Signature Gif?

i uploaded a .gif to imageshack and i'm trying to put it as my signature but I get this error:

Sorry, dynamic pages in the tags are not allowed

i've never done this before so i'm wondering if i'm missing something? i used the image link button on the toolbar and tried with and without the preset http:..

you picked a wrong link

you should pick the "direct link to image" one, the one that doesnt have "my.php?image"

What ~ BunnyliciouS ~ said. Plus, you can't use that gif anyway, it's way over 40 kb.

edit: sorry, but do i resize .gifs to be useable? i thought the one i uploaded could work because someone had it in their signature as well

But MAKE SURE you reduce the image size to under 40 KB, and that you have permission from the person you took it from to put it in your signature/avatar.

^ thanks, i appreciate it.. but i have no idea how to make it under 40 kb.. it says the file is too high or too wide but when i try to compress it when uploading, i still get the same result

plus i'm looking for the person with the .gif originally but its like finding a needle in a haystack argh.. this is the first .gif i saw that i wanted to use as a signature.. jaejin is so hot ^^

^ Try opening it with imageready, and reduce the size in the optimized area. Try making the gif faster by making the time of each frame slower, etc. Basically, just make the time, and size small x_x haha.

you can get imagesready with adobe CS2 trial from the official site. just download & install.
