Thank you @Ainee Etp. Gosh, I am so happy that finally he revealed himself as the King but your mentioning on the preview tarnish my excitement. Why can't they go easy with him?

    I feel the same.

SMJ is like getting beaten to pulp, turned over and then beaten again.

Can't they give him a moment to breathe? I am losing respect for SW as this episode progress. I know he loves AR but all his fight is for AR, AR and AR. I don't think he cares for anyone anymore now - not Suho, not Hwarangs and certainly not SMJ.

  2. SW arrived at the temple. SW is walking towards him and AR seeing someone aiming an arrow at him. She rushed to block the arrows. She is gravely hurt but we don't know if she's dead.

Queen is on the throne room and facing pressures from the official.

The door opens and SMJ marches in his royal garb. YAY!!!

YS looks like he's going to pee in his pants.

    SMJ announcing himself.

"I AM KING OF SILLA. JIN HEUNG."

    END.

  3. SMJ is discussing with Master WH about YS. I think WH is urging him to act fast (cause he knows what SW is going to do now?)

A ceremony is going on at a temple-like place with the potrait of previous Wonhwa. Princess thinks back the conversation she overheard between the queen and the guard.

Princess accused AR of causing/bringing danger to SW.

AR is deeply affected by her words and remembers all the time SW almost got himself killed for her. (HEY, DID YOU FORGET SMJ TOO?)

  4. SW brought HS's body into the classroom full of Hwarangs and Master WH. YW is deeply saddened. Master WH confirmed that HS is dead.

DS is alone in a shed, tried to kill himself with a broken ceramic. SW stopped him just in time.

SW gave him a letter to read and left. It was a letter from HS to grandpa, telling him that he will make a path for himself. (So sad... just about when he wants to be a responsible adult)

  5. Dan Sae went to find SW who is practicing wooden sword, claiming he has something to say to him. Is the poison to kill SW???

Yes, it is. He spread his sword with poison. He ask for a sparring with SW. SW is shocked by his aggressiveness.

SW noticed something's not right and shouted at him but DS continues to attack. NOOOOO... HS witnessed the fight.

Turns out HS did peeped into the box and found a note for DS - "Must Kill". He figured out the meaning and jumped between SW and DS.

  6. BR is in the room, happily looking at the pouch that SY gave. Suho came in gravely saying that their fathers will not allow them. BR asking if he is worry about him, Suho says he's worry about SY.

HS received a box, opens it and found a message. He finds Dan Sae and the box is actually meant to be pass to Dan Sae. HS doesn't know the content and Dan Sae refused to let him see the content. HS was distracted by SW walking by and runs to him.

Dan Sae rethinks back what his grandpa told him. Dan Sae is objecting to the matter. Grandpa HS is asking Dan Sae to poison someone in the Hwarang. The box contains the poison.

  7. HS was reading something out, then later mentioned about his grandpa.

HS saying that he's planning to make a path too (I think). SW put his arm over him and saying he will walk together with him. HS is on cloud nine.

SMJ is still in the classroom alone. Pa Oh finds him and told him something.

BR and SY are over the fence, dating!!

BR is soft and cutie pie at this moment, SY placing her hands on his face and swoop for a kiss.

  8. HS grandpa and Dan Sae are outside of YS house, asking for help from YS. He even kneel down to become the step stairs for YS. YS gladly stepped on him. Dan Sae is angry.

HS is looking for SW all around Hwarang but could not find him. YW is upset that HS oblivious to his existence.

SW is alone at a corner while thinking back HK's proposal to make him the King. (no, don't you dare, SW!!)

  9. Queen rethinks back the past where she killed the woman. The woman was begging for her life while holding her pregnant belly. The woman says she will keep the child secret, not even giving him a name. No one will knows.

Queen stabbed her anyway while the woman continues to beg until queen feels the pain on her own stomach. She stopped stabbing the woman. Oh... the queen is pregnant at the same time as the woman. SMJ in her mother's womb sort of saved SW!!

Both women fell onto floor crying.

  10. Continue from last episode. Queen is telling AR that she will make her a Wonhwa and something about dying, maybe talking about the fate of previous Wonhwa. AR is in tears. SW is running to the see Master HK.

Master HK told SW that (I think) queen is sacrificing the Wonhwa just like what used to happen to the previous. When SW ask him if there's any way to save AR, HK said he will have to be the king. SW agrees. HK told him that his father is still alive.

HK : "You are my son. I am your father"

    SW is shocked.

LOL. I agree too. Actually there are a lot of glaring flaws like the unguarded palace and throne room, and there's the case of Sun Woo's hair yet I still can forgive the production for all these but totally cannot forgive the writer for making SMJ appearing pathetic. Everytime Master Ahn Ji and Hwi Kyung talking about replacing the king and Sun Woo is more deserving of the throne, I feel like getting punched at the stomach because they sounded like a broken record, trying to brainwash us the viewers to accept that Sun Woo is more of a king than SMJ. Ok, I went off topic.

I agree. Starting from their entourage, the writer has been making SMJ into indecisive, unsure king who keeps running after a girl who don't loves him. AJG and HK is just planning to replace the king just to spite the queen, not even knowing SMJ personally. They saying as if SMJ stole the throne. Which is the reason why..... I secretly hope SMJ is AJG's son so that AJG will be hit by the lightning for hurting his own flesh and blood:angry:

  12. Watching some of the Real Men. For anyone not familiar with this TV Show, it is a show where celebrity admitted to military service and training.

Hyung Sik was in this show (broadcast date from mid 2013 to Aug 2014) and this catapults him to become well known name amongst Korean viewers with nickname "Baby Soldier". Most of other casts had served in military before but it was first time for our Hyung Sik-i. Hence he faced a lot of hardship, that I don't think many idols can endure.

Be warned though, he's in very different charisma from what we have seen him as actor now. It's a very raw (no makeup, no hairstyle, super-tanned), painful and boyish version of Park Hyung Sik.

He has come a long way to be what he is today.

    Spoiler

I just want to share this.

I love the write up on PHS. Credit to the writer @briseis

"It’s scenes like these where the script actually allows Jinheung to act like the king he is, instead of being just reduced to being the fifth wheel of a pointless love triangle, that are the highlights of the entire drama (basically all the scenes with the veteran actors). They are also the very reason why PSH has been receiving so much critical acclaim and attentiom from the media and viewers - out of all the young cast he is the only one who delivers A TRUE SAGEUK PERFORMACE. His sageuk speech and diction are on point. These are the scene that show you what could have been if Hwarang was written by a good writer. "

    http://dreamingsnowflake2013.tumblr.com/post/157197187909/its-scenes-like-these-where-the-script-actually

Yes, he speaks very well in sageuk and it's hard to believe he is first timer in sageuk. His style reminds me of our sageuk king LJG.

I kind of wondering about the same thing as Briseis:

"I like these throne room scenes because it’s such a pleasure to watch and listen to a bona fide sageuk acting, but honestly, WTF, writer?!! I give it to you that it’s cool but on the other hand UTTERLY STUPID (like most of the drama) because the Royal Palace is the most guarded place in the entire country, there are guards and servants everywhere, but Jinheung manages for umpteenth time to come, CHANGE HIS CLOTHES (where does he keep them hidden anyway?), WALK AROUND THE PALACE AND SIT ON HIS THRONE WITHOUT ANYONE NOTICING?!! "

I have been wondering where did he hide his royal robes too. :sweatingbullets: . Aren't they too troublesome to put on? Still.. I love our SMJ in royal garb.
