Jae chan and hong joo had a past revolve around the soldier incident, both of them lost their father in same day ind different place in tragic way, but in the end they met in same place
When woo tak' funeral was held, I didnt see his father, there're his mother, woman, and 2 young men. Where's his father?
And.. When the hong joo' father heard the news about runaway soldier, he put off the radio when the reporter wanted to gave the detail of incident. May be the reporter reported about another victim that we didnt know..
If the soldier killed woo tak' father but the news just reported 2 victims, but we didnt know may be there's another victim that was woo tak' dad, who never got recognition as hero as jae chan or hong joo' father
Jae chan' father is the first victim while hong joo' father are the second victim, but we knew that there's one person who also died in that day, the soldier,
My point is i think woo tak had connection with that incident, whether his father died because of the soldier or the soldier was his brother
The three of them growing from same tragic past without notice everything not coincident, they share the same dream and the same pain with reason
this drama really human, everyone has his/her weakness not flawless like other drama, antagonist like lee yeo bom has weak side too, not fully evil
Like how congressman came to the funeral with press to gain popularity and symphaty
Or jae chan who thought his father not hero
The writer always give us deep message about life, everything happen for one purpose, like do-ha in i hear your voice, who hided his speciality because he thought he always miserable and unfortunate since he had special hearing..
So did hong joo who had agony since she couldnt do anything to prevent her dream come true in real life including her father death, she regret her powerless for everything
But slowly..hong joo knew everything will be alright..though she knew there's consequence for everything
Hong joo and jae chan have wonderfull father, understanding, patient, lovable, dependable, admirable and genuine, such ideal father in the world, they always wanted their child be happy always, feel safety and trust their child though they lied a lot, they never intend to become hero, but they knew they must save his family and everyone, they bravely face the soldier though definetly they faced their death

@aureolina I'm gratefull he knew the cancer earlier, you know.. they must destroy the cancer cells completely, there's so many cases with perfect treatment and technology then the doctor told them they had recovered from the cancer, but in fact the disease growing inside the body without they notice.... with his hectic schedulle and unhealthy life style as actor and model, lack of sleep, eat junk food, lack of rest, i dont know about woo bin eating habit or his life style, it really give bad affect to body...
yeahh.. welll.. everyone has different fate and story.. though i'm sad because of this shocking news, but also it brought something good for him, a warning to woo bin, he must take care his body even more, to stay healthy so he has long last career in entertainment industry
yups.. i'm also thanks to minah for her love to woo bin.. I really hope their love going stronger beyond the stroms...

I'm so sad with this news..they didnt explain what stage the cancer? the treatment will make him in pain and tiring, and can change his body..
it'll be hard to see him in drama.. So many fans out there make connection with his latest drama.. i dont want to remember that drama in this condition. It's just fiction pure from human imagination.
please stay healthy woo bin... and happy with your life.. so then you can fully recover from this disease completely, so then you can fulfill your dream until the old age...

hello chigus, i'm new in this thread though i like park seo joon since kill me heal me, i really like this guy because of how great he act in every drama, humble, nice, work hard and really adorable, he also has chemistry with every actress and actor whom play a role with him, so then he always has dating rumour with every co star because of how great he potray the character, i am gratefull he has new leading lady who really great in acting, kim ji won, cant wait for their chemistry as well as his previous drama

daebak..i read the running man news about adding 2 members as permanent members, replaced pd and reformat the show...there is no hope gary will be back to the show anymore.
if we asked is it necessary to do that much in this time? yupss.. it is never too late if their purpose to gain viewer and ratin moreover with rm appereance with poor rating despite different time slot, they have chance to lure the fans to love rm again
the original 6 members is enough for me, because so far with their charms and uniques they can blend with the consept in every show though sometimes the show was boring and you stop to watch it. the problem is the team need new idea and consept, may be with the new members they will make different consept, new monday couple may be to replace monday couple, it will be awkward if they make jong kook and ji hyo replace the original couple, altough i agree jong kook-ji hyo really cute as couple

i'm happy with the rm news, but for the fans who enjoy the show so much dont add new member, just cherish the rest member and explore their skill with new consept so that viewers and fans will enjoy the show including ex fans whom in the past really like rm, i miss rm in the past though i wanted to replay in several times i never got bored. with the member spirit and new consept will changes korean' opinion that rm is enjoyable and funny not childish and boring one

