amount of times I've rewatched the episodes (which I'm sure I'm not alone in this ), I absolutely do not mind....

@churasan I couldn't agree with you more. It truly is a very tragic moment in history right now, not just in America but around the world. It's a complete shock that the American election turned out the way it did and its response has been very similar to the global response after Brexit: disbelief, anger and likely resignation to the results. However, I hope that we continue to work towards our future and do not remain defeated. We shouldn't lose hope....
