Even though everyone wanted DanBaek moments and i don't want to spoil anyone's thunder but after all this i am now convinced that this drama was really about SJ. I think everything else was a back story. DanBaek hooked everyone as the couple we all wanted to see get together which grabbed everyone's attention but the writers used that to thinly veil the fact that the main story is and always was about SJ. especially in the long run his character literally took over most of the show. think about it......

nope, the writers lost the plot somehow. the show was advertised as to show the contrast between SJ and BK. one who took the shortcut to power and wealth and ultimate downfall. The other who worked his way up, always choosing family over power and wealth and shows the real meaning of family.

Except for the cheesy ending and the abrupt change of heart that SJ apparently has, his character has been rather well written. BK's character on the other hand is .... well, l'm just glad the show is coming to an end as he now looks so pampered and incapable of taking care of himself.

Maybe its the translators who do a poor job? I still remembere JY billed as the woman who makes a great sacrifice for love. I haven't seen any sacrfice, just lots and lots of very stupid moments!

As for the writing on this show, it was richard simmons poor. I know Korean dramas are notorious for dragging out a storyline and finishing it up in one clean swoop, but this is ridiculous. There was no REAL continuity in the growth for anyone. Yes, BH changed from a freeloading ne'er-do-well to a hard working guy who is a people person. But where was his ability to interact with people in the beginning when he was making a pain out of himself while eating free samples as if he didn't know that it was inappropriate to do that or his fighting with random women he met for the first time such as DP and SA? They never showed that BH was this people person in the beginning (who is so much better with people that he even has to tell DP what the best way to talk to granny is), just that he was a jack of all trades. And SJ showed little to no remorse for anything he's done to anyone throughout the show and all of a sudden he had this breakthrough? Why all of a sudden now? He's a guy who wished for his father-in-law to die from his brain hemorrhage, but he feels remorseful because SA begged her dad to let him keep his job? Granny and SA to a degree couldn't give BH and DJ the time of day even while MS was in the hospital and they saw all that DJ and BH were doing for MS, but now all of a sudden, they accept them into the family? Why now?

Everyone is changing, but for a 172 episode drama, the changes weren't gradual and spread out so that it would have been believable, but overnight and all of a sudden. The show should have paced themselves better.

What does it matter who the story is "mainly" about? The reason there are so many characters in a daily/any long running drama is that it gives folks a choice of different characters and/or storylines that might interest them. There is enough episodes to go around that each character can be the protagonist of their own segment of the story.

BTW, it's ridiculous if DJ gets pregnant. Menopausal women do not get pregnant naturally without medical intervention. And no sane fertility specialist would try to do any procedures on menopausal women (it would ruin the fertility clinic's stats). Most people don't know that even if women can get pregnant naturally in their mid- to late-forties, those are rare indeed. We see a lot of older famous women getting pregnant and delivering babies at ripe age of 45+. What we don't know is whether these babies derived from the eggs of their birth mothers (not that it matters), but I don't like the media giving older women false hope. So DJ's pregnancy is a virtual impossibility unless she used a donor egg.

I'm also quite baffled with the time-line. I thought the aunt stole the toothbrushes for testing before SA went to Paris. How come it takes 2 years for the DNA result to come back?! Did the Granny receive the DNA result before the 2-year flashforward or after?

I guess it would have been much better if they didnt have a second extension. I think the writers are still at their best in the first extension of up to 165 episodes..when they decided for second extension of 8 more episodes...maybe their creativities are all spent.

As for the preview.. I hope only DP is pregnant. DJ?..maybe just gastristis

seem swriters really love SJ..cant really leave him alone in the end. Romantic Paris didnt make SA forget ..but then..no way she can find another man like SJ.

The same here. Just finished watching ... have a smile on my face ... but still wondering is BH MS's son?????

Also, it looks like SJ and BH traded places. BH is a serious business man in SJ's old office and SJ is a happy-go-lucky physical laborer packing and selling tomatoes.

I couldn't buy into the oldie's pregnancy nor SJ's transformation but hey... that's what they dished out.

It matters to me. Except for whodunit's, I read synopsis and sneak a preview of the ending, if available, like in books. If I don't like what I read, I don't read the book/watch the show. So I feel kinda cheated since the last 30 or so episodes. Now you say that all the scenarious are just a rough guide ... I have to reconsider watching k-dramas. This is the first show I've watched from start to end and I am not too happy with the cheesy ending.

I thought SA and SJ reconciling was kind of forced. But overall it was a nice ending to the drama.

I've been having problem with Internet connection at home for the past few weeks but was lucky enough to catch the last two final episodes of MiGo live online. As expected, everything is rushed to make way for a happy ending, and maybe it's because I'm not fond of the granny so much that I'm not happy that lots of good things happened on her birthday (I assume all the events we saw in the 'after 2 years' scenes happened in one day, and they are having the feast at the end of the episode to celebrate granny's birthday),..

I don't have any comment on DJ's pregnancy , but I really like her reaction to the news and every time somebody mention about it,.. it was quite funny to watch and I also find the way SJ entered Bong's house a bit funny as well,..