episode 19 gave same vibe with the final of man from the star, cheon song yi let do min joon to comeback to his planet for his sake with promise he will back to her side and she will waited for him, in the end they keep the promise trough several years they didnt met but in the end they happily live with each other love
like cheon song yi, joon jae in several times seeing how suffer cheong because of her pain, she hold her pain in silent so joon jae never knew her pain, day by day cheong condition not better but become worst, hence cheong condition forced him to made quick decision to let go cheong for her sake. he knew the best for choeng not in the land but in the sea though his own feeling wanted she live with him forever by his side until the old times, the sooner cheong back to sea the sooner the wound in cheong body will be healed
i agree with joon jae and appreciate his decision though he suffer because of his decision, the best for cheong to live in sea like she used to, i think cheong will erase joon jae' memories, she will leave him in good way, she will live in the sea while sometimes she will take a peak to joon jae' life, but in the end the love will bring joon jae' memmories back that make he will remember cheong and they will start again their relationship in good way forget the past, sometimes cheong will live in the sea and sometimes she will enjoy the date with joon jae in the land, they will spent time until die with promise they will born again to love each other..happily while see dam ryung potrait gratefull to dam ryung and sae hwa whom earlier remind them to keep their love and avoid the bad luck..happy ending.....whatever this is why they said the legend of the blue sea, some people believe there's mermaid live with human happily and some didnt,

chin yun really sad because he knew his father was dying because his mother, while he overheard his father phone call with joon jae about his father true confession about his guilty trough his second marriage he realize all his effort in this time was meaningless, all his sincere feeling or the good job to satisfy his father never reach his father because until the end he never win over joon jae whom for others eye was a bad son compared than him
ma dae young and kang ji hyeon without notice raise a beast, while they afford to fullfill their greediness to collect the money but slowly their only son take the same path with his parents did, kang ji hyeon remind chin yun to keep silent about her crime and never got involved with her crime but she never expect chin yun knew her crime all this time, while she did the crime in the silent, chin yun clean the mess silently including the evidence of the death joon jae father, she tried to made sure chin yun clean from all the crime but she never knew chin yun not the innocent boy like she think...
she instruct chin yun to leave her and joon jae talked but the real reason was she didnt want chin yun heard about her hatefull feeling to joon jae father that will destroy chin yun love towards his father
i think joon jae and cheong will be fine because before she knew the real murderer of dam ryung and sae hwa was not ma dae young but chin yun so with the vision they will avoid the bad luck

dont tell me cheong will leave joon jae because she dont want the se hwa and dam ryun' fate will repeat to her and joon jae.. altough before she said she didnt want to leave joon jae, because of knowing the fact of the past she surely will leave joon jae to protect him from danger and bad fate between them,
please tonight episode no more tears for joon jae... he was really pity he got the happiness because of the meeting with his mother but he must let go his father forever...it's too much for joon jae if cheong will leave him too with his condition now, just cheong can heal his sadness because of the death of his father.. tough i still believe his father still live there in the hospital strunggle to live...please..

i appreciate how the pd and team wanted to gave memorable ending to each members by doing different concept, yesterday episode very good with blind date consept because of their concern to jong kook' love life that each members told several times they worried about jong kook being single forever, but the beginning episode when he pulled the van with member inside the van while the rope be tied at his waist was too much for me because jong kook must endure physically, he really gave all by forced himself to pull with all his strength to pull the van without hestitate ignore the pain in his back and waist. really he must endure physically in almost episode rm in the past.

i pity chin hyun, with his experience from one stepfather to another in short time, but when he live with joon jae' father affection and love made he from the beginning care and love joon jae father from his sincere feeling. but slowly he being greedy, he want to monopolized joon jae father to himself that made he forced joon jae to break the tie with his father and poisoned the father to just look at him with ignore joon jae so he can be real son for him both in the father' heart and in his inheritance, he suspect and realize his mother crime to his father but he remind her in the silent while remind joon jae halfhearted to take care of his father to show to everyone he did his job for being joon jae' father best son, the moment when the father called joon jae name when he was in icu made he realize he was wrong to think the father had forgot about joon jae, he cant erase the parental love from joon jae fathers' heart and the love that tie between them though they didnt show to each other, joon jae always there in his father heart forever whatever will be happen between them in the future or the mistakes in the past and wherever he go to live far away from his father, chin yun feel alone by himself with no one care his needs with his mother busy with her plan and crimes or his father being sick of joon jae, with no one by his side, the lack of father' love and emptiness of father figure also the jealous fullfill his heart courage him to abandon his father side and take his mother side to fullfill her plan without anyone notice his contribution including his mother.
different with joon jae who lack of father and mother figure but can grow to overcome his crisis with the help of his friends though he must strunggle all the time because of the bad memories of his childhood.

