Does anyone have tips for learning pronunciation..better? T_T

I have braces and I can barely pronounce words in English clearly. ._.

And sometimes when I'm trying to say stuff in French, my Canto accent comes up.. its really..weird

I'm studying French 2 over the summer so I can skip and its hard.. cause I have no one to practice with.

My good French who was from France moved back in the beginning of summer T_T Soo..

Also, if anyone whos fluent in French who is online a lot would want to help me check stuff when I'm studying to make sure I'm doing it right.. I would love you forever. T^T..

Ha oais aouch effectivement. Bon rassure toi j'étais très mauvais en classe .

Ça parait un peu dans ta correction. Avec le "vas" qui est mal conjugué à la 3e personne du singulier et la règle de la négation "ne... pas". En tout cas, moi, j'étais pas mieux à l'école. Hahaha. C'était sûrement parce que je ne mettais jamais assez d'efforts.

J'ai deja ecouter un extrait , a moment donner dans mon coin tout le monde etait fou du "Donjon de Naheulbeuk"

Mais j'ai jamais etait vraiment fan ._.'' mais anyways xD

C'est un livre asez interessant . . . roman policier//meurtre//etc.

Ah et aussi en parlant d'humouriste, Y'a Gad El Maleh. Je l'aime beaucoup, y'es tellement crampant ;D ~~

ET c'est un des seuls humouristes Francais a pouvoir imiter l'accent quebecois comme du monde ( Y'a vecu au Quebec a moment donner aussi mais bon-- )

Hahaha 10 petits nègres... C'est un livre que presque tous les étudiants du 2/3e secondaire lisent... Tout un classique... Ça fait des années que cette tradition de faire lire ce livre à des étudiants du 2e/3e sec existe... haha... Je m'en souviens même pu de l'histoire...

Ouain c'est vrai ça! Ma soeur (elle vit en suisse maintenant depuis 2ans) m'en a parlé de lui...

I really need a French correspondent of some sort, since I'm take A-Levels IGCSE this year, or next year. And I'm going to need a WHOLE lot of help because I'm studying French on my own since my school doesn't provide French lessons.

Just some background:

I've been learning very basic french for about 4 years and I took the O-Levels IGCSE this year. I did everything from speaking, listening, reading and writing + comprehension. I got a C. I don't think I did too well though, and I know that I can do a LOT better than that. The learning on my own will be a glitch, but I'm very hopeful =)

I suppose exposing myself to a more French environment will help do the trick, in addition, a lot of studying and memorizing on my part! If you're interested, please PM me!

You could try Candide, it's pretty funny...

Other than that I read a lot of depressing novels, too, hahaha. Proust's Swann's Way, Pierre et Jean, Enfant Noir, La Guerre de Troie N'aura Pas Lieu... I think it's a rule that the novels have to be depressing to be studied in French class, haha.

Si tu veux lire des fomans classiques pas dépressifs essaie "le conte de Monte-Cristo" (plus classique que ca tu meurs). Très riche en vocabulaire et pas du tout dépressifs (mais il est pas très facile à lire non plus). À part ça, essaie les livres de Amélie Nothomb par exemple "stupeur et tremblement" ou "l'hygiène de l'assassin". Elle écrit magnifiquement bien et ses romans sont loin d'être barbants.

^ OOoo!! j'ai complètement oublié cela; j'ai lue "le conte de Monte-Cristo" en secondaire 1 mais en forme de graphic novel, heehee. Peut-être c'est temps d'essayer le roman, lol. Je vais chercher pour ceux de Nothomb aussi la prochain fois que je vas à la bibliothèque. thanks for your suggestions!

- Tais -> if you know Big Bang, then it sounds exactly like TAE Yang lol. if not, the "ais" sounds like "eh"

- the "oi" in toi sounds like "wa" like in "wasabi" so just add the t in wa

- t'es, well it's the same pronounciation like tais

- con: the c is hard, like koala. the "on" sounds like someone says "aww" but instead it's with an "o" lol, so that makes like a "oonnhh" sound haha.. sry i'm bad at explaining!
