wow guys, i just have to say i'm so impressed with the girls' MR removed thingie. seriously, i didn't realise how well they did the chorus parts! 1, i wasn't aware they always sang during it, and 2, i was impressed by how synchronised and well-harmonised they were! i know not all the girls sing during them, but still, IMPRESSED! i especially enjoyed watching the ITNW one, because that one has the most complex choreography and they still sounded really good. =D and i think listening to it, i'm once again back to the thought that Yuri has a powerful voice, it's just a bit... untamed. more control and she'd be so great.

this is late, but i watched the "come on over" perf and i have to say, Seohyun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! man she NEEDS to use that voice more!! it's very mature and impressive, especially the last note where her voice goes kinda raspy. so nice!! the other girls were also very impressive, and the best thing is they seem to really enjoy performing it, so it's good to see!

and seohyun's trot song was cute, lol, the mv was different. Yuri was cute in it.

and i can't wait to see Taeyeon's collab with Epik High! i always Epik High's collabs with female artists! =D

The questionable quality of idol singers' voices?

Recently, popular singers such as DBSK, Wonder Girls, SNSD, KARA, SUPERJUNIOR have had recordings of their live performances put up on the net. These recordings have been stripped of all accompaniment and harmonization, and have caused lots of dicussions and controversies on the Internet. Japanese netizens have made use of certain programmes to remove all tracks leaving only the voice tracks of these singers and published these files on the Internet. These files have shown the public the true quality of these idols' voices.

Se7en, DBSK, Big Bang and CSHJ have received general approval from netizens due to their "excellent vocal abilities", and SNSD has also been deemed "passable".

Anyways, although to me i think they're better than "passable" that's still good enough for me b/c these are the Japanese netizens which is really good considering that they haven't released anything there...yet good job girls...and on the plus side...and they're the only girl group that is currently/recently promoting in Korea...hehe