i agree with some of you concern about their strunggle for the sake of the show, they are true proffessional that never once in all the times they show their hardship even when the camera didnt record their face or in the end they must got edited like suk jin case, they always enjoy the show because they really love the show even when the consept was boring, i feel bad for them when they got blamed for the low rating though they gave all to the show by sacrifice their body with smile in their face to hide their bad health and pain, all because they wanted to bring laugh and entertain the vieweres not because money or name... but in the end variety show pushed everyone to give up their health not just rm or mudo that sometimes they must stunggle not just their health but their mentality, such as law in the jungle, real man or others shows with or without same consept, i hope they can bring the 7 members to the new show with new consept because it's such a pity for me with all the time i spent time with them in my life must end in february, 7012 ...forever

poor cha si ah she had lost joon jae for sure, she cant win joon jae heart even from the beginning joon jae never got interest to her and then now with chung in joon jae' side made more difficult for her to got his attention, he will gave full attention to chung and ignore her.
the scene when cha si ah and her sister in law discuss about how to find joon jae' mother then she show her arogant manner and look down on joon jae mother, i pity her...
if she had good manner by being nice and sweet girl not fake personality like she always show in front of joon jae, like her sister in law said man always choose woman who treat his mother well, she can win his mother then made his mother will support her tough joon jae didnt love her, but with si ah case,it's difficult for joon jae mother to accept her eventough later she will treat joon jae mother well, joon jae mother will know she fake herself because she had live with si ah for long time that made she got enough of her bad personality and manner

@bebebisous33 one of the current speculations is that KDR and HJJ live parallel worlds and both are moving in time together, just like you had suggested. It would be interesting to see if that is true! In that case, HJJ and SC may not be reincarnations of KDR and SH. Rather, they are separate people connected to help each other. It will be interesting to watch. Another explanation could still be that KDR and SH did not end happily so they were reincarnated as HJJ and SC and given another shot at it. Perhaps HJJ's dreams will lead him to figure out a way to save himself and SW. Judging from the writer's take on this drama so far, I think she has a purpose for playing the two stories side by side. Usually, dramas play the past all in one go and then they jump to the present. So why did this writer choose to play the two stories together? if present time is reincarnation of joseon, that's impossible for dam ryung to got some vision in future time because reincarnation happen when person in present time/joon jae got the vision about his past time, but in this drama joon jae got vision about dam ryung life in joseon and dam ryung got the vision in present time, they are connected
they can help each other, because both dam ryung and joon jae can share the vision they got, dam ryung share the vision of nam ajusshi dying to joon jae that made joon jae curious about nam ajusshi condition, and joon jae share the vision the death time of dam ryung when he read dam ryung history in library that made dam ryung knew his death time, dam ryung was not a fortune teller so it's impossible he can predict his death, or his painting with joon jae and chung kissing in the sea that really happen in the present time, they both connected, like dam ryung said he realize that's something happen in joseon will happen in present sooner or later, parallel world, they can change some incident but cant change all times because it can disturb the history
more important for them to avoid the fate of dam ryung' that he will die in december 11th that may lead joon jae death too with ma dae young always chasing him.
may be the key is in the bracellet because there's always the bracellet in joseon and present time, and if you remember after chung wear bracellet she can met joon jae, the bracellet had lead chung met with joon jae in spain that before they never met or known each other.

joon jae always lost words in front of chung whenever he explain something but he can't answer the curious chung because for her everything must be the reason, she will satisfied and trust with whatever the reason joon jae told to her because of she innocent thoughts, then slowly she learn new thing in human life fom jeong hoon that human always lie, she knew the characteristic of people lying, that person can't meet your eyea, stutter, or touch the ears, at times they touch their lips or cross their arm to take defensive posture, with that information she practiced to joon jae by asked him if he have plan to like her in the future, she look joon jae in the eye and see all his gesture just to made sure he was not lie, but then he said he had no plan in future to like her, she dissapointed with his answer because she cant suspect joon jae lie gesture, he avoid eye contact in several times, he cross his arm and touch his ear that for innocent chung can't bring herself to not trust joon jae' words, because from the beginning she always believe joon jae is trustworthy person but different with cha si ah when she quickly realize cha si ah was lying to her because she can read her lie gesture eventough earlier she trust cha si ah words about marriage.
indeed joon jae can look chung eye in several times trough their conversation, then before he close his eyes and take deep breath, but the confident comes to him because of his job to hypnotize people
because of her innocent mind, she leave him and told joon jae she gave him some time without realize her words made deep impression to joon jae, joon jae different with chung who not affraid to love but for joon jae he cant take a risk to love because of his fear of being hurt or disappointed because of his experience with his parent divorced and his mother whom abandon him.

one of serious lesson from this drama is we must pay attention with fugitive news, in this drama there's several times crime news broadcast the news of ma dae young, but because of the ignorance there's victim wherever ma dae young there, it same case with the loan shark whom murdered by ma dae young.

