Guest mugendai Posted April 6, 2009 Share Posted April 6, 2009 most of the girls you posted are actually magazine models rather than net idols (dunno if all of them are but i recognise a majority of them)....as far as i know, the net idol concept isnt really popular in japan because regular people rarely post up private pictures of themselves because of the whole privacy issue. the people who post their pictures up openly on their blog are probably people that are already famous. Chinese net idols aren't any better IMO (they stack on makeup and photoshop heaps and most of the 'cute' chinese idol girls look like they're 12). They look far creepier than the 'Japanese net idols' (if there is such a thing). I agree with mugendai though. You can prolly find some 'pretty people' around ameblo and related blog sites though. Guest geishaOo Posted April 8, 2009 Share Posted April 8, 2009 ^ she's really pretty and what an upgrade from the chinese net idols. i'd skim through pages from there and the girls there are no competition. every asian net idol will put on chunks of makeup and flare up their hairdos. that's nothing unusual for the past how many years and japanese models are no exception. well if these japanese net idols are so famous perhaps they'll be sharing their own thread soon. i don't see why not if angelababy/janice should have one. and she's making the modern style look glamorous. much better than the other eye sores but they make the pretty ones look even prettier. Better to call this a Japanese model thread, right? If you look at other uhlzzang/idol threads, not all the people featured there are model/celeb. You have to be pretty and well-known to be a Net Idol, but not necessarily a model. But yeah, if only normal [as in, non-celeb/model] Japanese girls/guys share their pics more..
