maybe u read/heard/saw the problem wrong,

because the answer for "YOYO" is 11, that's including across/vertical/backwards/diagonal

or at least, it should be.

otherwise the answer would be 7, since there are 14 Y's, 16 O's and you can make 7 YOYO's with that..

On the assumption that the only rule is that you can't reuse a letter, my count is at 90 so far. And this doesn't include zig-zags (which so far are 10). I'm guessing I'm half-way done. Anyone know the real answer? Can I still get $7000 if I get the right one?

[EDIT] I just tried a new counting method, and the first Y alone has 10 different ways to make YOYO. The second Y on the first row has 22 possibilities.

I give up. This is going to take forever.
