They have hip hop weekend classes tho, i might check it out today or the following week. If anyone is currently taking any poppin/hip hop classes, let me know how it is~
Guest shinhwa*battle
I went to Defdance and took the regular class for Hiphop. It was such a disappointment, they didnt have other classes other than beginners and if i wanted something more difficult that beginners, I had to pay for private lesson which was insanely expensive. So I paid about 18,000 or 20,000won (can't rmb) to join the regular class. It was one and a half hrs long and the first hour was spent on simple warmup and stretching, and a little bit of basics. Such as bounce, etc. And then when we were finally learning the choreography, i was disappointed again because we only learnt 1 count of 8 for the whole class! I mean, i dont blame the instructor cos everyone else (the regulars in class) were super beginners so they couldn't catch the steps. honestly, i thought defdance would be able to offer something more challenging. well.... if anyone else knows of any other studios that are more challenging, please let me know!
