It looks to the outsider as miraculous but they don't see the effort behind every heartfelt input that has gone into giving the best. I hope the Japan reception is great. There was a japanese investor, Sega Sammy with the production as well. If marketed well, it can be successful.

I hope Stiges fest was successful and if IM Global doesn't then they better get a competent distributor for international market.
I am already missing Soo-hyun so much, it hurts. He has started to look younger somehow? More wise? His eyes have changed. The aura around him is more sedate. He looks like a handsome but simple boy. There is less glamour and the public, strong persona seemed to have been stripped away. It must not be easy to leave away a career and life well established and return to the grind of uncertainity. I know it has been long time coming and everyone knows, Kim Soo-hyun doesn't need to worry about anything but for me it is cruel, both for him and his fans. We couldn't celebrate one thing in peace without unnecessary input from useless people. Now we wait...for 2 years.
I hope that KSH is all well and resting and connecting with friends and family. Also that his mandatory duty goes smoothly and he takes care of his health. He did have a surgery before. I can only wish him all the best for his future and a peaceful time ahead of a hard military training. I know we will meet a different, more worldly Soo-hyun on the other end and that he will return to us soon with a new colour and project so we will be anticipating. There is nothing like him and none can take that place. So All The Best Wishes to Kim Soo-hyun to take on a new responsibility with vigour and composure. We will always keep supporting him and have faith in him as his fans.

Most of these sites are just click counters and fan baits to earn more ad/revenue. No real maintainance here.
The site has same section for which results show up every time we click the icon. Once done, the page has to be refreshed again to vote again and so forth upto ten times. It is ten votes per day. KSH is close to the lead so hope everyone tries!

We all are waiting for Real's English/Regional DVD release. Hopefully soon, it is still running in Taiwan and Japanese release is yet to happen. I wish it can open in other international markets as well.

Taemin's drama is only for Amazon Prime Japan users but people are demanding for a DVD release which is unlikely. It is made for a very Japanese audience. I will share the first ep with subs here For rest of the episodes I can share that in a PM as all of this is not very legal.
About that horrendous hurricane, I am really sorry to read that you were affected by it. Hopefully you are well and safe.

@shineeukshawol That vid was so cute, I had watched it before, wondered why Taemin got shocked by what Jonghyun said. I just didn't get it.
I am waiting for eng sub of 'Somehow 18' to watch Minho act. He has really grown as an actor after facing public scrutiny and improved amazingly. And now he is playing three different versions of the same character, it is awesome. So kind-hearted and undefeatable.
Now Taemin is doing a mega project with some of the best actors, he is going to be great, I know it.
About the Tokyo Dome, it was so bittersweet.
SHINee and Shawols are a wholesome family and nothing and none can take that away. We are just going to come out of this better and stronger. Also they performed a new hawwt song from there comeback album. Now I can't wait for it and Taemin's cb. 5HINee forever!!

I heard the script for Real was around for years but no director or actor dared touch it. On paper it sounds intriguing and marvelous but no one believed it can be properly conveyed in film. I guess they are right to a certain degree. It is a very complicated and convoluted story and requires a very skilled and experienced director to helm it. I remember reading an interview with Ang Lee on his movie Lust, Caution, which is based off a short story by famous writer Eileen Chang. Lee said that a simple scenario that Chang effortlessly depicts in words requires him the effort of overturning the earth and sky to film.
Though I have lost count of how many times I've seen Real, I have yet to put the pieces together to understand the complete story. Those who have seen it or at least read reviews or synopsis of Soo Hyun's characters will understand why he was so adamant on taking this role. The characters of JTY are so complicated and multilayered that an acting fanatic like him would not want to pass up the opportunity to pour everything he's learned about acting into it. If the box office is not factor in acting awards, I would not be surprised if he picks a best actor award or two with this role. It is honestly the best he's ever done to date.
Yuzu, thank you for putting this so well. There are certain things ahead of their time and the film is an example of that. Coupled with unfortunate editing and a vicious media, the desire to pull a better man down, people have lost their objectivity. Whatever is the result, he seems to love it and said it was the best he had ever acted.
I wish I can watch it already. It is the kind of a movie that with a little polish can easily make rounds around international film festivals. Hopefully, even if it suffered due to the lacking reception, it is acknowledged in terms of complexity and acting prowess of the lead.
For a megastar with massive popularity and immense expectations, he took the less travelled road, he is definitely paving a new way for Korean movies in terms of the art that is acting.
