I understand that love is sometimes blind but does it really have to be that blatently stupid, this drama is frustrating to say the least. She was in soaking kneeling in pooring rain and saw WW walk up to her but then turn around and walk away, sure she was shattered, but of all things yet again WS stood by and protected her and was there for her.
I appreciate she is struggling with her emotions around him, but they have made her character colder than the enemy in that she has no compassion or very little compassion for WS.
So let me guess the aim of the last part of the drama is to tease us endlessly of the will they and wont they part, then finally we are about to get the they will part and zap she goes back to there own time zone again he thinks she has disappeared or dead and then we get the lust long ending like in the other version.
This drama was only salvagable if she showed any kind of respect for him or compassion, she doesnt. At least the evil characters are transparent with there intentions. Sorry for those HS lovers or sympathisers with her but she has got well past irritating for me now.

Thats the part that worries me as well, he is so blindly devoted to her and she doesnt really love him as much as she does care about him. But if she falls in love with him and then something big splits them up it doesnt sit right to me all of this drama to get them together and something even bigger breaks them up?
Especially if this follows the ending of the other versions as well, i do like the chemistry with them and hope they change the ending. But i guess like everyone else will have to wait and see.

Now that is just pure craziness even i know that NOW is not a good time of all things to put WS into a challenging situation with a sword in hand. He is really mifffed about a few things at the moment and he is already proven how crazy, scarily talented he is with a sword. tsk tsk...thats just pure silliness.....lol

While i havent watched all the episodes yet just keeping up with the recaps, Wooks attitude started to change slowly in the last few episodes, due to WS's determination to protect her and look out for her.
From what i can see he feels like an outsider to the whole palace and yet sees the evil in it, and see's her being neive and believing in people he know will let her down. While she didnt trust me, loyalty and the strength of his conviction is what will slowly win her over like tonight. He said was the start she was his and will protect her, and he did. Wook on the other says he loves her and walks away. While still and outsider he will stick with his principles and i like that about him.

It doesnt suprise me with Wook turning against HS or WS for that matter, not sure if its cultural or drama land but common theme is doesnt matter how much you love someone you are dishonoured or embarrassed to show your face to your loved one and you sacrifice and take on the families crimes as your own and walk away. While i have seen the rare case this doesnt happen, in alot of the dramas/movies its a common theme.
But its balanced out by how much WS is doing to try to protect her.

From the way im reading the show so far and there chemistry she is still in love with the other prince or he looks besotted with her but looks like that gaze from the 4th prince after the make up was on made her catch herself hence why she grabbed her wrist to remind herself there.
Soft and gentle has its place for sure but in that kind of terrain you have to be strong willed which is what the 4th prince has.
Can someone give me a spoiler from the book if they do end up together in the book? the reason i am asking is that i have seen other versions of this show and curious if they do match up or if its completely different.

I feel sorry for WS in a way, I mean he has the scar to remind him but he is made to feel lowly by all around him, to some extent i think he has toughened himself up enough to protect himself. But at the end of that last episode she nievely tries to bond him back with his family, she wants the best but I feel she doesnt understand and thats what i think hurts him the most.
To him it must look like she too is an outsider like he is in many ways. But the look in her eyes at the scar and what went down makes him feel even worse than anything his family could do to him. I think it takes alot for him to care about anyone but to think all she is doing is looking at him with pity just makes him resent her i expect.

Can someone please tell me who has read the book if the crown prince does marry someone else at all or does he only end up with her? I am extremely curious here.

@myscatonia Thank you for getting back to me on that, its nice to know, you can sort of see it in the series but everyone is also detached emotionally that its easy to miss. The only one who really gives it away would be KO here n there. But its good to know that Mei is just as invested in the relationship as KO is.

I liked this drama, all the characters had personalities so vastly different that you enjoyed it completely. Didnt matter if it was XN's friends or XN himself or WW's friends or WW herself.
I liked the chemistry between KO and Mei, would of been great if there was more but hey i dont think the books or script catered for that and i doubt it would of got past sensors anyhow.....lol But the subtle gentle look occassionally from KO was enough for me, would of added more if Mei was a touch more responsive but i think its his characters inexperience there.
The only thing that i really disliked about the series and even then it was only slight was i found XN a bit robotic in emotions, didnt always show emotions and maybe in part that was the script or book but i even with a dead pan blank face could of shown a bit of expression at times. It was there and you could see him smile or laugh but those moments were rare and they would light up the screen when he did, so that was disappointing.

Thankfully i have a drama to go through withdrawls on for Wednesday and Thursdays or the chemistry with these two would have me climbing the walls till the next episode. Wow its intoxicating just watching them, and when he just gazes at her not realising who she is it just breaks my heart.

