I heard that in Korea it's a tradition for girls to get plastic surgery to make them look more American or something... So do the guys get plastic surgery as well? It's really bad for your skin because of all the toxins that are injected into it. I'd never get plastic surgery... So does that mean that they're all fake? Because I really like HanByul and I'm going to cry if she had plastic surgery as well. ='( Same with SolKi.

I don't know if it's tradition for girls to get plastic surgery but I think some at least get double eyelid surgery. Maybe lack of self esteem or whatever, but I don't see anything wrong with it. I suppose surgery is bad because things can go wrong and it might mess up their face forever but as long as they don't get addicted to fixing all their flaws. Anyway I don't think SolKi got any surgery... I could be wrong though. She looks pretty natural to me.

im korean and heres what i know

minor plastic surgery is pretty accepted in korea~sankapul, dimples, chin, nose...all that~

i noticed that i was kinda one of those things where u make fun of the person behind their back but then secretly wish u could have done it yourself~

last time i went to korea i got a lot of this

"oh you have nice sankapul! did u get it fixed?"

"you should fix ur birthmark~i know a place where they'll do it for cheap"

and im almost positive hanbyul got surgery~for any korean celebrity theres a good chance that they got something fixed...

its not a tradition. its just socially accepted to get a fix of minor things.

you shouldnt start not liking someone just because they got plastic surgery.. if they felt insecure about it and now they feel good about themselves then good for them. its their own choice to.

About uljjangs having plastic surgery..

I think it has been accepted socially, to think that everyone is actually doing it. Plus, they're rich and plastic surgery doesn't cost much.

But of course, a natural looking ulzzang is officially an uljjang