earlier chung endure all the way go to seoul with so many efforts by adapt human life just with willing to be joon jae side with or without joon jae love her back, it's all from innocent mind of her.
then she knew from jeong hoon all the strunggle he afford to chase his love but in the end he must died because of his choice to live in the place where hye jin live eventough he knew hye jin didnt love him
but hye jin said both she and jeong hoon was hurt because jeong hoon' secret and because of the big different between her and joon jae made her leave joon jae, but then we knew the real reason of their separation because of her fear to accept the reality which the man she love was a mermaid
everything because they both knew joon jae was mermaid so they both hurt because of the reality eventough they knew they love each other
chung had heard both side whether jeong hoon and hye jin side that made her realize that she and joon jae will face jeong hoon and hye jin problem sooner or later, she in confusion to leave joon jae with many times she will longing to joon jae or die slowly but in joon jae' side both will gave painful effect to her because she must endure all the pain by herself alone like jeong hoon
but the real reason she confuse not because of her one side love to joon jae or jeong hoon incident but because she didnt want joon jae suffer or being hurt because of her,before it's too late, from her sincere love for joon jae

sae hwa and chung had different character, which sae hwa more calm and feminine side while chung active and cheerful person.
joon jae mother had different status, in joseon she was nobleman while in present she is a maid
yoo na, the girl who helped chung many times, in josoen she had friend surround her but in present she had no one but being bullied
nam ajusshi, in joseon he was dam ryung best friend while in present he is joon jae father' employee
joon jae stepmother, in joseon she was mr yang' concuibine while in present she is joon jae' stepmother that because joon jae mother and father being together in josoen time while in present time they divorced
in joseon and present time, both joon jae' stepmother and mr yang had connection and had same character both greedy and evil
but for si ah, tae oh, nam doo, and chin hyun, we yet know about the resemble in josoen time, but for nam doo i got bad feeling of him, before he lie to young joon jae, he promise to find joon jae mother but i doubt his sincerity to help joon jae and in the end he recruit him to be his member, in chung case he persuade joon jae to let chung live with them because chung said she had many antique things like dam ryung' bracellet in her house, his true nature just being headed to where money goes or in other words his heart lead by money. so i'm affraid his curiosity of dam ryung made slowly made he recognize chung not ordinary human, then he can smell money on chung, he will sacrifice chung to be his money machine like mr yang did in the joseon time.
for chin hyun, i think he is not nice person as shown, he seems angry with his evil mother not because he hate his mother being mean or cruel to joon jae but he like his mother being elegant and neat with her plan so his father or police can't suspect her for the crime she made, he wanted made his father cut tie with joon jae forever by pretend to be nice and reliable son than joon jae so his father will think joon jae is bad son, i think he have a evil plan to made joon jae dissappeared forever from his father sight, he more evil than his mother, he heartless that can murder someone who disturb him without second thought. he not feel guilty when he hitted chung before.
the present time is not the reincarnation of the joseon time, but because the parallel world they had connection each other, if something happen in josoen time it will happen in present sooner or later, like nam ajusshi, in joseon time he was hurt when he was young age but in the present time ma dae young beat the old nam ajusshi.
i think the nightmare that dam ryung see or dream that joon jae had, not supposed to be dream but vision. it the reality in both time. it may made dam ryung had vision about present time while joon jae had vision about joseon time, it made sense dam ryung can paint joon jae and chung that never existence in joseon time. they share vision in same age, 27 years old since both joon jae and dam ryung had met the mermaid
so both dam ryung and joon jae will find a way to communicate each other, so they can avoid the "11 th december" the time when dam ryung will die. in library, joon jae can share his knowledge about dam ryung' history to dam ryung so dam ryung knew he will die on 11th december, they both can made contact with share vision with realize it.
in the joseon time the incident occur earlier than present time, like sae hwa uncover identity that yet happen in present time, the murder of nam ajusshi which in joseon time happen sooner than present time, so if dam ryung death time will be 11th december it possible will happen to joon jae not same exact time but need some time longer than that day.
and for cha si ah may she was dam ryung dead wife...

joon jae had bound with cung altough his memory erased, the unique cung can made joon jae comfortable with her,,hahha,, than the woman whom like him for long time cant got his heart, but cung in the short time can made joon jae smile and she got his attention.
mr yang how bad you are.. you are so greedy, you chase mermaid in joseon time and now in the present you still chase her.
poor joon jae, he had bad experiences with woman, his real mother abandoned him, his step mother cruel to him, and now cha si a whom the annoying one chase him desperately even too much, it's acceptable he didnt want to fall in love or loved because of those woman made him sick of love and to be player, but there's one woman can touch his empty heart with her understanding,