I keep getting drawn back to this drama initially i didnt want anything to do with it as the lead character played a psychopath in another drama and was very good in it.....lol
But his personality in the role is hilarious and after watching the "Bombastic" promo i cant help but watch the episodes over and over again.
He had an angry personality which doesnt help and i gather that is intention as he no doubts softens later, but please dont tell me its going to be one of these "cant beleive you betrayed me and didnt tell me your a woman" situations followed by "lets seperate out for ages or i will send you off to damn knows where" followed by a "I miss you even thou you have gone back to your own time I will pine away for you endlessly" as that really gets old when they do that in these kind of dramas.
But fingers crossed as i am drawn to what happens here.

@shinesun Your lucky in this drama it was easy to find out the names your after;
- Zheng Yecheng as Hao Mei
- Zhang Binbin as KO
Although I am sure I have seen Zhang Binbin in something else before thou, but i can google that later. They keep on only subtitling 2 episodes per day. Dont get me wrong i dont want to appear greedy as i do appreciate the work and time involved in translating but that means even thou it ends today will be until the end of the week for me to get to the final episodes. *le sigh*......lol
I do love Zheng Yecheng character and the actors personality, he is childishly funny which breaks the drama up. While i like the drama i think at times they have spent to much time focusing on irrelevant stuff that could of been cut shorter and extended other scenes instead. At first the theme worked but as you get on and understand the characters you do need to hold that length of time for each character, you can shorten the scenes. Thats the only fault i can pick with the drama. (i really dont want to get into her kissing as really its irritating to yet again comment on an actress however its also not helped my his overzealous kissing as it makes there kissing styles clash, but thats not there fault the producer or director could of corrected that but sadly didnt).
Please just give me episode 29 subbed and i will be a really really really good girl for the rest of the month even......pretty please with suga on top. LOL..somehow i think im definitely going to need patience today.

Omg while i didnt know this storyline was in this series i waiting 28 episodes for tonights 29th. Omg finally the KO & Mei kitchen scene and hopefully the bonding conversation as well as the tender moments. *fingers crossed* they do the book justice despite the sensors.
Surely it being the last episode or so they can get away with it.

I got my fingers and everything else crossed they end it as well as they have throughout the series, including for Mei and KO. I am hoping to not be disappointed here even if they are minor characters but why put there hints along the way with them if you are not going to give them anything at the end.

There are a lot of characters i like in this drama, I was suprised how 'Perfect" the main characters are, but also in one sense i am not sure if its her being so timid or the script there tends to be alot of her tolerating the blame going on and XN having to get her out of it and also blaming her for stuff that would all be clarified if XN actually acknowledged he was her in game wife. The heat would go across to him instead. But i suppose thats just the script itself.
I also got to love the personality of this brothers as well they are all individual and add so much charm to the show. Needless to say i have already voiced my interest in the Mei & KO connection. That is really gentle and considering hackers are suppose to have a loner reputation its good to see him connect with someone especially mei who also responds to him.

@evie2016 Excellent that is what i read about online but wasnt sure if that was the translation or fan fiction. Yes as it is extremely minor and hinted at it hasnt been blocked by the censorship like alot of other things are, But you can so feel the chemistry there, although i agree i think KO is just as cunning as XH is. But i like how Mei reacts, okay given it is childish but also everyone is one great big group of friends, he has someone he can fuss over and that will look out for him as well. Which is implied by the little things they do. I do hope they give these guys a good send off together even if they are minor characters, be disappointing if they didnt. So thank you for confirming that.
But i am curious about one thing thou from someone who has read the book, how much was premedidated by KO. They were suppose to get married in that other game before Mei bailed......lol. But then curiously randomly out the blue KO who happens to be a hacker finds him again but is "shocked" at there connect. Was that pure coincidence from the book or was there something more.

Okay the storyline so far up to date, as much as i am really interested in the main character hook ups I really am interested in the friendship developing with Mei & KO. What is happening there, there is a preview clip on the episodes where he invited himself to cook at Mei's place. I havent read the books so there are mixed stories as to what happenes with these boys but they bring out the best around each other and Mei makes me laugh.
Does anyone know where they are at or where they end up at? As i prefer to get the news from here rather than the different translation posts online.

Well i am going to give it a shot anyhow and see how it goes only for the fact i really really hope this ending is not like the other versions ending. The other thing as well as they pull across Kpop singers into acting yet for some reason expect them to be able to act well in there first Kdrama/Kmovie which to me is unreasonable. Doesnt matter if its Yunho, changmin, Jaejoong or anyone else for that matter, if popular actors can bomb out in movies or dramas why cant singers who are inexperienced to start with.
So stuff it will stick it out and see how it goes.

I havent yet started getting into this drama but am curious if its worth watching. Reason being I have already seen the other version and know the plot line goes. Despite the attraction of the main cast in this one my other reason for raising this question is that the leading actor and actress in this are being slammed for poor acting. So i am curious what the forum thinks as they are tuned in episode by episode of this one.

The ironic part about all of this is she originally was cringing at all the voilence yet everyone seems to be even more up in arms and violent cause she is involved with them all and they all have their motive increased because of her influence yet she is oblivious to that........lol
Gotta luv the script writers on this story.......
