    done watching episode 17 (international version)
    so sad to see wang yo :( a child still a child who seek of mother's love and care, especially during their worst time. but the mother just care about the throne... so sad. finally he understand what So's feeling being abondaned by his mother
    Indeed the throne is so scared and lonely, i can't hold my tears when general park soo kyung left the palace 
    then...a woman with scar can not marry the king ?? c'mon, you are king now... change the law please :) you to have many scar right ? :)

And if they even,for one moment,  begin to find the SooWook ship appealing (even after all the warnings you've given them), make sure to nip it in the bud by telling them that the SooWook ship was unfairly favored by the number of episodes but the SoSoo ship has the better intensity :)

    And if they're anything like my friend who came over today, they will quickly schedule next weekend to watch the next 8 episodes because having their viewing experience end with the cliffhanger of the rain ceremony and Soo's visions is just unfair.

    I just spent the last 8 hours in a nonstop marathon so I've missed a ton in these threads. But I'll be catching up soon :)

    I have a friend who never watch saeguk drama... once i suggest her to watch faith since the cast was the famous lee min ho... she refuse it.. it doesn't fit her taste because the wierd hairstyle, awkward costume, etc.

    A while ago i persuade her again to watch moon lover... by giving her a beautiful picture of the cast.. and you know what.. she likes it.. and keep asking me for the new episode airing :wub: 

    I also suggest her to lurking this forum, i don't know if she already come to this forum.

    MLSHR IS THE BEST SAEGUK DRAMA SO FAR... at least it fit the taste of a person who refuse to watch saeguk drama :heart:

His eternal loneliness is the ultimate price he is willing to pay in exchange for her freedom and safety because he LOVES HER SO MUCH HE CAN’T BE SELFISH WITH HER and it doesn’t come as a suprise because even years ago he was capable of such sacrifice when he offered her marriage and subsequent divorce just to save her from slavery. The knowledge that she would be free and safe is enough for him because he would never ask of her to wait when he can’t marry her, when he can’t give her everything - he loves her too much to ask that of her.

     

    “Now I must look like a monster in your eyes, too. I did kill Eun.”

    It’s the ultimate, heartwrenching irony of fate is that Wang So sarcastically and self-depricatingly tells HS that now she must think of him a monster IN THE VERY PLACE WHERE SHE PREVIOUSLY TOLD HIM HE WOULD RUIN EVERYTHING AND THAT SHE WAS AFRAID OF HIM. And finally, the fact thatHE IS IS BREAKING UP WITH HER IN THE VERY PLACE WHERE SHE HERSELF TOLD HIM TO LET HER GO, TO LEAVE AND GO FAR AWAY AND NEVER RETURN. In the end, SHE GETS HER WISH AND PUNISHMENT - she feels the same desperation So felt when she was pushing him away, it’s HER NOW WHO IS AFRAID SHE IS ABOUT TO LOSE HIM FOREVER.

In every site that I visit, legal or illegal... it is the most watched show or at least the most commented on one among those currently airing. I've never seen anything like it in the 6 years that I've been watching K dramas consistently. A show with lowish ratings in SK fuelling so much discussion and getting so much love. With all its "flaws", it is definitely doing something right. Enough to have that kind of a  pull and such a devoted fanbase. And just because the ratings are low doesn't mean Koreans don't like it because there's so much fan art out there. ML is something of a world-wide phenomenon by any stretch of the imagination.

    I know ratings are important to the cast, crew, PD etc for important financial and even artistic reasons.  For some fans it's a vindication of their viewing habits but it shouldn't be. People should enjoy the shows they watch for their own sake even if no one else likes them.

    I'm probably sounding like a cranky ajumma right now and I wasn't going to say anything at first but it seemed like the issue isn't going to go away anytime soon. In fact, I'm concerned it will get worse.

     

    agree with you @40somethingahjumma i do watch beautiful mind instead of doctors and the rating of BM is below compare to doctors, for me it doesn't make any sense.. same like what happen with MLSHR

    but then again... people should enjoy the show  they watch for their own sake even if no one likes them :wub: 

    people want to watch their preferences (can be different aspect, the actor/actress, the genre, story line you can list it)... and MLSHR is our preferences because of its amazing actor/actress, the story line, the costume, the genre, the LJK :wub: 

    for me, everything about MLSHR is perfect. And many of fans are so creative in analyzing the storyline, make creative stuff (drawing, video, fanfic, etc).. make other to sneak up the history of goryeo, the technical thing about the angle shoot, at least this is what happen in this forum... so many love for LJK and the cast of MLSHR. 

    they work hard are paid off by the love and support from their fans :heart:

    i've seen all his drama during the past 2/3 weeks (my addiction of KDrama is back :P ... i think my addiction to KDrama is about 10 years ago). thanks to LJK and MLSHR.

    I also watch drama Faith because LJK suppose to be the main role in that drama, but due to his military enlistment, it goes to Lee Min Ho... LMH is not bad.. but i was wondering if it was LJK... he is so much expression *daydreaming :wub::wub:

    i watched some of LJK video, his fanmeeting, his dance video, see his instagram (like other fangirls do :wub:)  

    one of the video is his charity action in indonesia, he is so adorable, lovable... easy going... have a sense of humour

You have to wonder whether Wang So isn’t simply pretending (and he is TOTALLY pretending because he CAN FIGHT WITH BOTH HANDS) BECAUSE HE ACTUALLY WANTS SOO TO FEED HIM since the scene obviously continues with him feeding Soo, as well (a part which was deleted once again). 

     

    The whole scene gives such a feeling of perfect marital bliss that you almost expect that a “JUST MARRIED” sign must be hanging somewhere on the wall. The fact that they FEED EACH OTHER IS SO APTLY SYMBOLIC AND IT UNDERSCORES THE HONEYMOON MOOD EVEN MORE because it’s a direct parallel to the previous night and the shadow play - besides the wolves, they did multiple shadows of bird mates and MOST BIRD MATES ACTUALLY FEED EACH OTHER WHEN THEY AREBREEDING(hint: a baby) MATING.

     

     

    I think we should invite him (LJK) in this forum :wub:

    so he will know how awesome his fans are... doing analysis, fan art, fan fic, video, etc

    how emotional we are waiting for episode air, BTS

    some of us might curious about korean history (that's me) and read article related with goryeo dynasty

Aside from the TV ratings, the drama is getting a lot of positive feedback, and many are praising Lee Jun Ki's acting. However, he did not make excuses, saying, "I have no regrets. As a leading role, I must have a sense of responsibility with its success, including TV ratings. As I watch this drama, I am looking for what it is lacking." 

     

    His monitoring does not end there. Lee Jun Ki says that he reads all the comments on articles related to him. He explained, "Not just my works, but I watch almost all dramas and movies that are out to analyze what people like, why certain dramas have high ratings, and why some don't do as well. It helps me be a better actor for the next work and also helps me to select scripts." 

     

    When questioned about plans to get married, he responded, "I have my priorities. I want to be settled as an actor first. It's not just about performing well as an actor. I think a lot about how I can be chosen by the public consistently...Yes, I do feel frustrated with myself sometimes too."

    so sad for him, due to TV Ranking... 

    he feels responsible for the whole production shows :bawling:, I think he was an amazing actor and he didn't make an excuse and think positive to make his acting much better... 

    He has done outstanding job as Wang So and also other MLSHR cast... this drama touches our heart...

(at least for me, and I'm not even into saeguks but demm how did I end up in this beautiful roller coaster ride? Must be the power of SoSoo's intense passionate love :astonished:)

    P.S. Hoping and waiting for an amazing person to post IU's beautiful costumes for couple shirt goryeo style reference.

    hi all...

    i love this forum a lot :wub::wub:
    i've been lurking this forum since the MLSHR begin and got addict to it :)
    it's become a habit until now. and here's my checklist at office :)
    - check this forum
    - play MLSHR Ost 
    - watch bts
    - re-watch the MLSHR again :)
    - watch others LJK drama

    and since it begin, i do watch all LJK drama and his movie
    and become "fangirling" of LJK... (please forgive this ahjumma hehe...)
    one of my favorite movie is The King and The Clown.. he was so amazing actor and he got a lot of awards from this movie. he is an amazing actor. (i've seen his bts during his kiss scene with the king... OMG he was so embarrassed, hiding for a while after the kiss.. but he did it) 

    this is the first time i watch the whole drama and movie of an actors. I like watching "Descendants of the Sun" but it doesn't make me want to watch other's soo jong ki drama :)

    i don't hate monday at all :)
